How to turn the radio on and adjust the
volume

Press the ªPOWERº button to turn the radio on.
Press it again to turn it off.

Press the right (+) side of the ªVOLº button to
increase the volume. Press the left (S) side of
the button to decrease the volume.

If the volume is set above a certain level when
the ignition is turned off, the volume level will
reset to a ªnominalº listening level when the

There are four ways for you to tune in a
particular station. You can manually locate a
station, ªSEEKº to the next station, ªSCANº for
listenable stations, or select the station using the
memory preset buttons, which you can set to
any desired frequency.

You can change the frequency up or down
one increment at a time by first pressing the
mode button until ªMANº appears above the
frequency display. Then, press either the right

a) or left (

Adjusting speaker fader

Fade control allows you to adjust the sound
distribution between the front and rear speakers.
Push the ªSELECTº button repeatedly until the
display reads ªFADE.º Push the right (+) side of
the ªVOLº button to shift the sound to the front
speakers, and push the left (S) side to shift the
sound to the rear speakers.
