SWITCHING GLOBAL OPENING ONAND OFF
1.
Press the button on thetouchscreen.
2.Press Vehicle.
3.Press Windows.
4.Switch Remote Open on or off.
USING GLOBAL CLOSING
WARNING: When closing thepower windows, verify they are free ofobstruction and make sure that childrenand pets are not in the proximity of thewindow openings.
1.Press and hold the lock button on theremote control.
2.Release the button when the windowsstart to close.
Press the lock or the unlock button on theremote control to stop global closing.
Note:Bounce-back is on during globalclosing. See What Is WindowBounce-Back (page 120).

WINDOW BOUNCE-BACK
WHAT IS WINDOW BOUNCE-BACK
The window stops and reverses if it detectsan obstruction when closing.
OVERRIDING WINDOW BOUNCE-BACK
WARNING: If you overridebounce-back, the window does notreverse if it detects an obstacle. Takecare when closing the windows to avoidpersonal injury or damage to yourvehicle.
1.Close the window until it reaches thepoint of resistance and let it reverse.
2.Lift and hold the window control switchwithin two seconds to overridebounce-back and close the window.Bounce-back is now disabled and youcan close the window manually.
Note:The window goes past the point ofresistance and you can fully close it.
Note:If the window does not close, haveyour vehicle checked as soon as possible.
LOCKING THE REAR WINDOW
CONTROLS
When the rear window lock/child safetylock switch is engaged, the windowswitches mounted on the rear door panelsare deactivated.

The control is on the driver door. It enablesboth the rear window locks and the childsafety locks.
Press the control to switch the rear windowlocks and child safety locks on. Press thecontrol again to switch them off. A light onthe control illuminates when you switchthem on.
The rear window lock and child locksettings remain active when you switch offyour vehicle.

PRECAUTIONS
WARNING: Do not adjust themirrors when your vehicle is moving. Thiscould result in the loss of control of yourvehicle, serious personal injury or death.
Note:Do not clean the mirror housing orglass with harsh abrasives, fuel or otherpetroleum-based cleaning products.
AUTO-DIMMING INTERIOR
MIRROR
WHAT IS THE AUTO-DIMMINGINTERIOR MIRROR
The mirror dims to reduce the effect ofbright light from behind. It returns tonormal when the bright light from behindis no longer present or if you shift intoreverse (R).
AUTO-DIMMING INTERIORMIRROR LIMITATIONS
Do not block the sensors on the front andback of the mirror.
Note:A rear center passenger or raised rearcenter head restraint could prevent lightfrom reaching the sensor.

To adjust the mirrors, switch your vehicleon, with the push button start in accessorymode or your vehicle running.
1.Select the mirror you want to adjust.The control light turns on.
2.Use the adjustment control to adjustthe position of the mirror.
3.Press the mirror control again. Thecontrol light turns off.
FOLDING THE EXTERIOR
MIRRORS - VEHICLES WITH:
POWER FOLDING MIRRORS
Power-Folding Mirrors (If Equipped)
To fold both mirrors, switch your vehicleon, with the push button start in accessorymode or your vehicle running.
For tight parking conditions,press the control switch to foldthe mirrors.
Press the control switch again to unfoldthe mirrors.
Note:Do not stop the mirrors midwaythrough their movement. Wait until themirrors stop moving and press the controlagain.
Note:The left-hand and right-hand mirrorsmove at different rates. For example, onemirror may stop when the other onecontinues to move. This is normal. Movingthe mirrors 10 or more times within oneminute, or repeated folding and unfoldingof the mirrors when holding the controldown during full travel, may disable thesystem to protect the motors fromoverheating. Wait approximately threeminutes with your vehicle running, and upto 10 minutes with your vehicle off, for thesystem to reset and operate as normal.
Loose Mirror
If the power-folding mirrors are manuallyfolded, they may not properly work evenafter you re-position them. You need toreset them if:
•The mirrors vibrate when you drive.
•The mirrors feel loose.
•The mirrors do not stay in the folded orunfolded position.
•One of the mirrors is not in its normaldriving position.

at 80% displays followed by the time at100%. You can modify your vehicle chargesettings on the information andentertainment display. See Setting theCharging Schedule and Preferences(page 184).
Charge Required to Reach Destination
When the navigation system has an activeroute, the instrument cluster displays thecharge level required in order to reach yourdestination and the time when that chargelevel is available.
WHAT ARE THE INSTRUMENT
CLUSTER WARNING LAMPS
Warning lamps alert you to a vehiclecondition that could become serious.Some lamps illuminate when you startyour vehicle to make sure they work. If anylamps remain on after starting your vehicle,refer to the respective system warninglamp for further information.
INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
WARNING LAMPS
12V Battery
Illuminates when your vehicle isfirst switched on to show it isproperly functioning.
If it illuminates when the motor is running,this indicates your vehicle requires service.Have your vehicle checked as soon aspossible.
Driving when this warning lamp is on drainsthe 12V battery. If you must drive with thislight on, turn off all accessories.
Anti-Lock Brake System
If it illuminates when you aredriving, this indicates the systemrequires service. Your vehiclecontinues to have normal braking withoutthe anti-lock brake system function. Haveyour vehicle checked as soon as possible.
Brake System
Illuminates when you apply theparking brake and your vehicle ison. If it illuminates when yourvehicle is moving, make sure theparking brake is released. If theparking brake is released, thisindicates low brake fluid level or the brakesystem requires service. Have your vehiclechecked as soon as possible.
Note:Lamps may vary depending on region.
Door Ajar
Illuminates when your vehicle ison and any door is open.
Electric Parking Brake
Illuminates or flashes yellowwhen the electric parking brakerequires service.
Electric Motor CoolantTemperature
If it illuminates, safely stop yourvehicle and switch your vehicleoff.
Fasten Seatbelt
Illuminates and a tone soundsuntil you fasten the seatbelts.

