3. T h e s t r a p , l i k e t h e h a n d l e , e n a b l e s you to remove the seat.
R e fi t t i n g t h e s i d e s e a t
Check that there is no obstacle o b s t r u c t i n g t h e s l i d e s o r preventing correct locking of the seat anchorages.
1. Place the front anchorages at the f r o n t s t o p i n t h e s l i d e s . S u p p o r t t h e s t r a p fi r m l y f o r e a s i e r p o s i t i o n i n g o f the seat.
2. T i l t t h e f o l d e d s e a t t o w a r d s t h e r e a r . The rear anchorages lock.
3. Raise the seat back.

The rear bench seat must only be fi t t e d i n r o w 3 .
Seat back folded position
1. P l a c e t h e h e a d r e s t r a i n t s i n t h e l o w position.
2. Pull the strap C u p w a r d s , f r o m t h e tailgate.
3. Tilt the seat back on the seat cushion.
Vertical position of the bench seat
1. P l a c e t h e h e a d r e s t r a i n t s i n t h e l o w position.
2. Pull the strap C u p w a r d s , f r o m t h e tailgate.
3. F o l d t h e s e a t b a c k o n t o t h e s e a t cushion .
4. Pull the lever D to unlock the rear anchorages.
5. Place the seat in the vertical " f o l d e d " p o s i t i o n .

FRONT AND REAR SIDE SEAT
BELTS
The front seats and the rear side seats
o f r o w 2 a r e fi t t e d w i t h p r e - t e n s i o n e r s
a n d f o r c e l i m i t e r s . The lap strap must be positioned as
l o w a s p o s s i b l e o n t h e p e l v i s . T h e
chest strap must pass over the hollow
o f t h e s h o u l d e r .
Check that the seat belt is fastened
c o r r e c t l y b y p u l l i n g t h e s t r a p . The force-limiting device reduces the
pressure of the seat belt against the
chest of the occupant, so increasing
h i s p r o t e c t i o n .
A bag placed on the front
passenger seat or a pet sitting on
this seat may trigger the lighting of
t h i s w a r n i n g l i g h t .
SEAT BELTS
Front seat belt warning light
If the driver and/or front
passenger has/have not
fastened his/their seat belt,
t h i s w a r n i n g l i g h t c o m e s o n .
Then, at a speed in excess of
approximately 15 mph (25 km/h), it
fl a s h e s a c c o m p a n i e d b y a n a u d i b l e
signal of increasing volume (for
approximately 90 seconds) and a
m e s s a g e o n t h e d i s p l a y .
Row 2 rear side seat belts
For your comfort, if you are not using
the seat belt, slide the seat belt loop to
the upper stop to prevent the tongue
f r o m v i b r a t i n g .
To adjust the height
- To lower the attachment point,
squeeze control and slide it
d o w n w a r d s .
- To raise the attachment point, slide c o n t r o l u p w a r d s .
To fasten
- Pull the strap, then insert the b u c k l e i n t o t h e s t a l k .
- Check that the seat belt is secured c o r r e c t l y b y p u l l i n g t h e s t r a p . Inertia reel seat belts

the event of an impact or emergency

Safety in the event of a frontal impact
has been improved by the introduction
of pre-tensioning and force-limiting
s e a t b e l t s . D e p e n d i n g o n t h e
seriousness of the impact, the pre-
tensioning system instantly tightens the
s e a t b e l t s fi r m l y a g a i n s t t h e b o d y o f t h e
o c c u p a n t .
The pre-tensioning seat belts are
a r m e d w h e n t h e i g n i t i o n i s o n .
