Deactivation of the rear
electric window controls
If an obstacle is encountered during o peration of the electric windows, you
must
reverse the movement of the

indow. To do this, press the control

When the driver operates the controls
for
the passengers' electric windows,

hey must ensure that nothing is

reventing the windows closing
c
o r r e c t l y.
The
driver must ensure that the

assengers use the electric windows

Be particularly aware of children when
operating

he

indows.
Take
care of any passengers and/or

ther persons present when closing the

indows using the remote control or the

When unlocking of the boot only is activated:

default, complete unlocking is activated.
This setting is done in the "Driving"
menu,
t
hen "Vehicle settings"
and "Vehicle
access" .

unlocked,

Closing

Front armrest
Comfort and storage system for the driver and front passenger.
T he height and length of the armrest cover can be adjusted.
Height adjustment

Storage

eader for the electronic key of the Keyless

Switching off
The welcome lighting switches off automatically after a programmed time, when the ignition is
s
witched on or on locking the vehicle.

remote switching on of the lighting makes

access to the vehicle easier in poor light.

activated depending on the ambient light

sidelamps and dipped beam headlamps,

as
the side spotlamps, located under

he
door
mirrors, come on; your vehicle is also

nlocked.

the duration of the lighting duration

ia the vehicle configuration menu.
Automatic guide-me-home
lighting
When the automatic illumination of headlamps functions is activated, if the ambient light level

s low the dipped beam headlamps remain on

hen switching off the ignition.

Starting the engine
It is not necessary to place the electronic key in t
he r eader. F
B riefly press the "S TA R T/
STOP "
button while maintaining
p
ressure on the pedal until the
engine
s
tarts.
The
steering column unlocks and the
e
ngine
s
tarts.
See the advice below for Diesel
versions.
If
this warning lamp comes on after
p
ressing "START/STOP ", you should
hold
the brake or clutch pedal down
u
ntil the warning lamp goes off and do
n
ot press the "START/STOP " button
again.
If
one of the starting conditions is not
m
et, a reminder message appears in
t
he instrument panel screen. In some
c
ircumstances, it is necessary to turn
t
he steering wheel slightly while pressing
t
he "START/STOP " button to assist
unlocking
of the steering; a message
w
arns you when this is needed.If
the electronic key is not detected in
t
he zone, a message is displayed. Move
t
he electronic key into the zone so that
t
he engine can be started.
The presence of the "Keyless Entry
and
Starting" electronic key in the
r
ecognition zone is essential.
As
a safety measure, do not leave this
z
one with the vehicle running.In
temperatures below zero
t
he engine will not start until
t
he preheater warning lamp
h
as gone off.

automatic gearbox, or neutral with a

anual

earbox.

ith the electronic key inside the vehicle,

ress the brake pedal for vehicles with an

utomatic gearbox, or fully declutch for

Emergency switch-off
In the event of an emergency only, the e ngine c an b e s witched o f w ithout

he " START/STOP " button for about
3
seconds.

this
case the steering column locks as soon

the
vehicle stops.
Electronic key not
recognised
If the electronic key is no longer in the recognition zone when driving or when you
(
later) request switching off the engine, a
m
essage is displayed.

3 seconds
if you want to force

witching off the engine (note
that restar ting will not be
possible without the key ).
Ignition on position
(without starting)
With the Keyless Entry and Starting key inside t
he vehicle, pressing the "START/STOP "
button, with no action on the pedals , allows
the
ignition to be switched on.
With
the ignition on, the system
a
utomatically goes into energy
e
conomy mode when required to
m
aintain the state of charge of the
b
attery.F

ot start.

use-by
date,
read carefully

he instructions on use on the label before
pouring
the
contents
of
the bottle into your
v
ehicle's
Ad
Blue
® tank. F
A
fter emptying the bottle, wipe away any
s
pillage around the tank filler using a damp
c
loth.
F
R
efit the blue cap to the tank and turn it a
6th of a turn clockwise, to its stop.
F
R
efit the black plastic blanking plug,
c
lipping it in on the flap
F
D
etach the cord from the parcel shelf
s
upport and lower the boot floor.
Important:
if
your
vehicle's
AdBlue®
tank
is
completely
empty
-
which
is
c
onfirmed
by
the
alert
displays
and
the
i
mpossibility
of
starting
the
engine
- you
m
ust
add
at
least
3.8
litres
(so
two
1.89 litre
bottles). If any additive is split or splashed, wash
immediately
w
ith
c
old
w
ater
o
r
w
ipe
w
ith
a
damp cloth.
If the additive has crystallised, clean it
off using a sponge and hot water.Important:
i
n the event of a top-up
after a breakdown because of a lack
of additive , you must wait around
5 minutes before switching on the
ig
nition,
w
ithout opening the
driver's door, locking the vehicle,
introducing the key into the ignition
switch, or introducing the key of the
"Keyless Entr y and Star ting" system
into the passenger compartment .
Switch on the ignition, then, after
10 seconds, start the engine.
Never dispose of AdBlue® additive
bottles
in
the
household
waste. Place

container provided
