We recommend Motorcraft replacement parts available at your Ford dealer or atfordparts.com for scheduled maintenance. These parts meet or exceed Ford MotorCompany’s specifications and are engineered for your vehicle. Use of other parts mayimpact vehicle performance, emissions and durability. Your warranty may be void for anydamage related to use of other parts.
If a Motorcraft oil filter is not available, use an oil filter that meets industry performancespecification SAE/USCAR-36.
For spark plug replacement, contact an authorized dealer. Replace the spark plugs at theappropriate intervals.

BASE WARRANTY
The Focus ST carries the same warrantyas other Ford Focus models. Thisinformation is covered in its entirety in thewarranty information.
You can obtain warranty service for yourST vehicle or any ST vehicle at any Forddealer nationwide.
Ford Global Performance does notrecommend modifying or racing ST, SVTor RS vehicles, as they are designed andbuilt to be driven as delivered from thefactory. The warranty informationdiscusses vehicle usage and theinstallation of aftermarket parts and theireffect on warranty coverage.
In the event the vehicle is intended for trackuse, and the loss of warranty coverage isnot of concern, the following vehicledurability actions are required:
•Perform multi-point inspection and themaintenance outlined in the 150000 mi(240,000 km) normal maintenanceschedule of the scheduledmaintenance before and after trackuse. See the vehicle service manual forremoval and installation procedures.
•Replace with Genuine Ford andMotorcraft service parts as needed.
These actions may not necessarily protectyour vehicle from damage in competitionconditions. Subjecting your vehicle tocompetition conditions even with thisrecommended action may render repairsnon-reimbursable under the warranty.
