Making Phone Calls
hanging up calls
1. To finish a phone conversation, press [ End] on the screen or [W] button on the steering
wheel remote control.
2. The phone is hung up.

䠐To control the mic volume during a phone conversation, press [Outgoing Volume].
䠐To cut the sound delivered to the other party during a phone conversation, press [Mic
Off].
䠐To open dial pad during a phone conversation, press [Keypad].

1. Press [Setup] > [Bluetooth] > [Bluetooth Connections] on the home screen. Bluetooth
settings screen opens.
2. For more details, refer to the "Device Connection settings".

Pressing [a] on the dial pad also opens Bluetooth setting screen.

seTTing ouTgoing Volume
Sets outgoing volume for phone conversations.
1. Press [Outgoing Volume] during a phone conversation.
2. Drag and touch to adjust outgoing volume.
seTTing mic on/off
Cuts the sound delivered to the other party during a phone conversation.
1. Press [Mic Off] during a phone conversation.
2. To turn mic on again, press [Mic On].

Mic can be turned on/off during a phone conversation by pressing [f] button on the
steering wheel remote control.

Sound settings
guidance
It adjusts navigation volume.
1. On the sound settings screen, press [Guidance].
2. Select the desired items.
䠐[Navigation Volume]: Adjust the volume using the Volume buttons on the map screen or
by turning the voulume controller when navigation guidance is playing.
䠐[Driving Safety Priority]: Lowers all other audio volumes when a driving safety system
sounds a warning.
䠐[Parking Safety Priority]: Lowers all other audio volumes when a parking assist view is
active.
䠐[Navigation Volume Priority]: Lowers all other audio volumes when navigation prompts
are playing.
䠐[Navigation During Calls]: Plays audio navigation guidance during phone calls.
䠐[Mute Navigation Guidance]: While navigation guidance is playing, pressing the mute
button on the steering wheel will mute guidance for 10 seconds.

[Seat Heater Balance].
䠐[Seating Easy Access]: Sets [Steering Wheel Easy Access], [Driver Seat Easy Access],
[Passenger Seat Easy Access].
䠐[Ergo-Motion Seat]: Sets [Comfortable Stretch], [Alertness Assist], [Posture Assist],
[Smart Support].

䠐All the sounds will not be output while the voice memo is operating.
䠐Voice memo pauses when you receive a Bluetooth phone call while the voice memo is
operating.
䠐It is located at the top of the voice memo list in the form of 'VoiceMemo0001 ~
VoiceMemo6000'.
䠐When the storage space is full during a voice memo, the voice memo is automatically
saved and ends.

sTar Ting V oice recogniTion
1. Press the [i] button on the steering wheel remote control.
2. Say the desired voice command after the beep sound.
,noTe
䠐For proper recognition, please say the command after the voice instruction and beep
sound.
䠐When starting voice recognition, the voice command entry window with four
representative commands is displayed.
䠐If voice recognition is in [Beginner], then the system will provide the detailed voice
recognition guidance. If voice recognition is in [Standard], then the system will provide
the simple version of voice recognition guidance. If voice recognition is in [Expert], then
you will only hear a beep.
sKipping prompT messages
While a prompt is playing, press the [i] button on the steering wheel remote control quickly.
The prompt is immediately ended and a beep will sound.
After the beep, please say the voice command.
re-s Tar Ting V oice recogniTion
While the system waits for input, press the [i] button on the steering wheel remote control
quickly.
The beep tone will sound, indicating the system is listening for a new input.
Say a voice command.
ending Voice recogniTion
䠐While voice recognition is operating, press and hold the [i ] button on the steering wheel
remote control, or say "Exit".
䠐While using voice recognition, pressing other button except on the steering wheel remote
control or a different button on head unit will end voice recognition.

While voice recognition is operating, turn [:/VOL] the wheel up/down on the front seat
control key or press [J/I] on the steering wheel remote control.