•Bend your legs slightly so that you canpress the pedals fully.
•Position the shoulder strap of theseatbelt over the center of yourshoulder and position the lap straptightly across your hips.
Make sure that your driving position iscomfortable and that you can maintain fullcontrol of your vehicle.

ADJUSTING THE HEADRESTRAINT
4-Way Head Restraints
WARNING: Fully adjust the headrestraint before you sit in or operate yourvehicle. This will help minimize the riskof neck injury in the event of a crash. Donot adjust the head restraint when yourvehicle is moving.
WARNING: The head restraint is asafety device. Whenever possible itshould be installed and properlyadjusted when the seat is occupied.Failure to adjust the head restraintproperly could reduce its effectivenessduring certain impacts.
WARNING: Adjust the headrestraints for all passengers before youdrive your vehicle. This will help minimizethe risk of neck injury in the event of acrash. Do not adjust the head restraintswhen your vehicle is moving.
Note:Adjust the seat backrest to an uprightdriving position before adjusting the headrestraint. Adjust the head restraint so thatthe top of it is level with the top of yourhead. Make sure that you remaincomfortable. If you are tall, adjust the headrestraint to its highest position.
Pull the head restraint up to raise it.
To lower the head restraint:
1.Press and hold the adjust and releasebutton.
2.Push the head restraint down.
The head restraints may tilt for extracomfort. To tilt the head restraint:

1.Adjust the seat backrest to an uprightdriving or riding position.
2.Pivot the head restraint forward towardyour head to the preferred position.
After the head restraint reaches theforward-most tilt position, pivot it forwardagain to release it to the rearward, untiltedposition.
Note:Do not attempt to force the headrestraint backward after it is tilted. Instead,continue tilting it forward until the headrestraint releases to the upright position.
REMOVING THE HEAD RESTRAINT
1.Pull up the head restraint until itreaches its highest position.
2.Press and hold the adjust and releasebutton and the unlock and removebutton - if equipped.
3.Pull up the head restraint.
INSTALLING THE HEADRESTRAINT
Align the steel stems into the guide sleevesand push the head restraint down until itlocks.
MOVING THE SEAT BACKWARDAND FORWARD
WARNING: Make sure the seat fullylocks into place by rocking it backwardand forward. Not securing the seat intothe locked position can be dangerous ina crash and could cause serious personalinjury or death.
ADJUSTING THE SEAT BACKREST
WARNING: Do not place cargo orany objects behind the seatback beforereturning it to the original position.
WARNING: Reclining the seatbackcan cause an occupant to slide under theseat's seatbelt, resulting in severepersonal injuries in the event of a crash.

HEATED SEATS (IF EQUIPPED)
HEATED SEAT PRECAUTIONS
WARNING: Use caution when usingthe heated seat if you are unable to feelpain to your skin because of advancedage, chronic illness, diabetes, spinal cordinjury, medication, alcohol use,exhaustion or other physical conditions.The heated seat could cause burns evenat low temperatures, especially if usedfor long periods of time. Failure to followthis instruction could result in personalinjury.
WARNING: Do not poke sharpobjects into the seat cushion or seatbackrest. This could damage the heatedseat element and cause it to overheat.Failure to follow this instruction couldresult in personal injury.
WARNING: Do not place anythingon the seat that blocks the heat, forexample a seat cover or a cushion. Thiscould cause the seat to overheat. Failureto follow this instruction could result inpersonal injury.
Do not:
•Place heavy objects on the seat.
•Operate the heated seat if water or anyother liquid spills on the seat. Allow theseat to dry.
SWITCHING THE HEATED SEATSON AND OFF
The vehicle must be on to use this feature.
Press the heated seat symbol, then selectyour preferred heat level or off. The moreindicators that display, the warmer thetemperature of the seat.
Note:Based on your remote start settings,the heated seats may remain on after youremote start your vehicle. The heated seatsmay also turn on when you start your vehicleif they were on when you switched yourvehicle off.
Automatic Heated Seats (If Equipped)
When you switch on the auto setting, theheated seats switch on to match yourclimate control setting.
