Getting to Know Your GMC Savana/Chevrolet Express14
The following windshield wiper functions
are located on the turn signal/multifunc-
tion lever:
(Mist):For a single wipe, twist the
band down to this position and release.
For additional wipes, hold the band at
this position.
(Off):Twist the band to this position
to turn off the wipers.
(Delay):Twist the band up to set the
delay time between wipes. The
wipers activate more often as the band
is rotated upward.
(Low):Twist the band up to this
position for steady wiping at low speed.
(High):Twist the band up to this
position for rapid wiping at high speed.
(Washer):To spray washer fluid,
turn the paddle at the top of the turn
signal/multifunction lever toward the
windshield and release. There will be a
slight delay before the wipers are acti-
vated. This is normal and allows the
washer to clean the entire windshield.

Outside Power Mirrors
(if equipped)
The outside power mirrors control is
located on the driver’s door. Turn the
knob to select the desired mirror, and
then move the knob in the desired
direction to adjust the mirror angle.
The lower convex (spotter) mirror (if
equipped) can be adjusted manually
to provide a better viewing angle.

The front swing-out side door has a
check strap in the doorframe to keep the
door from opening beyond 90 degrees.
To open the door beyond 90 degrees:
1. Close the door partially.
2. Pull the check strap toward you.
3. Open the door.
Use care not to overextend the door
when the check strap is not engaged.
When the door is closed, the check
strap will automatically re-engage.
