With the ignition on, the first press of thecorresponding switch switches on the
reading lamp concerned in permanent
lighting mode. ) Following a second press, it comes on:
- when the vehicle is unlocked,
- when the key is removed from the ignition,
- when a door is opened,
- when the remote control locking button
is pressed, in order to locate your

ehicle. In this position, the courtes

comes on gradually:
- when the vehicle is unlocked,
- when the ke

Locking
)With the ignition key, turn the red control
one quarter of a turn:
- to the right on the le
ft-hand rear door,
- to the left on the right-hand rear door.

- to the left on the left-hand rear door,
- to the ri
ght on the right-hand rear door.




Electric child lock

Activation
)
Press this button. The indicator lamp on the button comes on, accompanied by a message in the multifunction screen.
This indicator lamp remains on until the childlock is deactivated.


Deactivation
)Press the button again.
The indicator lamp on the button switches off,
accompanied by a message in the multifunction screen. This indicator lamp remains off until the childlock is activated.

This system is independent and in nocircumstances does it take the place of the central locking control. Check the status of the child lock eachtime you switch on the ignition.

Always remove the key from the ignition when leaving the vehicle, even for a short time. Remote control system to prevent opening o

The control is located on the driver's door, with

Starting using another
batter
y

Charging the battery using
a battery charger
When the battery on your vehicle is discharged,
the engine can be star ted using a slave battery (external or on another vehicle) and jump leads.
)Follow the instructions for use provided by
the manufacturer of the charger.
First check that the slave battery has a nominalvoltage of 12 V and a capacity at least equal to
that of the discharged battery.
Do not try to star t the engine by connecting a
batter
y charger.
Do not disconnect the (+) terminal when the engine is running.
)Connect the red cable to the positive
terminal (+) of the flat battery A , then to the positive terminal (+) of the slave battery B.)Connect one end of the green or blackcable to the negative terminal (-) of the
slave battery B(or ear th point on the other
vehicle).)Connect the other end of the green or black cable to the negative terminal C (or
the engine mounting) of the broken-down
vehicle.)Star t the engine of the other vehicle and
allow it to run for a few minutes.
Do not disconnect the battery to charge it.
)
Operate the star ter of the broken-down
vehicle and let the engine run.
If the engine does not star t immediately,switch off the ignition and wait a few
moments before trying again.) Wait until the engine returns to idle, then
disconnect the jump leads in reverse order.


Batteries contain harmful substances such as sulphuric acid and lead. They must bedisposed of in accordance with regulations and must not, in any circumstances, be discarded with household waste.
Take used remote control batteries andvehicle batteries to a special collection
point.
