12 V compressor with integral pressure
gauge, to measure and adjust the tyre
pressure.
Composition of the kit

Sealant car tridge for the temporary repair
of a tyre.

core, a tool for removing/refitting the valve

The speed restriction sticker must be
affixed to the vehicle's steering wheel to
remind you that a wheel is in temporary

Do not exceed a speed of 50 mph
(80 km/h) when driving with a tyre
repaired using this type of kit.
Refi tting the rear seat cushion

Put the metal cover back into place.
)
Refit the four "butter fly" screws.
)
Inser t the metal hooks into the seat
backrest.
)
Fold the seat cushion down until it locks
in place.
When refitting the cushion, take care
not to trap the seat belt buckles.

Repair procedure
1. Sealing
)
Switch off the ignition.
)
Indicate on the speed restriction sticker
provided, the wheel to be repaired, then fix
it to the steering wheel as a reminder that a
wheel is in temporary use.
)
Shake the sealant car tridge, remove the
cap and screw on the injection pipe.
)
Remove the valve cap for the tyre to be
repaired.
)
Remove the valve core using the tool
provided, and store in in a clean place.
)
Connect the injection pipe to the valve of
the tyre to be repaired.
)
Tap the sealant car tridge (top down)
several times with your hand, so as to inject
all of the product
into the tyre.
)
Remove the injection pipe.
)
Refit the valve core and tighten it using
the tool provided.
Take care, this product is harmful (e.g. ethylene-glycol, colophony...) if swallowed and
causes irritation to the eyes.
Keep it out of reach of children.
The use-by date of the sealant is marked on the car tridge.
After use, do not discard the empty cartridge but take it to a CITROËN dealer (France) or
an authorised waste disposal site.
Don't forget to obtain a replacement car tridge; they are available from a CITROËN dealer
or a qualified workshop.
Avoid removing any foreign bodies
which have penetrated into the tyre.

2. Infl ation

Check that the compressor switch A
is in
the " OFF
" position.

Uncoil the compressor pipe B
.
)
Connect this pipe to the valve of the
repaired wheel.
)
Connect the compressor's electric plug to
the vehicle's 12 V socket (ignition switch in
position "ON" or "ACC").
)
Star t the compressor by turning the
switch A
to the "ON
" position.
)
Using the compressor, adjust the pressure
in accordance with the vehicle's tyre
pressure label (located in the driver's door
aperture).
A loss of pressure indicates that the
puncture has not been fully plugged;
contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop for assistance.
)
Remove the compressor and stow the kit.
)
Drive off straight away at reduced speed
(50 mph [80 km/h] max) limiting the
distance travelled to approximately
120 miles (200 km).
As soon as possible, go to a CITROËN
dealer or a qualified workshop.
Tell the technician that you have used
the kit. After checking, the technician
will advise you whether the tyre can be
repaired or must be replaced.
If after around 5 to 7 minutes the
pressure is not attained, this indicates
that the tyre is not repairable; contact
a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop for assistance.

Changing a wheel
Tools required
- A jack: for lifting the vehicle.
- A wheelbrace: for removing and refitting
the wheel bolts.
- A handle: for operating the jack.
These tools are not supplied with your vehicle.
Parking the vehicle
Immobilise the vehicle where it does not
block traffic: the ground must be level,
stable and not slippery.
Apply the parking brake, switch off
the ignition and put the drive selector in
position P
to lock the wheels.
If necessary, place a chock under
the wheel diagonally opposite the wheel
to be changed.
You must ensure that the occupants get
out of the vehicle and wait where they
are safe.
Never go underneath a vehicle raised
using a jack; use an axle stand.

Slacken the bolts using the wheelbrace.

Place the jack in contact with one of the
two front A
or rear B
locations provided on
the underbody, whichever is closest to the
wheel to be changed.
Removing the wheel

Using the handle, extend the jack until its
base plate is in contact with the ground.
Ensure that the centreline of the jack base
plate is directly below the location A
or B
used.
)
Raise the vehicle until there is sufficient
space between the wheel and the ground.
)
Remove the bolts and store them in a clean
place.
)
Remove the wheel.

