INTRODUCTION
This chapter only describes the variants re-
garding the operation of the CD Changer
(for versions and markets where provid-
ed); as far as the operation of the radio is
concerned, refer to the description in the
“FUNCTIONS AND ADJUSTMENTS”
chapter.
Should the CD Changer prearrange-
ment be requested it will be provid-
ed with the necessary wiring for cor-
rect CD Changer Blaupunkt function.
Cable end will be easy to identify by
lifting the covering carpet in the boot
near the right wheel housing.POSSIBLE ERROR MESSAGES
Error messages are shown in the follow-
ing cases:
❒no CD loaded in the CD Changer: the
wording “NO CD” will appear on the
display until the listening source is
changed;
❒the selected CD cannot be read (the
CD is not in the selected position or it
has been loaded mistakenly): the display
will show the wording “CDC Disc er-
ror” after the number of the selected
CD. The next CD is then selected; if
there are no other CDs or they cannot
be read, the display will show the word-
ing “NO CD” until the listening source
is changed;
❒CD read error: on the display appears
the wording “CDC Disc Error”. The
next CD is then selected; if there are
no other CDs in the CD Changer (af-
ter the last CD the search begins again
from the first) or these also cannot be
read, the display will show the word-
ing “NO CD” until the listening source
is changed;
❒a CD-ROM is loaded: it will be select-
ed the next available CD. CD CHANGER SELECTION
Turn the radio on and briefly and repeat-
edly press the button CD until the “CD
CHANGER” function is selected.
CD SELECTION
Press the button ▲to select the next CD
or the button ▼to select the previous CD.
If there is no disc in the CD loader in the
selected position, the wording “NO CD”
will appear briefly on the display. The next
disc will then automatically be played.

GENERAL
Sound volume low
The Fader function should be adjusted to
the values “F” (front) only to prevent the
reduction in radio output power and the
cancelling of the volume if the Fader level
adjustment is R+9.
Source cannot be selected.
Nothing has been loaded. Load the CD or
the MP3 CD to listened to.CD PLAYER
The CD does not play
The CD is dirty. Clean the CD.
The CD is scratched. Try using another CD.
The CD cannot be loaded
A CD is already loaded. Press the button
˚and remove the CD.MP3 FILE READING
Skips tracks whilst playing MP3 files
The CD is scratched or dirty. Clean the
CD, referring to what is described in the
paragraph “CD” in the chapter “PRESEN-
TATION”.
The duration of the MP3 tracks
is not correctly displayed
In some cases (due to the recording
mode) the duration of the MP3 tracks can
be displayed incorrectly.
