Cruise control
System which automatically maintains the speed of the vehicle at the value programmed by the driver, without any action on the accelerator pedal.
The cruise control system cannot, in any  circumstances,  replace  the  need  to Â

bserve  speed  limits,  nor  can  it  replace  the Â
n
eed  for  vigilance  on  the  part  of  the  driver.
You
 are  advised  to  keep  your  feet  near  the Â
p
edals  at  all  times.

In the event of a fault with the system, the  symbol  in  the  button  (located  in Â

he  touch  screen  tablet)  changes  to Â

lert  mode  and  the  warning  lamp Â

lashes  and  then  goes  off.

Reinitialisation of the system is done in the the touch  screen  tablet,  with  the  ignition  on  and  the Â

Operating fault
The flashing and then fixed illumination of the u nder-inflation w arning lam p a ccompanied b

yres  is  no  longer  assured.

When the low fuel level is reached, t

 refuel  in  complete  safety:

ealing  of  the  fuel  system.
With Stop & Start, never refuel with the
system
 in  STOP  mode;  you  must  switch Â
o
ff  the  ignition  with  the  key.

Changing a wiper blade
F Within one  minute  after  switching  off  t
he  ignition,  operate  the  wiper  stalk  to Â

osition  the  wiper  blades  vertically  on  the Â

indscreen.
Removing
F Raise  the  corresponding  wiper  arm.
F  P ull  the  screenwash  delivery  pipe  to Â

isconnect  it  from  the  jet  (located  on  the Â

iper  blade).

Checking levels
Take care when working under the bonnet,  as  certain  areas  of  the  engine Â
m
ay  be  extremely  hot  (risk  of  burns) Â
a
nd  the  cooling  fan  could  start  at  any Â
t
ime  (even  with  the  ignition  off).
Engine oil level
The check is carried out either when the  ignition  is  switched  on  using  the Â
o
il  level  indicator  in  the  instrument Â
p
anel  for  vehicles  so  equipped,  or Â
u
sing  the  dipstick.
Checking using the dipstick
Check all of these levels regularly, in line with the manufacturer's service schedule. Top them up if necessary, unless other wise indicated.
I f  a  level  drops  significantly,  have  the  corresponding  system  checked  by  a  CITROËN  dealer  or  a  qualified  workshop.
If
 you  find  that  the  level  is  above  the  A  mark  or Â
belo
w the B Â mark, Â do not star t the engine.

To
 ensure  that  the  reading  is  correct, Â

our  vehicle  must  be  parked  on  a  level Â

It
 is  normal  to  top  up  the  oil  level  between Â
t
wo  services  (or  oil  changes).  CITROËN Â
r
ecommends  that  you  check  the  level,  and  top Â
u
p  if  necessary,  every  3  000  miles  (5  000  kms).The
 location  of  the  dipstick  is  shown  in  the Â
c
orresponding  underbonnet  layout  view.

ake  the  dipstick  by  its  coloured  grip  and Â

emove  it  completely.

ipe  the  end  of  the  dipstick  using  a  clean Â
n
on-fluffy  cloth.

efit  the  dipstick  and  push  fully  down,  then Â

ull  it  out  again  to  make  the  visual  check: Â

he  correct  level  is  between  the  marks  A
and
 B.
Oil grade
Before topping-up the oil or changing the oil, c
heck  that  the  oil  is  the  correct  grade  for  your Â
e
ngine  and  conforms  to  the  manufacturer's Â
r
ecommendations.

Engine oil change
Refer to the manufacturer's service schedule for  details  of  the  interval  for  this  operation.

 order  to  maintain  the  reliability  of  the  engine Â

nd  emission  control  system,  never  use Â

dditives  in  the  engine  oil. The
 brake  fluid  level  should  be  close  t
o  the  "MA X"  mark.  If  it  is  not,  check  t
he  brake  pad  wear.
