Normal locking using the key
Turn the key to the right in the
driver’s door lock to lock the ve-
hicle completely.
L o c k i n g i s c o n fi r m e d b y fi x e d l i g h t -
ing of the direction indicators for
a p p r o x i m a t e l y t w o s e c o n d s a n d b y
switching off of the courtesy lamp.
A c c o r d i n g t o v e r s i o n , t h e e x t e r i o r
mirrors fold at the same time. If one of the doors, the rear screen
or the boot is still open, the central
locking does not take place.
When the vehicle is locked, if it is
unlocked inadvertently, it will relock
automatically after thirty seconds
unless a door is opened.
When stationary with the engine
o f f , l o c k i n g i s c o n fi r m e d b y fl a s h i n g
of the interior locking control indi-
cator lamp.
The folding and unfolding of the
e x t e r i o r m i r r o r s u s i n g t h e r e m o t e
control can be deactivated by a
CITROËN dealer.
Deadlocking using the
remote control
Press the closed pad-
lock to lock the vehicle
completely or press the
closed padlock for more
than two seconds to
close the windows and
sunroof automatically in
addition to locking.
Press the closed padlock again

the vehicle.
Locking the vehicle
Normal locking using the remote
control
Press the closed pad-
lock to lock the vehicle
completely.
Press the closed padlock for
more than two seconds to close
the windows and sunroof auto-
matically in addition to locking. Deadlocking using the key
Turn the key to the right in the
driver's door lock to lock the ve-
hicle completely and hold it in
this position for more than two
seconds to close the windows
automatically in addition to locking.
Turn the key to the right again

the vehicle.

lighting of the direction indicators for
a p p r o x i m a t e l y t w o s e c o n d s .
A c c o r d i n g t o v e r s i o n , t h e e x t e r i o r
mirrors fold at the same time.
D e a d l o c k i n g r e n d e r s t h e e x t e r i o r a n d
interior door controls inoperative.
It also deactivates the manual central
control button.
When stationary with the engine
o f f , l o c k i n g i s c o n fi r m e d b y fl a s h i n g
of the indicator lamp on the interior
locking control.
If one of the doors or the boot is open
or has not been closed correctly, the
central locking will not work.
Therefore, never leave anyone inside
the vehicle when it is deadlocked.
