Interior mood lightingThe dimmed passenger compartment lighting improves visibility in the vehicle when the lightÂ

Switching on
At night, the illumination of footwells and the central  dashboard  storage  compartment  comes Â
o
n  automatically  when  the  sidelamps  are Â
s
witched  on.
Switching off
The interior mood lighting switches off automatically  when  the  sidelamps  are Â
switched
 off.
It
 can  be  switched  off  manually  using  the Â
i
nstrument  panel  lighting  rheostat  button.

ith  the  lighting  on,  press  several  times  on Â
t
he  left  hand  button  of  the  instrument  panel Â
t
o  progressively  reduce  the  dashboard Â
l
ighting  level.
F
Â
P
ress  again  to  reduce  the  lighting  level Â
t
o  the  minimum  and  switch  off  the  interior Â
m
ood
 l
ighting. This
 comes  on  automatically  when  the  boot  is Â
o
pened  and  goes  off  automatically  when  the Â
b
oot  is  closed.
Boot lamp
The lighting time varies according to the c ircumstances:

hen  the  ignition  is  off,
 a
pproximately  ten minutes,

Â
i
n  energy  economy  mode,
 a
pproximately  thirty seconds,
-
Â
w
hen  the  engine  is  running,  no  limit.

Load reduction modeSystem which manages the use of certain functions  according  to  the  level  of  charge Â
r
emaining  in  the  battery.
When
 the  vehicle  is  being  driven,  the  load Â
r
eduction  function  temporarily  deactivates Â
c
ertain  functions,  such  as  the  air  conditioning, Â
t
he  heated  rear  screen...
The deactivated functions are reactivated
automatically
 as  soon  as  conditions  permit.Energy economy modeSystem which manages the period of use of certain functions to conserve a sufficient level of c
harge  in  the  battery.
After
 the  engine  has  stopped,  you  can  still  use  functions  such  as  the  audio  equipment,  windscreen Â
w
ipers,  dipped  beam  headlamps,  courtesy  lamps,  etc.  for  a  maximum  combined  period  of Â
t
hirty minutes. This
 period  may  be  greatly  reduced  if Â
t
he  battery  is  not  fully  charged.
A
 flat  battery  prevents  the  engine  from Â
s
tarting.
If
 the  telephone  is  being  used  at  the Â
s
ame  time,  it  will  be  interrupted  after Â
10
 m
inutes.
Switching to economy mode
Once this period has elapsed, a message appears  in  the  screen  indicating  that  the Â
v
ehicle  has  switched  to  economy  mode  and  the Â
a
ctive  functions  are  put  on  standby.
Exiting economy mode
These functions are reactivated automatically the  next  time  the  vehicle  is  driven.

n  order  to  resume  the  use  of  these Â
f
unctions  immediately,  start  the  engine  and Â
l
et  it  run  for  a  few  minutes.
The
 time  available  to  you  will  then  be  double Â
t
he  period  for  which  the  engine  is  left  running. Â

owever, this period will always be between
five
 and  thirty  minutes.
