What it means What to do
amberDRIVING ADVISOR
The two warning lights on indicate that the system has
started recognising the operating conditions.
When the system recognises the operating conditions,
it becomes active, i.e. it can assist the driver with
visual and acoustic warnings. Therefore, the warning
lights switch off.
IMPORTANT If the operating conditions are no longer
present, the system is engaged but inactive, and
therefore the two warning lights on the panel switch
on.
When the system is active, if the vehicle gets close to
one of the side limit lines or one of the two
demarcation lines of the lane, the driver is warned with
an acoustic signal along with the direction warning
light (right or left) on the panel lighting up.
The system failure is indicated by the two direction
warning lights
andlighting on the display, along
with an acoustic signal and dedicated message.

amberTPMS SYSTEM
TPMS failure
The warning light flashes for about 75 seconds and
then stays on constantly (along with a dedicated
message on the display) to indicate that the system is
temporarily deactivated or faulty.In this case, contact a Fiat Dealership as soon as
possible
Tyre pressure low
The warning light turns on to indicate that the pressure
of one or more tyres is lower than the recommended
value and/or that slow pressure loss is occurring. In
these circumstances, optimal tyre duration and fuel
consumption may not be guaranteed.In this case it is advisable to restore the correct
pressure value.
IMPORTANT Do not continue driving with one or more
flat tyres as vehicle handling may be compromised.
Stop the vehicle, avoiding sharp braking and steering.
WARNING
48)The driving speed must always be suitable for traffic and weather conditions and the driver must always comply with the Highway Code.
The engine may be stopped if the DPF light is on; however, repeated interruption of the regeneration process may result in premature
deterioration of the engine oil. For this reason, always wait until the warning light switches off before stopping the engine as described above.
It is not advisable to complete DPF regeneration with the vehicle stationary.
WARNING
9)If, when the ignition key is turned to MAR, thewarning light does not switch on, switches on constantly or flashes when driving (on
certain versions together with the message on the display), contact a Fiat Dealership as soon as possible.
10)During regeneration, the fan could be operated.

The warning light switches on (together with a

"Exterior lights" in the "Knowing your vehicle" chapter).
greenLEFT DIRECTION INDICATOR
The warning light switches on when the direction
indicator control stalk is moved downwards or,
together with the right direction indicator, when the
hazard warning light button is pressed.
greenRIGHT DIRECTION INDICATOR
The warning light switches on when the direction
indicator control stalk is moved upwards or, together
with the left direction indicator, when the hazard
warning light button is pressed.
greenFOG LIGHTS
The warning light comes on when the front fog lights
are turned on.

greenCRUISE CONTROL

On turning the key to the MAR position, the warning
light on the display turns on, but it must turn off after a
few seconds if the Cruise Control is disabled.
The warning light is lit up on the display by turning the
Cruise Control selector wheel to ON or, according
to the versions. On certain versions a dedicated
message is displayed.
greenSPEED LIMITER

The warning light on the dial switches on when the
function is activated.

trailer direction indicators.The fault relating to these lights could be: one or more
blown bulbs, a blown protection fuse or a break in the
electrical connection.
LOW ENGINE OIL PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT
FAILURE
The symbol turns on to indicate a failure of the low
engine oil pressure warning light.Contact a Fiat Dealership.
BRAKE LIGHT FAILURE
(Versions with reconfigurable multifunction display)
The symbol switches on when a fault is detected in the
brake lights.The fault could be: one or more blown bulbs, a blown
protection fuse or a break in the electrical connection.
MAIN BEAM AUTOMATISM FAULT

The symbol switches on when a fault is detected in the
automatic switching-on system for the main beam
headlights.

POSSIBLE ICE ON ROAD
When the outside temperature reaches or falls below
3°C the outside temperature indication flashes to warn
the driver about the possible presence of ice on the
road.
The display will show the dedicated message (only for
versions with a multifunction display).
SPEED LIMIT EXCEEDED
The symbol switches on together with a dedicated
message when the vehicle exceeds the set speed limit
(see “Multifunction Display” in section “Knowing your
vehicle”).
SCHEDULED SERVICING
(for versions/markets, where provided)
The symbol switches on together with a dedicated
message next to the scheduled servicing warning and
stays on until the service deadline is reached. It
switches off after the service has been carried out at a
Fiat Dealership or once 1000 km have been covered
from the service deadline.
FUEL CUT-OFF DEVICE INERTIA SWITCH TRIPPED
(Versions with reconfigurable multifunction display)
This symbol on the display switches on when the fuel
cut-off device inertia switch has tripped.For the fuel cut-off inertia switch reactivation
procedure, refer to the "Electrical power supply and
fuel cut-off switch" section in the "Knowing your
vehicle" chapter. If it is still not possible to restore the
fuel supply, contact a Fiat Dealership.

dedicated message to indicate a failure of the Traffic
Sign Recognition.
LIMITED RANGE
The display shows a dedicated message to warn the
driver that the vehicle's range is less than 50 km.
ECOTURNING ON THE ECO FUNCTION
ECOis shown on the display with the "ECO" function
is turned on by pressing the corresponding button on
the dashboard. If the button is pressed again, the
wordECOturns off. On some versions, a dedicated
screen is displayed instead of the word "ECO".

LOW DIESEL EMISSIONS ADDITIVE (UREA) LEVEL
WARNING
The first low level warning is given at around 1,200
km range and is determined according to the current
consumption rate. The UREA low level warning light
and message for topping up are shown on the
instrument panel. The UREA low level warning light
remains lit until the UREA tank is topped up with at
least 3 litres of UREA.
If topping up is not executed, an additional warning
appears at the following km left until the UREA tank is
empty: 400 km, 320 km, 240 km.
When 200 km are remaining before the UREA tank
is empty, a continuous message appears on the
instrument panel accompanied by a buzzer sound.
When the range is 0 km, the display (for versions/
markets where provided) will show a dedicated
message. In this case, the vehicle speed is limited to
50 km/h and, after turning it off, it is not possible to
restart the vehicle.
It is possible to restart the engine again as soon as
the UREA is topped up (the minimum amount to be
added is 3 litres).
49)
Top up the UREA tank as soon as possible with at
least 3 litres of UREA. If topping up is done with
autonomy tank UREA to zero, you must wait 2 minutes
before starting the vehicle.
WATER IN DIESEL FILTER (Diesel versions)
The symbol switches on constantly when driving
(along with a message in the display), to indicate the
presence of water in the diesel filter.

49)When the urea tank is empty and the vehicle is stopped it is no longer possible to restart it until the urea tank is topped up with at least 3
litres of Urea.
WARNING
11)The presence of water in the fuel supply circuit may cause severe damage to the injection system and irregular engine operation. If thesymbol appears (on some versions together with the dedicated message on the display), contact a Fiat Dealership as soon as possible to
have the system bled. If the above indication occurs immediately after refuelling, water may have entered the tank: turn the engine off
immediately and contact a Fiat Dealership.
