Warning / indicator lampStateCauseAction / Observations
Engine oilpressurefixed. There is a fault with the engine
lubrication system. You must stop as soon it is safe to do so.
Park, switch off the ignition and contact a CITROËN
dealer or a qualified workshop.
Battery chargefixed.The battery charging circuit has a fault (dirty or loose terminals, slack or cut alternator belt, ...). The warnin
g lamp should go off when the engine is started.
If it does not go off, contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
Door(s) open / Electric opening boot lid open
fixed if the speed is
below 6 mph (10 km/h). A door or the electric opening boot is still open. Close the door or boot.

Fuel tank capacity: approximately 50 litres.
Never continue to drive until you run out of fuel as
this could damage the emission control and injectionsystems.

Monitoring
For a few seconds after the ignition is switchedon,the spanner flashes
to indicate that the ser vice must be carried out as soon as possible.
Example:
the ser vice is overdue by 18 0 miles (300 km).
For a few seconds after the ignition is switched
on, the display indicates:
The distance remaining may be weighted by the time factor, depending on the driver's driving habits.
Therefore, the spanner may also come
on if you have exceeded the two year service interval.
Following this operation, if you wish to disconnect the battery, lock the vehicleand wait at least five minutes for the zero reset to be taken into account.
Service indicatorzero reset
After each ser vice, the ser vice indicator mustbe reset to zero.
The procedure for resetting to zero is as
follows: ) switch off the ignition, )
press and hold the trip distance recorder zero reset button,
)
switch on the ignition; the distance recorder
display begins a countdown,
) when the display indicates "=0"
, release
the button; the spanner disappears.
Retrieving the serviceinformation
You can access the service information at
any time.
) Press the trip distance recorder zero reset button.
The ser vice information is displayed for a
few seconds, then disappears.
A few seconds after the ignition is switched
on, the distance recorder resumes its normal
operation. The spanner remains on.

Changing the battery
)Remove the flat battery from its location. )Fit the new battery into its location
observing the original direction of fitment. )Clip the cover onto the casing.
In the event of a fault with the remote control,
you can no longer unlock, lock or locate your
vehicle. )First of all, use the key in the lock to unlock
or lock your vehicle. )Then, reinitialise the remote control.

)Switch off the ignition and remove the ignition key. )Press the closed padlock immediatelyfor a few seconds. )Turn the key to position 2 (Ignition on). )Switch off the ignition and remove the keyfrom the ignition switch.
The remote control is fully operational again. Battery re
f.: CR2032 / 3 volts.

Unclip the cover using a small screwdriver
at the cutout. )
Lift off the cover.

Access
System which protects and provides a deterrentagainst theft and break-ins. It provides perimeter protection as well as a self-protection
function.
Alarm
Perimeter protection
The system checks for opening of the vehicle.
The alarm is triggered if anyone tries to open a
door, the boot, the bonnet...
Self-protection function
The system checks for the putting out of ser vice of its components. The alarm is triggered if the battery, the central control or the wires of the siren are put out of ser vice or damaged.
Locking the vehicle with
alarm
Activation
)Switch off the ignition and get out of the vehicle.
)
Press the locking button on the
remote control.
The perimeter protection is activated 5 seconds
after pressin
g the locking button on the remotecontrol.
If an opening (door, boot...) is not closed fully, the vehicle is not locked but the alarm isactivated.
)
Press the unlocking button on
the remote control.
Deactivation
The alarm is deactivated: the
indicator lamp goes off. Th
e alarm is activated: a indicator lamp in the switch panel to theleft of the steering wheel flashes
once per second.
For all work on the alarm system, contact a CITROËN dealer or aqualified workshop.
