•Turning it clockwise (forward) by one click, while
playing a track, skips to the next track or push the
VR
button and say Next Track.
•Turning it counterclockwise (backward) by one click,
will jump to the previous track in the list or push the
VR
button and say Previous Track
•Jump backward in the current track by pushing and
holding the << RWbutton. Holding the << RW
button long enough will jump to the beginning of the
current track.
• Jump forward in the current track by pushing and
holding the FF>> button.
• A single push backward << RWor forward FF>> will
jump backward or forward respectively, for five sec-
onds.
• Use the << SEEKbutton during play mode to jump to
the start of the current track. Pushing the SEEK>>button during play mode will jump to the next track in
the list, or push the VR
button and say
Next or
Previous Track.
• While a track is playing, push the INFObutton to see
the associated metadata (artist, track title, album, etc.)
for that track. Pushing the INFObutton again jumps to
the next screen of data for that track. Once all screens
have been viewed, the last INFObutton push will go
back to the play mode screen on the radio.
• Pushing the REPEATbutton will change the audio
device mode to repeat the current playing track or
push the VR
button and say Repeat ONor
Repeat Off.
• Push the SHUFFLE button to play the selections on the
USB/iPod device in random order to provide an
interesting change of pace. To stop Shuffle Mode, push
the SHUFFLE button again. To turn SHUFFLEOn/Off

NOTE:Pressing this button while in Sync mode will
automatically exit Sync.
9. SYNC
Press the Sync button on the touchscreen to toggle the
Sync feature On/Off. The Sync indicator is illuminated
when this feature is enabled. Sync is used to synchronize
the passenger temperature setting with the driver tem-
perature setting. Changing the passenger temperature
setting while in Sync will automatically exit this feature.
10. Blower Control
Blower control is used to regulate the amount of air forced
through the climate system. There are seven blower speeds
available. Adjusting the blower will cause automatic mode
to switch to manual operation. The speeds can be selected
using either the blower control knob on the faceplate or
buttons on the touchscreens as follows:
Blower Control Knob On The Faceplate
The blower speed increases as you turn the control
clockwise from the lowest blower setting. The blower
speed decreases as you turn the blower control knob
counter-clockwise.
Button On The Touchscreen
Use the small blower icon to reduce the blower setting
and the large blower icon to increase the blower setting.
Blower can also be selected by pressing the blower bar
area between the icons.

2. If equipped with aluminum wheels where the centercap covers the wheel bolts, use the wheel bolt wrench
to pry the center cap off carefully before raising the
vehicle. 3. Before raising the vehicle, use the wheel bolt wrench
to loosen, but not remove, the wheel bolts on the
wheel with the flat tire. Turn the wheel bolts counter-
clockwise one turn while the wheel is still on the
ground.
4. Place the jack underneath the notched lift area that is closest to the flat tire. Turn the jack screw clockwise to
firmly engage the jack saddle with the lift area of the
sill flange, centering the jack saddle between the
locating notches on the sill flange.

NOTE:•For vehicles so equipped, do not attempt to install a
center cap or wheel cover on the compact spare.
• Refer to “Compact Spare Tire” and to “Limited-Use
Spare” under “Tires — General Information” in
“Starting and Operating” for additional warnings,
cautions, and information about the spare tire, its
use, and operation.
8. Install the wheel bolts with the threaded end of the wheel bolt toward the wheel. Lightly tighten the
wheel bolts.
WARNING!
To avoid the risk of forcing the vehicle off the jack,
do not fully tighten the wheel bolts until the vehicle
has been lowered. Failure to follow this warning may
result in serious injury. 9. Lower the vehicle to the ground by turning the jack
handle counterclockwise.
10. Finish tightening the wheel bolts. Push down on the wrench while at the end of the handle for increased
leverage. Tighten the wheel bolts in a star pattern
until each wheel bolt has been tightened twice. Refer
to “Torque Specifications” in this section for proper
lug bolt torque. If in doubt about the correct tight-
ness, have them checked with a torque wrench by
your authorized dealer or at a service station.
11. Lower the jack until it is free. Remove the wheel blocks. Reassemble the lug wrench to the jack assem-
bly and stow it in the spare tire area. Secure the
assembly using the means provided. Release the
parking brake before driving the vehicle.
12. Stow the jack and tools in the storage location and secure the flat tire in the trunk.

snapping the cover over the two wheel bolts. Do not
use a hammer or excessive force to install the cover.
4. Install the remaining wheel bolts and lightly tighten.

Road Tire Installation
1. Mount the road tire on the axle.
2. Install the remaining wheel bolts with the threadedend of the wheel bolt toward the wheel. Lightly
tighten the wheel bolts.

JUMP-STARTING PROCEDURES
If your vehicle has a discharged battery it can be jump-
started using a set of jumper cables and a battery in
another vehicle or by using a portable battery booster
pack. Jump-starting can be dangerous if done improperly
so please follow the procedures in this section carefully.

License Lamp
1. Remove the screws securing the lamp to the rear fascia.
2. Remove the bulb and socket assembly.
3. Disconnect the bulb from the socket assembly and install the replacement bulb.
