Rear seatsEach section (1/3 - 2/3) can be adjusted individually.
Forwards and backwards adjustmentSeat back angle adjustment
F Raise the control and slide the seat for wards or backwards. The seat can be adjusted to 2 different
positions:

comfort (inclined) position.
To adjust the seat back:

ull the control lever for wards.
Head restraint adjustment
The 1/3 - 2/3 rear seat is fitted with head
restraints.
They have a high position (for comfort and
safety) and a low position (for rear visibility).
They may be removed, as follows:

ull the head restraint upwards as far as
possible,
F

t
hen, press on the lug A .
When you are carrying rear
passengers, never drive with the head
restraints removed. They must be
secured in place in the high position.

Removable carpet protection.
Refitting
To refit the mat on the driver's side:
F p osition the mat correctly,

efit the fixings by pressing,

heck that the mat is secured correctly.
Fitting
When fitting the mat for the first time, on the
driver's side use only the fixings provided in the
wallet attached.
The other mats are simply placed on the
carpet.
Removal
To remove the mat on the driver's side:
F m ove the seat as far back as possible,
F

nclip the fixings,
F

r
emove the mat.
Ticket holder
To avoid any risk of jamming of the
pedals:

nly use mats which are suited to
the fixings already present in the
vehicle; these fixings must be used,
-

n
ever fit one mat on top of another.
The use of mats not approved by
CITROËN may inter fere with access to
the pedals and hinder the operation of
the cruise control / speed limiter.
It is located at the top of the dashboard centre
panel.
It can be used to hold toll or parking tickets.

2-position adjustable boot
The two-position adjustable boot floor allows
you to:

aximise the volume of the boot,
-

p
artition the boot (stowing the rear shelf...),
-

o
btain a flat floor from the boot opening to
the front seats, when the rear bench seat is
in the folded and fully back position.Placing the adjustable boot floor
in the low position
F Lift the adjustable boot floor by pulling on the strap.
F

M
ove the adjustable boot floor rear wards
and then down, following the guides on the
sides.
Placing the adjustable boot floor
in the high position
F Lift the adjustable boot floor by pulling the strap.
F

M
ove the adjustable boot floor rear wards
then up to its high position.
In the high position, the adjustable boot floor
allows stowing of the rear parcel shelf and
fragile objects.
The adjustable boot floor is fitted with four
stowing rings to secure your loads using the net
available as an accessory.
Ensure that your boot is empty before
handling the adjustable boot floor.

General points relating to child seats
* The regulations on carrying children are specific to each country. Refer to the
legislation in force in your country.
For maximum safety, please observe the
following recommendations:

n accordance with European regulations,
all children under the age of 12 or less
than one and a half metres tall must
travel in approved child seats suited to
their weight , on seats fitted with a seat
belt or ISOFIX mountings*,

tatistically, the safest seats in your
vehicle for carr ying children are the
rear seats,
-
a c
hild weighing less than 9 kg must
travel in the rearward facing position
both in the front and in the rear. CITROËN recommends
that children
should travel on the rear seats of your
vehicle:

facing up to the age of 3,

facing over the age of 3.
Although one of CITROËN main criteria when designing your vehicle, the safety of your children
also depends on you.

Child seat at the rear
Ensure that the seat belt is correctly
tensioned.
For child seats with a support leg,
ensure that this is in firm contact with
the floor. If necessary, adjust the front
seat of the vehicle.
When a rear ward facing child seat is installed
on a rear passenger seat
, move the vehicle's
front seat for ward and straighten the backrest
so that the rear ward facing child seat does not
touch the vehicle's front seat. When a for ward facing child seat is installed
on a rear passenger seat
, move the vehicle's
front seat for ward and straighten the backrest
so that the legs of the child in the for ward
facing child seat do not touch the vehicle's front
seat.

Child seat in the front*
Rearward facing
When a rear ward facing child seat is installed
on the front passenger seat, adjust the seat to
the intermediate longitudinal position, with the
backrest straightened.
The passenger's front airbag must be
deactivated. Otherwise, the child would
risk being seriously injured or killed if the
airbag were to inflate .
Forward facing
When a for ward facing child seat is installed on
the front passenger seat , adjust the vehicle's
seat to the intermediate longitudinal position
with seat backrest straightened and leave the
passenger's front airbag activated.

efer to the current legislation in your country
before installing your child on the front seat. Ensure that the seat belt is correctly
tensioned.

contact with the floor. If necessary,

Passenger airbag OFF
Never install a rear ward facing child
restraint system on a seat protected by
an active front airbag. This could cause
the death of the child or serious injury.For information on deactivating the
passenger's front airbag, refer to the
"Airbags" section.
Deactivating the passenger's front airbag
The warning label present on both sides of the
passenger's sun visor repeats this advice. In
line with current legislation, the following tables
contain this warning in all of the languages
required.
