Operating the alarm
First make sure all the doors are closed.
T h e a l a r m i s a r m e d b y p r e s s i n g button C o n t h e r e m o t e c o n t r o l .
W i t h t h e a l a r m a r m e d , t h e p r o t e c - t i o n s a r e a c t i v e a f t e r 5 s e c o n d s ( p e r i m e t e r ) a n d 4 5 s e c o n d s ( v o l u - m e t r i c ) .

Deactivating the volumetric detection
Y o u c a n o p e r a t e t h e a l a r m w i t h p e r i m e t e r p r o t e c t i o n o n l y , b y d e a c - t i v a t i n g t h e v o l u m e t r i c p r o t e c t i o n ( i f f o r e x a m p l e y o u w i s h t o l e a v e a n a n i m a l i n t h e v e h i c l e ) .

Note: It is recommended to deacti-vate the volumetric detection when washing the vehicle in order to pre-vent the random triggering of the alarm.
Automatic activation ( d e p e n d i n g o n c o u n t r y )
T h e a l a r m i s a r m e d a u t o m a t i c a l l y , 2 m i n u t e s a f t e r t h e l a s t d o o r , o r t h e b o o t , h a s b e e n c l o s e d .
I n o r d e r t o p r e v e n t t h e a l a r m f r o m t r i g g e r i n g w h e n y o u o p e n o n e o f t h e d o o r s o r t h e b o o t , i t i s e s s e n - t i a l t o p r e s s t h e u n l o c k i n g b u t t o n B a g a i n o n t h e r e m o t e c o n t r o l .

Note:If you want to lock your vehicle without arming the alarm, just lock with the key only.If you lock your vehicle and a door, or the boot, is still open, the central locking does not operate but the alarm will arm itself after approx. 45 seconds.
Note: The siren is automatically deactivated (for example for dis-connecting the battery) as soon as the vehicle is unlocked using the remote control.

Starting the engine after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery
1. Turn the ignition key.
2. Wait approximately 1 minute before operating the starter in order to allow the electronic systems to re-initialise.
After the battery has been discon-nected for a lengthy period of time, it may be necessary to re-initialise the following functions:
The anti-pinch on the windows.
The parameters of the multi-function display (date, time, language etc).
The Radio stations.
The NaviDrive. See NaviDrive instructions.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IN ORDER TO USE THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM ?
You have to initialise the navigation system: w h e n y o u fi r s t u s e t h e n a v i g a t i o nfollowing a battery disconnection.Park the vehicle in the open air so that it can make contact with a satellite.Place the ignition key in the “Ignition” position for 15 minutes. I f t h e n a v i g a t i o n s y s t e m h a s d i f fi c u l t y i n receiving its GPS positioning from satel- l i t e s , t h i s m a y b e c a u s e d b y t h e p r e s e n c e o f b r i d g e s , u n d e r g r o u n d c a r p a r k s , e t c . , which may temporarily interfere with vehi-cle location or guidance calculation.
