T h e a i r v e n t s d i r e c t e d t o w a r d s t h e fl o o r

H o w e v e r , i f t h e i n t e r i o r t e m p e r a t u r e
r e m a i n s h i g h a f t e r a p r o l o n g e d p e r i o d
p a r k e d i n t h e s u n , d o n o t h e s i t a t e t o
ventilate the passenger compartment
for a few minutes.

a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g , u s e t h e A U T O m o d e
as much as possible as it permits
o p t i m i s e d c o n t r o l o f a l l o f t h e f u n c t i o n s :

c o m f o r t t e m p e r a t u r e , a i r d i s t r i b u t i o n ,
a i r i n t a k e m o d e o r a i r r e c i r c u l a t i o n i n
the passenger compartment.

t h e v e n t i l a t i o n t o t h e w i n d s c r e e n a n d
s i d e w i n d o w s .

This is the normal air
c o n d i t i o n i n g o p e r a t i n g m o d e .
Refer to the beginning of the
" V e n t i l a t i o n " s e c t i o n o f c h a p t e r 7 .
T h e d r i v e r a n d f r o n t p a s s e n g e r c a n
e a c h a d j u s t t h e a i r t e m p e r a t u r e t o s u i t
their requirements.
T h e y c a n a l s o a c t i v a t e o r d i s a r m t h e
r e a r v e n t i l a t i o n a d j u s t m e n t c o n t r o l s . F o r y o u r c o m f o r t , t h e s e t t i n g s s e l e c t e d
w h e n t h e i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d o f f w i l l b e
r e t a i n e d w h e n i t i s s w i t c h e d o n a g a i n ,
if the temperature in the passenger
c o m p a r t m e n t h a s n o t c h a n g e d
s i g n i fi c a n t l y ; o t h e r w i s e , o p e r a t i o n w i l l
r e s u m e i n a u t o m a t i c m o d e .
- Press the
"AUTO" button.

W h e n t h e e n g i n e i s c o l d , i n o r d e r
t o p r e v e n t a r u s h o f c o l d a i r , t h e
ventilation will reach its optimum level
progressively.

3 - Passenger’s
temperature adjustment
T h e r e q u i r e d v a l u e i s d i s p l a y e d ( f r o m
1 4 t o 2 8 : c o m f o r t v a l u e = 2 1 ) .
T h e m a x i m u m d i f f e r e n c e b e t w e e n t h e
v a l u e d i s p l a y e d f o r t h e d r i v e r a n d f o r t h e
passenger may not be greater than 5.
I f y o u u s e t h e s e m a n u a l a d j u s t m e n t s ,
the AUTO symbol switches off.

T h e a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g 5 a n d t h e a i r
recirculation 4 come on.
Turn the knob away from the "MAX"
position when the ambient air suits
your requirements.
T h e a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g 5 remains on while
the air recirculation 4 switches off.
