pistons
gudgeon
pins

connecting
rods
in
accordance
with
the
cylinder
numbers
Heat
the
piston
to
a
temperature
of

1400F
and
press
the
gudgeon
pin
in
by
hand
The
pistons
and
connecting
rods
must
be
assembled
as
shown
in
Fig
A

with
the
arrow
mark
on
the
head
of
the
piston
pointing
to
the
front
of
the
engine
Fit
new
clips
to
both
ends
of
the
gudgeon
pins
as
indicated
in
Fig

Fit
the
piston
rings
with
the
marks
facing
upwards

bearings
on
the
connecting
rods
and
caps
making
sure
that

backs
of
the
bearing
shells
are
perfectly
clean
