TRIP COMPUTERThe Trip Computer can be used to
display information on vehicle operation
when the key is turned to MAR.
This function comprises two separate
trips, called “Trip A” and “Trip B”, where
the vehicle's "complete missions"
(journeys) are monitored in a
reciprocally independent manner.
“Trip A”displays the following values:
"Outside temperature (for versions/
markets, where provided)", "Range",
"Distance travelled", "Average
consumption", "Instantaneous
consumption", "Average speed", "Trip
time (driving time)"
“Trip B”displays the following values:
"Distance travelled B", "Average
consumption B", "Average speed B",
"Trip time (driving time) B". The “Trip B”
function may be excluded.

❒fit the standard wheel inserting the 5
stud bolts into the holes;
❒press-fit the wheel cap, aligning the
special splining (on the cap) with the
inflation valve;
❒using the spanner provided, tighten
the fixing stud bolts;
❒lower the vehicle and remove the
jack;
❒using the spanner provided, fully
tighten the stud bolts in the sequence
shown previously.Versions with alloy wheels❒insert the wheel on the hub and using
the spanner provided tighten the stud
bolts;
❒lower the vehicle and remove the
jack;
❒using the spanner provided, fully
tighten the 5 stud bolts in the sequence
shown;❒reinstall the hub cap, taking care to
position the three plastic pins in the
dedicated seats on the wheel. Slightly
press the cap to prevent any damage
to the plastic pins.
IMPORTANT If it is not fitted properly,
the hub cap may detach itself when the
car is running.
After tyre replacement❒stow the space-saver wheel in the
compartment provided in the boot;
❒insert the jack and the other tools in
the container;
❒arrange the container and tools on
the space-saver wheel;
❒correctly reposition the boot stiff
cover.
WARNING
118)The space-saver wheel (for
versions/markets, where provided) is
specific to your vehicle, do not use it on
other models, or use the space-saver
wheel of other models on your vehicle. The
space-saver wheel must only be used in
the event of an emergency. It must only be
used for the distance necessary to reach
a service point and the vehicle speed must
not exceed 80 km/h. The space-saver
wheel has an orange label that
summarises the main cautions for use and
limitations. Never remove or cover the
label. The following information is provided
in four languages on the label: "Important!
For temporary use only! 80 km/h max!
Replace with a standard wheel as soon as
possible. Never cover this indication".
Never apply any hub cap to the
space-saver wheel.
119)Use your hazard lights, warning
triangle, etc to show that your vehicle is
stationary. Passengers should get out
of the vehicle, particularly if it is heavily
loaded, and wait for the wheel to be
changed away from the traffic. In the event
of a wheel change on a slope or on
unsurfaced roads, chock the wheels (see
the following pages).

"TOUCH SCREEN"
FUNCTIONThe system uses the "touch screen"
function; to interact with the different
functions, press the "graphic buttons"
displayed.
Confirmation of a selection: press
the "OK" button.
Going back to the previous screen:
press the
(Delete) button or,
depending on the activated screen,
/Done.
USB/iPod/AUX SUPPORTThe vehicle has a USB/AUX port
located in the centre tunnel.RADIO MODEAfter the desired radio station is
selected on the display (see fig. 164),
the following information is shown:At the top: the list of radio stations
stored (preset) is displayed; the station
being listened to is highlighted.
In the middle: display of the name of
the current radio station and the
buttons (
/
) for selecting the
previous or next radio station.
At the bottom: display of the following
buttons:
❒"Browse": list of the radio stations
available;
❒"AM/FM", "AM/DAB", "FM/DAB":
selection of the desired frequency band
(button reconfigurable according to
the band selected: AM, FM or DAB);
❒"Tune" : manual radio station tuning
(not available for DAB radios);
❒"Info": additional information on the
source being listened to;
❒"Audio": access to the "Audio
setting" screen.
Audio menuThe following adjustments can be
carried out using the "Audio" menu:
❒"Equalizer" (for versions/markets,
where provided);
❒"Balance/Fade" (left/right and
front/rear balance adjustment);
❒"Volume/Speed" (excluding versions
with Hi-Fi system) speed-dependent
automatic volume adjustment;❒"Loudness" (for versions/markets,
where provided);
❒"Auto-On Radio";
❒"Radio Off Delay".
MEDIA MODEWith Media mode active, briefly press
the

previous/next track or keep the

buttons pressed to fast rewind/
forward the track.
Track selection (Browse)NOTE For languages not supported by
the system which feature special
characters (e.g. Greek), the keyboard is
not available. In these cases this

TroubleshootingThe following problems may occur
during the update:
❒the map on the USB device is not
valid. In this case, download the map to
the USB device again, using TomTom
HOME. It may be necessary to prepare
the USB device again;
❒the version of the map on the USB
device is the same as or is a previous
version of the one already on the
system. If this occurs, download the
map to the USB device again, using
TomTom HOME. It may be necessary to
prepare the USB device again.VOICE COMMANDSNOTE For languages not supported by
the system, voice commands are not
available.
To use the voice commands, press the
button ("Voice" button) or("Phone" button) on the controls of
the steering wheel and give the
command you want to activate, out
loud.
