Starting the engine
The presence of the "Keyless Entry and Starting"  electronic  key  in  the  recognition  zone Â

 e
ssential.
It
 is  not  necessary  to  place  the  electronic  key  in Â
t
he  back-up  reader.
If
 the  electronic  key  is  not  detected, Â
a
 message  is  displayed.  Move  the Â
e
lectronic  key  into  the  recognition  zone Â
s
o  that  the  engine  can  be  started.
In
 the  event  of  a  problem,  see  "Key  not Â
d
etected  /  Back-up  starting".

 button  while  maintaining Â

ressure  on  the  pedal  until  the Â

tarts.
If one of the starting conditions is not met,  a  reminder  message  appears  in  the i
nstrument  panel  screen.

 some  circumstances,  it  is  necessary Â

o  turn  the  steering  wheel  slightly  while Â

ressing  the  "START/STOP " button
to
 assist  unlocking  of  the  steering;  a Â
m
essage  warns  you  when  this  is  needed.
As a safety measure, never leave the vehicle  while  the  engine  is  running.

event  of  contact  with  the  skin,  wash Â

affected  area  with  soap  and  water.  In  the Â
e
vent
Â
of
 contact  with  the  eyes,  wash  (irrigate) Â

eyes  with  large  amounts  of  water  or  with Â
a

Â
eye
Â
wash  solution  for  at  least  15  minutes. Â

f
