This philosophy is expressed in thisvehicle through a sophisticated powertrain,outstanding chassis dynamics andsignificant interior and exteriorenhancements.
We have created this supplement to helpyou get to know the unique features of yourFord Performance vehicle. It only containsthe instructions for the unique features ofthe Ford Performance vehicle and is not asubstitute for the Owner's Manual. Youmust read the full instructions in theOwner's Manual. The more that you knowabout your vehicle, the greater the safetyand pleasure you will get from driving it.

SVT
The Special Vehicle Team (SVT) wasestablished in 1991 to polish the Ford Ovalby creating low-volume, factory-producedvehicles designed for people whose ideaof driving is a high-powered, passionateexperience - not just a means of gettingfrom A to B.
To support such spirited enthusiasm, wecarefully integrated the wide array of talentin the company into a small,cross-functional group of engineers andproduct planners and located them underone roof with a common mission to createvehicles specifically designed to meet theunique needs and desires of the drivingenthusiast.
We produced more than 250,000 SVTvehicles since 1993 model year includingthe SVT Mustang Cobra and the Cobra R,the SVT F-150 Lightning, the SVT Contour,the SVT Focus, Ford GT, Shelby GT500,GT500KR and the F-150 SVT Raptor.
TEAM RS
Team RS traces its roots back nearly 60years from the Lotus Cortina and TwinCam Escorts of the mid-1960s, throughthe first RS branded Escorts of the 1970sto the founding of Special VehicleEngineering (SVE) in 1980. Through the1980s and 90s, SVE delivered a breadthof vehicles from exciting XR and RSbranded road going performance carsthrough homologation specials includingthe iconic Sierra Cosworth RS500 andRS200. The first ST vehicle appeared in1996 as the ST24 Mondeo. The firstcollaboration between our European and
