LOADING
RECOMMENDATIONS
Fiat Panda VAN has been designed and ap-
proved for specific maximum weights:
❒curb weight;
❒maximum carrying capacity;
❒full weight;
❒maximum weight on front axle;
❒maximum weight on rear axle;
❒towable weight.Each of the above limits must be taken in-
to account and, in any case, must never be
exceeded.
Driving safety, comfort and the vehicle’s
life can be enhanced by simply following
the advice below:
❒place the load evenly on the loading
platform. If the load has to be placed on
one point only, place it on the area be-
tween the two axles;
In case of sudden braking or occasional bumps, the unexpected shifting of the load could
cause hazard situations both for the driver and passenger: before setting off, fasten the
load securely by means of the hooks provided; the load should be secured by means of
cables, ropes or belts of sufficient strenght to the weight of the goods to be secured.WARNING
❒do not forget that the lower the load is
placed, the lower the vehicle’s centre
of gravity falls, thus facilitating safe dri-
ving: for this reason, heavier objects
should be placed at the bottom;
❒do not forget that the vehicle’s dynam-
ic behaviour is affected by the loads be-
ing carried; in particular, braking dis-
tance increases, especially at high speed.