Fitting the wheel

Put the wheel in place on the hub.
)
Screw in the bolts by hand.
)
Pre-tighten the bolts using the wheelbrace.
)
Lower the vehicle fully.
)
Fold the jack and detach it.
)
Tighten the bolts using the wheelbrace.
After changing a wheel
Have the tightening of the bolts and
the pressure of the new wheel checked
by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop without delay.

Changing a dipped beam
headlamp bulb

Turn the bulb holder to the left and
pull it out.
)
Remove the bulb by pressing its tab.
)
Replace the bulb.
To refit, carry out these operations in reverse
order.
Changing a foglamp/daytime
running lamp bulb
)
Turn the wheels onto full lock to improve
access.
)
Remove the clips holding the protective
cover over the bulb holder.
)
Pull the cover away.
)
Turn the bulb holder ( A
for the foglamp,
B
for the daytime running lamps) to the left
and pull it out.
)
Pull the bulb out and replace it.
To refit, carry out these operations in reverse
order.

Towing the vehicle
Procedure for having your vehicle towed using fixed mechanical equipment.

The towing eye is welded to the body below the
front bumper.

Install the towing bar.

Start your vehicle ("Ready" lamp on).

Put the drive selector in position N

Release the parking brake.

Switch on the hazard warning lamps on
your vehicle.

Have your vehicle towed for no more than
20 miles (30 km) without exceeding a
speed of 20 mph (30 km/h)
.
When towing the vehicle with the four
wheels on the ground, always use a
towing bar.
When towing with only two wheels on
the ground, use professional lifting
equipment.
Failure to follow these instructions may
cause damage to braking components
and the electric motor.
Changing a wiper
blade
Removing a front or rear
wiper blade

Raise the corresponding wiper arm.
)
Remove the wiper blade, sliding it towards
the outside.
Fitting a front or rear wiper
blade
)
Put the new wiper blade in place and
secure it.
)
Fold down the wiper arm carefully.
Towing another vehicle
Your vehicle cannot be used in any
circumstances to tow another vehicle.

Conversion kits
You can obtain an "Enterprise" kit to conver t a
trade vehicle to a private car and vice-versa.
"Comfort":
black armrest, reading lamp, insulated
modules, rear parking sensors, cigarette lighter,
ashtray with base...
"Transport solutions":
boot carpet, rear parcel shelf, boot dividers...
"Security and safety":
alarm, wheel security bolts, child seats,
breathalyzer, warning triangle, high visibility
vest, first aid kit, snow chains, non-slip covers...
Precautions for
washing
To avoid damaging the electrical
components, the use of a high pressure
jet wash is strictly prohibited:
- in the front compar tment (under
the bonnet),
- under the body.
For washing the body, do not use a
pressure greater than 80 bars. Check - before washing the vehicle -
that the charging flaps and the charging
socket covers (normal and fast charge)
are properly closed.
Do not wash the vehicle while the
battery is being recharged.

Identifi cation markings
Various visible markings for the identification of your vehicle.
A. Ser vice - Replacement Par ts
identification plate.
This plate is riveted to the underside of
the bonnet. Tyre pressures must be checked
when the tyres are cold, at least once
a month.
Low tyre pressures increase the
electrical power consumption of your
vehicle, which reduces its range.
B. Tyre identification label.
This label is affixed to the driver's centre pillar.
It bears the following information:
- the tyre pressures (in bars),
- the tyre specification,
- the type of tyre.
C. Manufacturer's plate
This plate is riveted to the left hand centre
pillar.
D. Vehicle identification number (VIN).
This number is is engraved on the inner wheel
arch, inside the boot, right hand side.
For information on fitting snow chains,
contact a CITROËN dealer or a
qualified workshop.
It bears in par ticular the following information:
- the vehicle model,
- the paint code,
- the type, variant, version.
