a n t i - d a z z l e d e v i c e .
Adjustment
Adjust the mirror so that the
glass is directed correctly in the
"day" position.
Day/night position
Pull the lever to change to the
" n i g h t " a n t i - d a z z l e p o s i t i o n .
Push the lever to change to the
normal "day" position. I n o r d e r t o p r e v e n t d a z z l e , t h e i n t e r i o r
mirror glass darkens automatically in
relation to the intensity of the light
from the rear.
It lightens when the light (light beam of
f o l l o w i n g v e h i c l e s , s u n . . . ) d e c r e a s e s ,
so guaranteeing optimum visibility.
I n o r d e r t o g u a r a n t e e o p t i m u m v i s i -
b i l i t y d u r i n g y o u r m a n o e u v r e s , t h e
mirror lightens automatically when
reverse gear is engaged.
A s a s a f e t y p r e c a u t i o n , t h e m i r r o r s
must be adjusted to reduce the
"blind spot". Automatic day/night model
System which automatically and
progressively changes between the
day and night uses.

Place the controls for tempera-
t u r e a n d a i r fl o w o n m a x i m u m .
Close the central air vents.
Operate the air conditioning by
pressing the control 6 , the warning
lamp comes on.
The system should not be in air re-
circulation.
5 - Rear screen demisting
Can only be operated with the engine
running.
One press on control 5 acti-
vates the electric demisting of
the rear screen and, accord-
ing to version, the exterior
rear view mirrors. The warning lamp
comes on.
It switches off automatically to avoid
excessive power consumption.
One press stops the demisting.
A further press starts it again.
If the engine is stopped before the
end of demisting, the operation will
resume the next time the engine
is started. 6 - Air conditioning
The air conditioning will only operate
when the engine is running.
Press on control 6 The warn-
ing lamp comes on.
For air conditioning, the air
blower control 3 must not be
on position "0" .
Air conditioning is obtained by mixing
the warm air with refrigerated air. The
temperature control 4 adjusts the air
conditioning provided the control 6 is
operational.
4 - T e m p e r a t u r e c o n t r o l
The heating/ventilation and manual
air conditioning systems can only
function with the engine running.

MIRRORS
Exterior mirrors
Each mirror is adjustable to provide
the rear view needed for overtaking
or parking. They can also be folded
f o r p a r k i n g i n c o n fi n e d s p a c e s .
Adjustment
With the ignition on:
move control A to the right or to
the left to select the corresponding
mirror,
move control B in one of four di-
rections to adjust,
return control A to the central po-
sition. The objects observed are, in reality,
closer than they appear.
Take this into account in order to
correctly judge the distance of ve-
hicles approaching from behind.
Folding
from outside: lock the vehicle using
the remote control or the key.
from inside: with the ignition on,
pull control A rearwards.
If the mirrors are folded using con-
trol A , they will not unfold when the
vehicle is unlocked. Pull again on
control A .
Unfolding
from outside: unlock the vehicle us-
ing the remote control or the key.
from inside: with the ignition on,
pull control A rearwards.
The folding and unfolding of the exte-
rior mirrors using the remote control
can be deactivated by a CITROËN
dealer. Automatic tilting in reverse
gear
System which provides a view of the ground during parking manoeuvres in reverse gear.
Programming
With the engine running, engage reverse gear.
Select and adjust the left-hand and right-hand mirrors in succession.
The adjustment is stored immediately.

Exit reverse gear and wait ten seconds. or Return control A to the central position. The mirror glass returns to its initial position. The mirror glass also returns to its initial position: - if the speed exceeds 6 mph (10 km/h), - if the engine is switched off.
S w i t c h i n g o n
With the engine running, engage reverse gear.
Move control A to the right or to Athe left to select the corresponding mirror.
The glass of the mirror selected tilts downwards, in accordance with its programming.
The demisting/defrosting of the ex-
terior mirrors is linked to that of the
rear screen.

anti-dazzle device.
Adjustment
Adjust the mirror so that the
glass is directed correctly in the
"day" position.
D a y / n i g h t p o s i t i o n
Pull the lever to change to the "night" anti-dazzle position.
Push the lever to change to the normal "day" position.
In order to prevent dazzle, the interior
mirror glass darkens automatically
depending on the intensity of the light
from the rear.
It lightens when the light (light beam of
following vehicles, sun...) decreases,
so guaranteeing optimum visibility.
S w i t c h i n g o n
Switch on the ignition and press
switch 1 .
The indicator lamp 2 comes on and
the mirror operates automatically.
S w i t c h i n g o f f
Press switch 1 .
The indicator lamp 2 switches off and
the mirror remains in its lightest state.
In order to guarantee optimum visibility
when manoeuvring the vehicle, the
mirror lightens automatically when re-
verse gear is engaged.
STEERING WHEEL ADJUSTMENT
The height and reach of the steering
wheel can be adjusted to adapt the
driving position to the size of the driver.
Adjustment
First, adjust the driver's seat to
the most suitable position.

, pull the control
to unlock the steering wheel.
Adjust the height and reach.
Push the control to lock the
steering wheel.
A f t e r l o c k i n g , i f y o u p r e s s fi r m l y o n
the steering wheel, a slight click may
be heard.
As a safety precaution, the mirrors
must be adjusted to reduce the
"blind spot". A u t o m a t i c d a y / n i g h t m o d e l
System which automatically and
progressively changes between day
and night use.
As a safety precaution, it is impera-
tive that these operations are carried
out while the vehicle is stationary.
