USB Player


This USB port, is located on the centre console.
It permits the connection of por table devices,
such as a digital audio player of the iPod ® type
or a USB memory stick.
It reads the audio files which are transmitted
to your audio equipment and played via the
vehicle’s speakers.
You can manage these files using the audio
system controls.

Braking assistance systems







Anti-lock braking system
and electronic brake force
distribution
Linked systems which improve the stability and
manoeuvrability of your vehicle when braking,
in par ticular on poor or slippery sur faces. Group of supplementary systems which help
you to obtain optimum braking in complete
safety in emergency situations:


- anti-lock braking system (ABS),

- electronic brake force distribution (EBFD),

- emergency braking assistance (EBA).









Emergency or
assistance call
This system allows you to make an emergency
or assistance call to the emergency ser vices or
to the dedicated CITROËN ser vice.
For more information on the use of this
function, refer to the "Audio and telematics"
section.
When braking in an emergency, press
very firmly without releasing the
pressure.


Activation

The anti-lock braking system comes into
operation automatically when there is a risk of
wheel lock.
Normal operation of the ABS may make itself
felt by slight vibration of the brake pedal.

Installation of radio
communication
transmitters
Before installing any after-market radio
communication transmitter, you can
contact a CITROËN dealer for the
specification of transmitters which can
be fitted (frequency, maximum power,
aerial position, specific installation
requirements), in line with the Vehicle
Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive
(2004/104/EC).


Depending on the legislation in force
in the country, it may be compulsory
to have a high visibility safety vest,
warning triangle and spare bulbs and
fuses available in the vehicle.

The system is coded in such a way that it will only
operate in your vehicle. If it is to be installed in another
vehicle, contact your CITROËN dealer for confi guration
of the system.


AUDIO SYSTEM/BLUETOOTH

01 First steps


For safety reasons, the driver must only carry out
operations which require prolonged attention while the
vehicle is stationary.
When the motor is switched off and to prevent
discharging of the battery, the audio system may switch
off after a few minutes.

After a battery disconnection, a code has to be entered
for operation of the radio.
A maximum of fi ve attempts are possible. For the last
two attempts, a 15 minutes wait is imposed between
each attempt.
Refer to the end of this document to fi nd the label
indicating this code:

FIRST STEPS



1. On/Off and volume adjustment.

2. CD eject.

3. Selection of source:
FM1, FM2, CD, USB, AUX, Streaming.
Accept an incoming call.
Long press:


- access to calls log of the telephone
connected,

- or end a call in progress.
4. Selection of a preset radio station.
Radio: long press: preset a radio station.
Other than radio: see relevant sections.

5. Display the list of stations received,
the CD/USB tracks or folders.
Long press: update the list of stations
received.

6. Abandon current operation

Up one level (menu or folder).
7. Automatic search for a lower/higher radio
frequency.
Selection of previous/next CD, USB track.
Navigation in a list.
Maintained press: fast forwards or
backwards.

8. Main menu.

9. Audio settings:
equalizer, treble, bass, loudness,
distribution, left/right balance, front/rear
balance, automatic volume.

RADIO


Press SRC/TEL several times in
succession and select the FM1 or FM2
radio band.

Press a button to listen to the
corresponding preset station.
Select the desired radio station and
confi rm by pressing "OK"
.







RADIO


Press LIST
to display the list of stations
received in alphabetical order.
The exterior environment (hills, buildings, tunnel, car park, below ground...) may prevent reception, even in RDS station tracking mode.
This phenomenon is normal in the propagation of radio waves and is in no way indicative of a fault with the audio system.

A long press on LIST
builds or updates
the list of stations; audio reception is cut
momentarily.

Make a long press on one of the buttons
to preset the station being heard.
The name of the station is displayed
accompanied by an audible signal to
confi rm the preset.

A press changes to the next or previous
letter (e.g. A, B, D, F, G, J, K, ...).
