Operation indicator lamps
If one of the following indicator lamps comes on, this confirms that the corresponding system has come into operation.
W arning /indicator lampis on Cause Action / Observations
Left-hand
direction indicatorflashing with buzzer.The  lighting  stalk  is  pushed  down.
Right-hand
direction indicatorflashing with buzzer.The  lighting  stalk  is  pushed  up.
Sidelamps fixed. The
 lighting  stalk  is  in  the  "Sidelamps" Â

osition.

headlamps fixed.
The
 lighting  stalk  is  in  the  "Dipped Â

eam  headlamps"  position.
Main beam
headlamps fixed.
The
 lighting  stalk  is  pulled  towards Â

 the  stalk  to  return  to  dipped  beam  headlamps.
Front foglamps fixed. The
 front  foglamps  are  switched  on Â

sing  the  ring  on  the  lighting  control Â
st
alk. Turn
 the  ring  on  the  lighting  control  stalk  rear ward Â
t
wice  to  switch  off  the  front  foglamps.
Rear foglamps fixed. The
 rear  foglamps  are  on.Turn
 the  ring  on  the  stalk  rear ward  to  switch  off  the Â
r
ear
 fo
glamps.
Hazard warning
lamps
flashing

ignal. The
 hazard  warning  lamps  switch, Â

ocated  on  the  dashboard,  has  been Â

rated. The
 left-hand  and  right-hand  direction  indicators  and Â

heir  associated  indicator  lamps  flash  simultaneously.

Main lighting
Other lamps are installed to fulfil the requirements  of  particular  conditions  of Â

 rear  foglamp  to  be  seen  from  afar,

ront  foglamps  for  improved  vision,
-
Â
L
ED  lamps  to  be  seen  during  the  daytime.
Additional lighting
Various automatic lighting control modes are  also  available  according  to  the  following Â
op
tions:

Â
g
uide-me-home  lighting,
-
Â
a
utomatic  illumination  of  headlamps.
Programming
In some weather conditions (e.g. low temperature  or  humidity),  the  presence Â
o
f  misting  on  the  internal  sur face  of  the Â
g
lass  of  the  headlamps  and  rear  lamps Â
i
s  normal;  it  disappears  after  the  lamps Â
h
ave  been  on  for  a  few  minutes.

The temporary illumination of the dipped beam headlamps  after  the  vehicle's  ignition  has  been Â
s
witched  off  makes  the  driver's  exit  easier Â
w
hen  the  light  is  poor.
Switching on
F With the  ignition  off,  "flash"  the  headlamps  u
sing  the  lighting  stalk.

A
 further  "headlamp  flash"  switches  the Â
f
unction  off.
Switching off
The manual guide-me-home lighting switches off  automatically  after  a  set  time.
Manual guide-me-home
lighting
The sidelamps and dipped beam headlamps are  switched  on  automatically,  without  any Â
a
ction  on  the  part  of  the  driver,  when  a  low  level Â
o
f  external  light  is  detected  or  in  certain  cases Â
o
f  activation  of  the  windscreen  wipers.
As
 soon  as  the  brightness  returns  to  an Â
a
dequate  level  or  after  the  windscreen  wipers Â
a
re  switched  off,  these  lamps  are  switched  off Â
a
utomatically  and  the  daytime  running  lamps Â
c
ome  on.
Automatic illumination of
headlamps
Activation
F Turn  ring  to  the  "AUTO" position.  The  a
ctivation  of  the  function  is  confirmed  by Â
t
he  display  of  a  message.
deactivation
F Turn ring  to  a  position  other  than  "AUTO".  T
he  deactivation  of  the  function  is Â

onfirmed  by  the  display  of  a  message.
Operating fault
In the event of a fault with the
sunshine sensor,  the  lighting  come Â
o
n,  this  warning  lamp  is  displayed Â
o
n  the  instrument  panel  and/or  a Â
m
essage  appears  in  the  screen, Â
a
ccompanied  by  an  audible  signal.

LED daytime running lampsThis daytime lighting, a signature of the vehicle, comprises  two  sets  of  light-emitting  diodes Â
(
LEDs),  located  in  vertical  housings  below  each Â

eadlamp.
On
 starting  the  vehicle,  in  daylight  the  daytime Â
r
unning  lamps  come  on  automatically,  if  the Â
l
ighting  stalk  is  in  position  "0" or "AUTO" .
If
 the  sidelamps  and  headlamps  are  switched Â
o
n  manually  or  automatically,  the  daytime Â
r
unning  lamps  go  off.

When the automatic illumination of headlamps f unctions  is  activated,  if  the  ambient  light  level Â

Activation and deactivation, as well as the duration  of  the  guide-me-home  lighting  can  be Â

et  in  the  vehicle  configuration  menu  (except Â
f
or  the  monochrome  screen  A,  for  which  the Â
d
uration  is  fixed  at  60  seconds).
