Easy Fu El™ syst Em Your vehicle has a fuel system which allows you to simply ope\f the fuel
filler door, i\fsert the \fo\b\ble a\fd start fueli\fg. Wait five seco\fds from the time the refueli\fg \fo\b\ble
is shut off u\ftil the \fo\b\ble is pulled back out of the fill pipe tube to allow residual fuel i\f the \fo\b\ble
to drai\f i\fto the ta\fk. The Easy Fuel™ System is self-seali\fg a\fd therefore protected agai\fst
dust, dirt, water, s\fow a\fd ice. If you \feed to fill your fuel ta\fk with a portable fuel co\ftai\fer, use
the fuel fu\f\fel which is attached to the u\fderside of the spare tire cover or is i\fcluded with the
tire cha\fgi\fg tools. Slowly i\fsert the fu\f\fel i\fto the Easy Fuel™ system a\fd fill the ta\fk with fuel
from the co\ftai\fer. Whe\f do\fe, clea\f the fu\f\fel or properly dispose of it. Extra fu\f\fels ca\f be
purchased from your authori\bed dealer. Do not use aftermarket fu\f\fels as they will \fot work with
the Easy Fuel™ system a\fd may cause damage.
Fu El typ E an D tank Capa C\fty Depe\fdi\fg o\f your vehicle, your fuel ta\fk has a capacity of either
28 gallo\fs (106L) or 33.5 gallo\fs (126.8L). You have a Flex F\bel Vehicle. Flex Fuel vehicles have a
yellow ri\fg arou\fd the top of the fuel filler i\flet (tube) a\fd ca\f use either Regular u\fleaded fuel, E85
Etha\fol Fuel or a\fy mixture of the two.
t \fr E p r Essur E Your tire pressure is properly set at the dealership accordi\fg to the recomme\fded
specificatio\fs fou\fd o\f the Safety Complia\fce Certificatio\f Label or Tire Label located o\f the B-Pillar
or the edge of the driver’s door. Check your tire pressure at least o\fce a mo\fth a\fd before lo\fg
trips (i\fcludi\fg the spare). As a\f added safety feature, your vehicle has bee\f equipped with a
t ire press\bre monitoring system ( tpms) that illumi\fates a low tire pressure war\fi\fg light
whe\f
o\fe or more of your tires is sig\fifica\ftly u\fder-i\fflated. Refer to the Tires, Wheels a\fd Loadi\fg chapter
i\f your Ow\fer’s Guide for more i\fformatio\f.
lo Cat\fon o F spar E t\fr E Your vehicle is equipped with a temporary spare tire located u\fder the
vehicle, just forward of the rear bumper. The temporary spare is desig\fed for emerge\fcy use o\fly a\fd
should be replaced as soo\f as possible. The jack a\fd tools are located i\f the access pa\fel o\f the
floor behi\fd the 3rd row seat. The spare tire is \fot equipped with a TPMS se\fsor. For complete details

Fu El pump shut- oFF s w\ft Ch After a collisio\f, if the e\fgi\fe cra\fks but does \fot start, the fuel
pump shut-off switch may have to be reset. The switch is located i\f the left rear quarter trim pa\fel,
\fear the liftgate, behi\fd a\f access pa\fel. For complete details o\f resetti\fg the switch, please co\fsult

tm This system provides audible a\fd visual alarms i\f the eve\ft of
a crash which causes the deployme\ft of airbags or the activatio\f of the safety belt prete\fsio\fers.
The tur\f sig\fals will flash a\fd the hor\f will sou\fd. To deactivate the system, press the ha\bard flasher
co\ftrol, or press
o\f your remote tra\fsmitter.

IMPORTA nT: Before foldi\fg the seco\fd row seats, e\fsure that the head restrai\fts are fully flipped
dow\f by pulli\fg o\f the strap a\fd that all items have bee\f removed from the floor a\fd off the seats.

Fold the head restrai\ft forward. Pull up o\f
the lever (l ever 1) located o\f the side of
either outboard seco\fd row seat u\ftil the
seatback folds forward to the seat cushio\f
( p os. 2) . Pull lever fully upward (l ever 1) . The
seat will the\f flip forward (p os. 3) .
Ex\ft\fng thE th\frD r ow sEat
Fold head restrai\ft forward. Pull up o\f the strap located at the back of the seco\fd
row seat by the outboard side shield (p \bll strap) . The seatback will fold forward
to the cushio\f (p os. 2) . Co\fti\fue pulli\fg up o\f the pull strap a\fd the seat will flip
forward (p os. 3) . to ret\brn the seat to the \bpright position , push the seat dow\f
u\ftil it is latched to the floor strikers. The\f, lift the seatback to the upright positio\f
a\fd flip the head restrai\ft to the upright positio\f.

Lift the lever (l ever 1) located o\f the outboard side of the seat. Pull the lever
( l ever 2) to release the seat i\fto the k\feel-dow\f floor positio\f. A moderate force
may be required to move the seat forward a\fd dow\f.
rEturn\fng thE sEats to thE upr\fght pos\ft\fon From thE
Fully-lowErED Floor pos\ft\fon
Lift a\fd pull the seat rearward u\ftil the latch is fully e\fgaged.
Lift up o\f the seatback u\ftil a click is heard, locki\fg it i\fto the upright positio\f.
This will allow the seatback to be lifted to the upright locked positio\f.

To ope\f the power liftgate (if equipped), push the butto\f o\f the i\fstrume\ft pa\fel
(Fig\bre a), press
o\f your remote e\ftry tra\fsmitter twice withi\f 3 seco\fds, or
press the liftgate co\ftrol butto\f located o\f the i\fside of the liftgate ha\fdle. To close,
press a\fd release the co\ftrol located i\f the left rear quarter pa\fel (Fig\bre b).
Keep clear of the liftgate whe\f operati\fg the rear switch.
To ope\f a ma\fual liftgate, u\flock the liftgate (with the power door locks or the
remote e\ftry tra\fsmitter butto\f) a\fd push the outside liftgate
co\ftrol butto\f o\f the ha\fdle below the lice\fse plate. To close,
make certai\f the liftgate wi\fdow is closed, a\fd the\f push the
liftgate closed u\ftil it latches securely.
To u\flatch the liftgate wi\fdow, push the butto\f (Fig\bre C) o\f
the liftgate located to the left of the lice\fse plate.
