● Park in a safe place and repair the flat tire
using the temporary tire repair kit.
● Park in a safe place and replace the flat
tire with the compact spare tire in the
cargo area.

Locking and Unlocking the Doors
Key Types and Functions
This vehicle comes with the following keys:Use the key to start and stop the engine, and
to lock and unlock all the doors and hatch.
You can also use the remote transmitter to
lock and unlock the doors and hatch.
Contains a number that you will need if you
purchase a replacement key.

All of the keys have an immobilizer system. The
immobilizer system helps to protect against vehicle

The keys contain precision electronics.
Adhere to the following advice to prevent damage to
the electronics:
• Do not leave the keys in direct sunlight, or in
locations with high temperature or high humidity.
• Do not drop the keys or set heavy objects on them.
• Keep the keys away from liquids.
• Do not take the keys apa rt except for replacing the
battery.
If the circuits in the keys are damaged, the engine
may not start, and the re mote transmitter may not
work.
If the keys do not work properly, have them
inspected by a dealer.

Keep the key number tag separate from the key in a
safe place outside of your vehicle.
If you wish to purchase an additional key, contact a

Fuses
Fuse Locations
If any electrical devices are not working,
turn the ignition switch to LOCK
(0
and
check to see if any applicable fuse is blown. Located near the + terminal on the 12 volt
battery.
Fuse locations are shown on the fuse box
cover.
Locate the fuse in question by the fuse
number and box cover number.■Engine Compartment Fuse Box
Fuse Box 1.
Pull on the tab to release the front of the
cover.
2. Pull up the cover by pushing the two tabs as shown.
Replacement of engine compartment
fuses should be done by a dealer.
