5 seconds after the ignition is switched on, the distance recorder resumes its normal operation. The spanner remains lit.
The distance remaining may be weighted by the time factor, depending on the driver's driving habits.
Therefore, the spanner may also come on if you have exceeded the two year ser vice inter val.
Service indicator zero reset
After each ser vice, the ser vice indicator must be reset to zero. The procedure for resetting to zero is as follows: switch off the ignition, press and hold the trip distance recorder zero reset button, switch on the ignition; the distance recorder display begins a countdown, when the display indicates "=0" , release the button; the spanner disappears.
Following this operation, if you wish to disconnect the battery, lock the vehicle and wait at least five minutes for the zero reset to be taken into account.
Retrieving the service information
You can access the ser vice information at any time. Press the trip distance recorder zero reset button. The ser vice information is displayed for a few seconds, then disappears.
Service overdue
For 5 seconds after the ignition is switched on, the spanner flashes to indicate that the ser vice must be carried out as soon as possible. Example: the ser vice is overdue by 300 km. For 5 seconds after the ignition is switched on, the display indicates:

General points relating to child seats
Although one of CITROËN's main criteria when designing your vehicle, the safety of your children also depends on you.
CITROËN recommends that children should travel in the rear seats of your vehicle: - "rear wards-facing" up to the age of 2, - "forwards-facing" over the age of 2.
For maximum safety, please obser ve the following recommendations: - in accordance with European regulations, all children under the age of 12 or less than one and a half metres tall must travel in approved child seats suited to their weight , on seats fitted with a seat belt or ISOFIX mountings * , - statistically, the safest seats in your vehicle for carr ying children are the rear seats, - a child weighing less than 9 kg must travel in the "rear wards-facing" position both in the front and in the rear.

Installing ISOFIX child seats
ISOFIX mountings. In the case of the universal and semi-universal ISOFIX child seats, the child seat's ISOFIX size categor y, determined by a letter between A and G , is indicated on the child seat next to the ISOFIX logo.
IUF: seat suitable for the installation of an I sofix U niversal seat, " F or ward facing" and secured using the "Top Tether" up per strap. IL- SU: seat suitable for the installation an I sofix S emi- U niversal seat which is: - "rear facing" fitted with a "Top Tether" upper strap or a stay, - "for ward facing" fitted with a stay, For the securing of the "Top Tether" upper strap, ref er to the "Isofix Mountings" section. X: seat which is not suitable for the installation of an ISOFIX seat of the size category indicated.
