This is the normal oper-ating mode for the sys-tem. Depending on the level of comfort chosen, a press on this button, c o n fi r m e d b y l i g h t Acoming on, allows all of the follow-ing functions to be automatically and simultaneously controlled:
A i r fl o w .
Cabin temperature.
Air distribution.
Air conditioning.
Automatic air recirculation.
It is recommended to keep all the air vents open. Just by press-ing any of the buttons, except for temperature 1a and 1b, you can change to manual mode. The light A goes out.

Operating the air conditioning sys-tem on “AUTO” guarantees good ventilation inside the cabin.Note: The value indicated on the display corresponds to a comfort level and not to a temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Manual mode
One or more functions can be adjusted manually, while still retain-ing the other functions in automatic mode.
Press on any of the buttons, except for temperature 2a and 2b. Lights Aon buttons “AUTO” go out.
Changing to manual mode may result in a decrease in comfort level (temperature, humidity, smell, misting) and is not advised for opti-mum comfort.
To return to “AUTO” mode, press on buttons 1a and 1b. Lights Acome on.
3a-3b. Adjusting the air distribution
Press but-ton 3a to change the driver's side air fl o w d i s t r i b u -tion.

T h e a i r fl o w l e v e l i s i n d i c a t e d b y t h e progressive lighting of the ventilator blades.
B y r e d u c i n g t h e a i r fl o w t o i t s m i n i -mum setting, the air conditioning system switches itself off (OFF).
To prevent misting and poor air qual-ity in the passenger compartment, take c a r e t o m a i n t a i n a s u f fi c i e n t fl o w o f a i r .
4 . A d j u s t i n g t h e a i r fl o w
T h e a i r fl o w c a n o n l y b e a d j u s t e d with the engine running.

5. Air conditioning
Air conditioning only works with the engine running. The air blower button (air fl o w a d j u s t m e n t ) m u s t be activated to obtain air conditioning.Press on button 6. The warning lamp comes on. T o f u n c t i o n e f fi c i e n t l y , air conditioning should be used with the windows closed.
This button activates the recirculation of air in the passenger compart-ment and can function automatically.
6. Air recirculation – Entry of air from outside
Press button 3b to change the p a s s e n g e r ' s s i d e a i r fl o w d i s t r i -bution.
The symbol (arrows) correspond-ing to the chosen distribution lights up:Windscreen and front windows.Front air vents (central, side and soft diffusion grille if open) and rear air vents.
Front and rear footwells.
Note: You cannot select distribu-tion to the windscreen/front win-dows and to the front/rear air vents at the same time.

With the engine off, programmable heating preheats the coolant cir-cuit in order to optimise the engine operating temperature prior to starting.
The programmable heating sys-tem can be started immediately or delayed thanks to its programming function.
Digital programmer
The heating system’s programmer is located on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
1. Time or remaining functioning time.
2. Increase (time).
3. Select programme.
4. Programme number selected.
5. Immediate start-up of heating.
6. Time adjustment and reading warning lamp.
7. Reduce (time).
8. Heating mode warning lamp.
9 Programmable heating system warning lamp.
LED lit : Activated.
LED off : Deactivated.

Immediate start-up
Press button 5.
The screen displays a default duration of 60 minutes, you are advised to adjust this to a duration of 30 minutes maximum (see section “ adjusting the operating duration ”). The warning lamp 8 lights up and remains lit for the whole duration of the system’s operation. The duration of the system’s operation disappears after 10 seconds.
Stopping the heating
Press button 5.
The warning lamp 8 and the screen go out.
With the engine idle or the vehicle stationary, it is nor-mal to hear a high-pitched whistling noise and to notice some smoke / emis-sions.

Selection and activation of a programmed time
Press button 3 until the programme number corresponding to the required programmed time is dis-played. The chosen pre-selected time is automatically activated after 10 seconds if no other but-tons have been pressed.
T o c o n fi r m t h a t t h e m o d e i s a c t i -vated, symbols 4 and 8 fl a s h u n t i l the heating starts up.
When the heating starts up, the warning lamp 9 lights up on the dashboard and the programmer screen.

Adjusting the operating durationPress button 3 and hold it down. Press button 2 or 7 at the same time. Release button 3. The time and symbol 6 are displayed.Press again on button 3 and hold it down. Press button 2 or 7 at the same time. Release button 3. The operating duration and symbol 8 is displayed.Adjust the operating duration with button 2 or 7.
Note : The operating duration is memorised when the time indicated disappears or by pressing button 3.
Adjusting the remaining operating duration
When heating mode is activated, the remaining operating time can b e m o d i fi e d w i t h i n t h e r a n g e o f 1 0 to 60 minutes using buttons 2 or 7.
Note :The pre-selected start-up time c a n b e m o d i fi e d o r c a n c e l l e d b y following the instructions previ-ously given above.
In the event of a battery discon-nection, the programmer must be re-set (hours, minutes etc.)
Always switch off the additional heating when filling up with f u e l , t o p r e v e n t a n y r i s k o f fi r e or explosion.
To avoid any risk of intoxica-tion or asphyxiation, the addi-tional heating must not be used, even for short periods, in an enclosed area such as a garage or workshop not equipped with a system for the extraction of exhaust gases.
Do not park the vehicle over i n fl a m m a b l e m a t e r i a l s ( e . g . d r y grass, dead leaves or paper) as t h i s c o u l d p r e s e n t a fi r e r i s k .
The programmable heating sys-tem is supplied by the vehicle’s fuel tank. Before use, ensure that the remaining fuel level is s u f fi c i e n t . I f y o u a r e u s i n g t h e reserve fuel tank, we strongly advise you not to use the pro-grammable heating system.

The red light on button 3 should no longer be visible - if not, push the seat all the way back.
Pull control 3 forwards to unlock the backrest 2.Move the backrest 2.
P i n c h t h e s e a t c u s h i o n fi x i n g s t o remove them from their fasteners.
When repositioning:Fold the backrest 2 back up and lock it into place (the red light on button 3 should go out).Fold up the seat cushion 1.
Replace the head restraints if you had removed them.
Ensure that the front and rear back-rests are correctly locked in place.

Front passenger's airbag deactivation
In order to be able to use a rear-facing child seat in the front pas-senger's seat position, it is impera-tive to deactivate the passenger's airbag.
For that:With the ignition switched off, insert the key into the switch A.
Turn the key to the “OFF” posi-tion, the passenger's airbag is deactivated.With the ignition on, the front passenger's airbag deactiva-tion warning lamp lights up on the roof console display.
