Remaining range between 1,500 and 350 miles (2,400 and 600 km)
When driving, this message is displayed every
180 miles (300 km) until the fluid level has been
topped up.
The reser ve level has been reached; it is
recommended that you top up as soon as
possible.
It is recommended that you do not top up by
more than 10
litres of AdBlue.
For more information on AdBlue
® and
the SCR system , and, in particular,
on topping up the AdBlue
®, refer to the
corresponding section. Range below 350
miles (600 km)
When driving, this message is displayed every
30 seconds until the AdBlue level has been
topped up.
It is essential to top up as soon as possible and
before the tank is completely empty; other wise
it will not be possible to restart the engine after
the next stop.
When switching on the ignition, this warning
lamp comes on, accompanied by an audible
signal and the display of "NO START IN" and a
distance on the instrument panel, indicating the
driving range expressed in miles or kilometres
before engine starting is prevented –
(e.g. "NO START IN 900
miles" means
"Starting will be prevented in 900 miles").
When switching on the ignition, this warning
lamp flashes and the service warning lamp
comes on, accompanied by an audible signal
and the temporary display of "NO START
IN" and a distance on the instrument panel,
indicating the remaining range expressed in
miles or kilometres before engine starting is
prevented –
(e.g. "NO START IN 180 miles" means "Starting
will be prevented in 180 miles").
For more information on AdBlue
®
(BlueHDI engines) and, in particular, on
topping up, refer to the corresponding
section. Breakdown related to a lack of AdBlue
®
The AdBlue® tank is empty: the starting
inhibition system required by regulations
prevents starting of the engine.
To be able to restart the engine, it is
essential to add at least 4
litres of AdBlue
®
to its tank.
For more information on the AdBlue
® (BlueHDi
engines) , and, in particular, on topping up,
refer to the corresponding section. When switching on the ignition, this warning
lamp flashes and the service warning lamp
comes on, accompanied by an audible signal
and the temporary display of "NO START IN"
and 0
miles or km on the instrument panel –
("NO START IN 0
miles" means "Starting
prevented").

This value may vary following a change
in the driving style or the relief, resulting
in a significant change in the current fuel
consumption.
When the range falls below 18
miles (30 km),
dashes are displayed. After filling with at least
5
litres of fuel, the range is recalculated and is
displayed if it exceeds 60
miles (100 km).
If dashes are displayed continuously while
driving instead of the digits, contact a
CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
Current fuel consumption

trip was reset.
Average speed

Fittings
Glove box
It can be used to hold a water bottle, the
vehicle's handbook pack, etc.
Depending on version, it may have a lid. In this
case:
F
T
o open the glove box, raise the handle.
Removable ashtray
F Raise the cover to open the ashtray.
F T o empty it, with the cover raised, pull the
ashtray upward.
It contains the front passenger airbag
deactivation switch.
To avoid any problem of inter ference
or risk of overturning, do not place the
ashtray near the gear lever.
Sun visor
Provides protection against sunlight from the
front or the side.
The passenger's sun visor is fitted with a vanity
mirror with concealing flap and a ticket holder.
If after a long period parked in the
sun, the interior temperature is very
high, first ventilate the passenger
compartment for a few moments.
Put the air flow control at a setting high
enough to quickly change the air in the
passenger compartment.
The air conditioning system does not
contain chlorine and does not present
any danger to the ozone layer.
Stop & Star t
The heating and air conditioning systems
only work when the engine is running.
To maintain a comfortable temperature
in the passenger compartment, you can
temporarily deactivate the Stop & Start
system.
For more information on Stop & Star t ,
refer to the corresponding section.

Anti-lock braking system
(ABS) and electronic brake
force distribution (EBFD)
The fixed illumination of this warning
lamp signals that there is a fault with
the ABS.
Illumination of this warning lamp,
coupled with the STOP and ABS
warning lamps, accompanied by
the display of a message and an
audible signal, signals that there is a
fault with the electronic brake force
distribution (EBFD).
Normal operation of the ABS may make
itself felt by slight vibration of the brake
pedal.
When braking in an emergency, press
firmly without ever releasing the
pressure. When changing wheels (tyres and rims),
ensure that these are approved for your
vehicle.Anti-slip regulation (ASR)
/ Dynamic stability control
(DSC)
Operation
These systems are activated automatically
every time the vehicle is started.
They come into operation in the event of a
problem of grip or trajectory.
Deactivation
In exceptional conditions (starting a vehicle
which is bogged down, stuck in snow, on soft
ground, etc.), it may be advisable to deactivate
these systems, so that the wheels can turn
freely and regain grip.
Reactivate the systems as soon as the level of
grip permits.
The vehicle retains conventional braking. Drive
carefully at moderate speed.
Contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop as soon as possible.
You must stop as soon as it is safe to do so.
Call a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop. This is indicated by this warning
lamp flashing in the instrument
panel.F
P
ress this button until the
corresponding symbol appears
in the instrument panel.
The button indicator lamp comes on.
The ASR and DSC systems will no longer have
an effect on engine operation or the brakes in
the event of an involuntary change of trajectory.
Reactivation
The ASR system is reactivated automatically
every time the ignition is switched back on or
from 30
mph (50 km/h).
Below 30
mph (50 km/h), you can reactivate it
manually.
F
P
ress this button again to

Driving recommendations
Comply with the Highway Code and remain
vigilant whatever the traffic conditions.
Pay close attention to the traffic and keep your
hands on the wheel so that you are ready to
react at any time to any eventuality.
As a safety measure, the driver must only
carry out any operations that require sustained
attention when the vehicle is stationary.
On a long journey, a break every two hours is
strongly recommended.
In bad weather, drive smoothly, anticipate the
need to brake and increase the distance from
other vehicles.
Important!
Never drive with the parking brake applied
– Risk of overheating and damage to the
braking system!
As the exhaust system of your vehicle
is very hot, even several minutes after
switching off the engine, never park or run
the engine on inflammable sur faces (dry
grass, fallen leaves, etc.): Risk of fire!Never leave a vehicle unsuper vised with
the engine running. If you have to leave
your vehicle with the engine running, apply
the parking brake and put the gearbox into
neutral or position N or P
, depending on
the type of gearbox.
Driving on flooded roads
We strongly advise against driving on flooded
roads, as this could cause serious damage
to the engine or gearbox, as well as to the
electrical systems of your vehicle.
If you are obliged to drive through water:
-
c
heck that the depth of water does not
exceed 15
cm, taking account of waves that
might be generated by other users, -
d
eactivate the Stop & Start function,
-
d
rive as slowly as possible without stalling.
Under no circumstances exceed 6 mph
(10 km/h),
-
d
o not stop and do not switch off the engine.
On leaving the flooded road, as soon as
circumstances allow, make several light brake
applications to dry the brake discs and pads.
If in doubt about the state of your vehicle,
contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop.
