Touch screen tablet
The 7-inch touch screen tablet gives access to:
- t he heating/air conditioning controls,
-
m
enus for adjusting settings for vehicle
f
unctions and systems,
-
a
udio system and telephone controls and
the display of associated information,
and,
depending on equipment, allows:
-
t
he display of alert messages and the
v
isual
par
king
s
ensors
in
formation,
-
t
he permanent display of the time and the
ambient
temperature (a blue warning lamp
a
ppears when there is a risk of ice),
-
a
ccess to the controls for the navigation
s
ystem and Internet services, and the
display
of associated information.
For reasons of safety, the driver
should only carr y out operations
that require close attention, with the
vehicle stationary.
Some functions are not accessible
when
d
riving.General operation
Recommendations
Use is possible in all temperatures.
D o not use pointed objects on the touch screen
t
ablet.
Do
not touch the tablet screen with wet hands.
Uses a soft clean cloth to clean the tablet touch
screen.
Use this button to return to the

Use

Principles
Use the buttons on either side of the screen
for access to the menus, then press the virtual
buttons in the touch screen.
Certain functions may be displayed over 1 or
2
pages.

You can modify the appearance of the
instrument panel, by choosing:

Choosing the language
This depends on the setting in the touch screen tablet.
Certain
languages are not available for the type 2
i
nstrument panel; English is selected by default.Each mode corresponds to the type of
information
displayed in the configurable area.
Personalisation of the type 2 instrument panel
Choice of display mode
- "Dials":
permanent display of the trip c
omputer and rev counter.
Display zones
Whatever the display mode or colour scheme
chosen, the instrument panel contains:

fixed display zone A

he warning lamps,

essages.

configurable display zone B.
Most
of the warning lamps do not have a fixed

osition.
The
warning and indicator lamps are displayed

rom left to right in order of importance.
For certain functions that have indicator lamps
for
both on and off, there is just one dedicated
lo
cation.
Choosing the colour scheme
To modify it, with the vehicle stationary:

touch screen tablet,

hoose a colour scheme,

onfirm.
The
system restarts to take account of the

odifications to the touch screen tablet and the
instrument

Indicator and warning lamps
Certain warning lamps may come on in one of two modes: fixed (continuous) or
f
lashing.
Only
by relating the type of illumination
t
o the operation of the vehicle can it
be determined whether the situation is
normal
or a fault has occurred. In the
e
vent of a fault, the illumination of the
warning
lamp may be accompanied by
a
message.

the
existence
of
a
fault

lamp).When the ignition is switched on
Certain warning lamps come on for a few s
econds in the instrument panel when the
vehicle's
ignition is switched on.
When
the engine is started, these same
w
arning lamps should go off.
If
they remain on, before moving off, refer to the
i
nformation on the warning lamp concerned.
Associated warnings
The illumination of certain warning lamps may be accompanied by an audible signal and a
m
essage.
The
warning lamps may come on continuously
(
fixed) or flash.
