AIR CONDITIONING
62 - 9
Cold air blowing device (DSAF)
Disconnect the climate maintenance blower
connector ( 11) (pull the red part towards arrow
A).
Di smount the attachment screws of the
steering wheel half-case and release from clips
detaching. Dismount the upper part dashboard and
release it from clips.
Dismount the radio-cassettes player. Disconnec t t he c entra l l ocking swi tch
connector (if the vehicle is provided with central
locking). Dismount the right air vent.
Dismount the DSAF attachment screws on
cowl panel and a ttachment screws on climate
maintenance box and release it.
Di smount the attachment screws ( 9) o f the
connection pipe ( 10) on the distributor of RACV
AC-ventilation air and release it.
REMOU NT I NG
Perform the dismounting operations in the
reverse order, taking into consideration that filter
reservoir is to be mounted the last. Fill the air conditioning unit with refrigerant
fluid HFC 134a (0,600 Kg).

DISMOUNTING
Dismount :
- dashboard (see chapter 57 );
- driving post cross beam (see chapter 42 );
- centra l console ( see chapter 58);
- distributor of t he air ventilation climate maintenance RACV ( see chapter 61);
- attaching scre w of the steering column support on the dri ving post cross-beam;
- pedals support ( see chapter 37);
- partially the floor carpet ( i n the noise absorbent coveri ng area).
Detach the noise absorbent (2 ) from the cowl panel clips (1).

ELECTRIC DIAGRAMS
89 - 2
The fuse box from the engine compartment is presented in Chapter 9, that contains information
about its location on the vehicle and the functional purpose of the relays and fuse placed on it.
The functional codes of the wires are detailed explained in Chapter 12. FUNCTIONAL DIAGRAMS INTERPRETATION
The functional diagram information included in Chapter 7 are to be i nterpreted taking i nto
consideration the explanation referring to the following example:
1= vehicle class
2= manufacturing year
3= functional electric diagram denomination
4= equipment differentiation criteria for identifying the functional electric diagram ˙
5= electric connector colour ˝
6= connector graphical representation
7= electric component index number
8= number of the fuse box on which the relay or safety fuse is m ounted
9= safety fuse identification on fuse box
10 = safety fuse value
11 = identification of wiring joints
12 = electric mass identification
13 = electric connection colour between wiring ˝
14 = electric connection identification
15 = electric connection graphical representation
16 = symbol, pages containing functional diagrams
17 = wire function code
18 = wire colour ˝
19 = functional diagram number
OBSERVATION:
1. The area ( 4) specifies the differentiating elements serving to the various functional diagrams
identification, considering the following symbols:
ABCO01 = driver’s airbag
CA = climate maintenance with air conditioning
CHAUFO = climate maintenance without air conditioning
CPE = Electric locking/unlock ing doors control
DA = assisted power steering
E0, E1, E2 = levels of equipment
