Operating the alarm

Note:If you want to lock your vehicle without arming the alarm, just lock with the key only.If you lock your vehicle and a door, or the boot, is still open, the central locking does not operate but the alarm will arm itself after approx. 45 seconds.
Note: The siren is automatically deactivated (for example for dis-connecting the battery) as soon as the vehicle is unlocked using the remote control.

Delayed start-up
Note : Before programming the delayed start-up of the heating, you must ensure that the clock is set to the correct time.
P R O G R A M M A B L E H E A T I N G
Programming the start-up time
Start-up may be programmed between 1 minute and 24 hours in advance.
You can store up to 3 different start-up times, but programme only 1 delayed start-up time.
Factory settings A :
Time 1 : 06:00.
Time 2 : 16:00.
Time 3 : 22:00.
Note : The factory settings are replaced once you adjust them. The programmed times are stored until they are re-programmed.
Press button 3 then buttons 2 or 7 in the next 10 seconds, until the desired start-up time is displayed.
Note : In the event of a battery failure, the factory settings are restored.
Note : if you wish to recall the other stored times, press several times on button 3 in the next 10 seconds until the desired programme number is displayed.
Cancelling the programmed time
To cancel the programmed start-up t i m e , p r e s s b r i e fl y o n b u t t o n 3.
Setting the time
Hold button 3 down and press but-ton 2 or button 7. Release button 3, the time is displayed and symbol 6 fl a s h e s .
Use the two adjustment buttons 2(to go forward) or 7 (to go back) until the correct time is displayed.
Holding these buttons down will make the numbers displayed scroll more quickly.
Reading the time
Press button 2 or button 7 to dis-play the time.
When the heating mode is acti-vated, the remaining operating time is displayed in place of the time.

Selection and activation of a programmed time
Press button 3 until the programme number corresponding to the required programmed time is dis-played. The chosen pre-selected time is automatically activated after 10 seconds if no other but-tons have been pressed.

When the heating starts up, the warning lamp 9 lights up on the dashboard and the programmer screen.

Adjusting the operating durationPress button 3 and hold it down. Press button 2 or 7 at the same time. Release button 3. The time and symbol 6 are displayed.Press again on button 3 and hold it down. Press button 2 or 7 at the same time. Release button 3. The operating duration and symbol 8 is displayed.Adjust the operating duration with button 2 or 7.
Note : The operating duration is memorised when the time indicated disappears or by pressing button 3.
Adjusting the remaining operating duration
When heating mode is activated, the remaining operating time can b e m o d i fi e d w i t h i n t h e r a n g e o f 1 0 to 60 minutes using buttons 2 or 7.
Note :The pre-selected start-up time c a n b e m o d i fi e d o r c a n c e l l e d b y following the instructions previ-ously given above.
In the event of a battery discon-nection, the programmer must be re-set (hours, minutes etc.)
Always switch off the additional heating when filling up with f u e l , t o p r e v e n t a n y r i s k o f fi r e or explosion.
To avoid any risk of intoxica-tion or asphyxiation, the addi-tional heating must not be used, even for short periods, in an enclosed area such as a garage or workshop not equipped with a system for the extraction of exhaust gases.
Do not park the vehicle over i n fl a m m a b l e m a t e r i a l s ( e . g . d r y grass, dead leaves or paper) as t h i s c o u l d p r e s e n t a fi r e r i s k .
The programmable heating sys-tem is supplied by the vehicle’s fuel tank. Before use, ensure that the remaining fuel level is s u f fi c i e n t . I f y o u a r e u s i n g t h e reserve fuel tank, we strongly advise you not to use the pro-grammable heating system.

This device comprises a tinted glass panoramic surface 1 to improve brightness and vision in the passen-ger compartment.
I t i s fi t t e d w i t h a n e l e c t r i c a l b l i n d 2to help maintain a comfortable tem-perature.
Sequential opening Press control A.Pressing to the 1st notch allows you to open the panoramic sunroof step by step.Pressing to the 2nd notch allows you to fully open the panoramic sunroof.The panoramic sunroof stops in the clos- e s t p r e - d e fi n e d p o s i t i o n ( 1 1 p o s i t i o n s ) as soon as you release the control.
Sequential closing Press control B.The panoramic sunroof stops as soon as you release the control.
In the event of anything being caught when the panoramic sunroof is moving, you must reverse the movement of the panoramic sunroof. To do so, reverse the position of the control.
When the driver is operating the panoramic sunroof, he or she must always make sure that the passengers are not preventing it from closing properly.
The driver must ensure that his passengers are using th e panoramic sunroof correctly.
Pay special attention to children when operating the panor amic sunroof.
Anti-pinch If the panoramic sunroof meets an obstacle whilst closing, it stops and opens partially again.
You must re-initialise the anti-pinch function within 5 seconds of the panoramic sunroof stopping :
- Press control B until the panoramic sunroof is fully closed (closing in steps of a few centimetres).
Notes :
After a battery disconnection, or if there has been a malfunction, you have to re-initialise the anti-pinch function :
- press control A to the 2nd notch (fully open),
- wait until the panoramic sunroof is fully open,
- press control A for at least 3 seconds.
If the panoramic sunroof opens randomly during a closing operation, and straight after the panoramic sunroof stops :
- Press control B until it closes fully.
During these operations, the anti-pinch function does not operate.

D e a c t i v a t e t h e R D S f u n c t i o n i f t h e p h e -nomenon occurs too frequently and always on the same journey.
When the engine is not running, the radio stops after a few minutes.
W h e n t h e e n g i n e i s s w i t c h e d o f f , t h e w o r k -ing time for the radio depends on the battery charge. The interruption is normal: the radio goes into economy mode, cutting off in order to save the vehicle’s battery.
You have to start the engine so as to increase the battery charge.
The message “the audio system is overheating” appears on the screen.
In order to protect the audio equipment in excessive ambient temperatures, the radio goes into an automatic thermic protection mode which results in a reduction in sound volume or stopping of the CD player.
Switch off the audio system for a few minutes in order to allow the system to cool down.
