Turnthekeyclockwiseagain,and
hold it. All f our windows start to
open. To stop the windows,
release the key.
To close: Insert the key in the driver’s door
lock.
Turn the key counterclockwise,
then release it.
Turn the key counterclockwise
again, and hold it. All four
windowsstarttoclose.Tostopthe
windows, release the key. To open the windows further, turn
andholdthekeyagain(within
10 seconds of step 2).
To close the windows further, turn
andholdthekeyagain(within
10 seconds of step 2). If the windows stop bef ore
the desired position, repeat steps 2
and 3.
You can open and close the windows
with the key in the driver’s door lock.
To open: Insert the key in the driver’s door

To tilt up the back of the moonroof ,
press and hold the center button
( ). To close the moonroof ,
press and hold the top of the switch
( ). To open the moonroof ,
press and hold the bottom of the
switch ( ).The moonroof has a key-of f delay.
You can still open and close the
moonroof f or up to 10 minutes af ter
you turn of f the ignition. The key-of f
delay cancels as soon as you open
either f ront door. You must then
turn the ignition to the ON (II)
position f or the moonroof to operate.
The moonroof can be tilted up in the
back f or ventilation, or it can be slid
back into the roof. Use the switch
under the lef t dashboard vent to
operate the moonroof . You must
turn the ignition switch to the ON
(II) position f or the moonroof to
operate.

Opening or closing the
moonroof on someone’s hands
or fingers can cause serious
injury.
Make sure all hands and fingers
are clear of the moonroof
before opening or closing it. If you try to open the moonroof in
below-f reezing temperatures, or when
it is covered with snow or ice, you can
damage the moonroof panel or its
motor.

Be sure to adjust the mirrors bef ore
you start driving.
The inside mirror has day and night
positions. The night position reduces
glare f rom headlights behind you.
Flip the tab on the bottom edge of
the mirror to select the day or night
position.When you shif t to reverse with the
ignition switch in the ON (II)
position, the rear view is shown on
the lef t side of the inside mirror. For
more information, see page .
The inside mirror can automatically
darken to reduce glare. To turn on
this feature, press the button on the
bottom of the mirror. The AUTO
indicator comes on as a reminder.
When it is on, the mirror darkens
when it senses the headlights of a
vehicle behind you, then returns to
normal visibility when the lights are
gone. Press the button again to turn
of f this f eature. 366

Move the selector switch to L
(driver’s side) or R (passenger’s
side). Turn the ignition switch to the ON
(II) position.When you f inish, move the
selector switch to the center (off)
position. This turns the
adjustment switch of f to keep your
settings. Push the appropriate edge of the
adjustment switch to move the
mirrorright,left,up,ordown.To turn the feature off, place the
switch in the center position. To tilt the passenger’s mirror,
place the switch in the right
position. To tilt the driver’s mirror, place
the selector switch in the left
position.
Both outside door mirrors have a
reverse tilt f eature. When in reverse,
the selected mirror will tilt down
slightly to improve your view as you
parallel park. Shif ting out of reverse
will return the mirror to its original
position.

The outside mirrors are heated to
remove fog and frost. With the
ignition switch in the ON (II)
position, turn on the heaters by
pressing the button. The indicator in
the button comes on as a reminder.
Press the button again to turn the
heaters off.To apply the parking brake, push the
pedal down with your f oot. To
release it, push on the pedal again.
The parking brake indicator on the
instrument panel should go out when
the parking brake is fully released
(see page ).You will also see a ‘‘RELEASE
PARKING BRAKE’’ message on the
multi-inf ormation display (see page
).

HEATED MIRROR BUTTON
PARKING BRAKE PEDALDriving the vehicle with the parking
brake applied can damage the rear
brakes and hubs. A beeper will sound if
the vehicle is driven with the parking
brake on.

To adjust the pedals:Do not adjust the pedals with your
f oot on or under either pedal.
Make all adjustments bef ore you
start driving.
Pushandholdthetopof the
adjustment switch until pedals are
closest to you.
Adjust your seat and the steering
wheel so you can operate the
controls and steering wheel easily.
Pushandholdthebottomof the
adjustment switch until pedals are
in the position you can press them
f ully and comf ortably.
You can adjust the position of the
brake pedal and accelerator pedal
when the shif t lever is in the Park
position. Push the top of the
adjustment switch to move the
pedals f orward, and the bottom to

Be caref ul when you are using the
beverage holders. A spilled liquid
that is very hot can scald you or your
passengers. Spilled liquids can
damage the upholstery, carpeting,
and electrical components in the
interior.
To use the retractable center tray,
pull up the outside edge of the tray
until it latches. To store it, pull the
lever and lower the tray. Sitting on or getting under the tray,
or putting heavy objects on the tray,
may damage or deform it.
Do not keep items on the tray while
driving. They may f all down or f ly
around when you go around corners
or brake hard.

To use the f ront beverage holder,
pull the handle.
Additional beverage holders f or the
frontseatpassengersareinthe
retractable center tray.The beverage holders f or the third
row seat passengers are in the
armrests on the rear side panels.
The plus-one seat has a beverage
holder on the back of the seat-back.
To use the beverage holder, remove
the seat cushion, and fold the seat-
back by pulling the seat-back strap

The sunshades are intended f or use
only when the windows are f ully
closed. If a window is opened, the
shade can be blown of f its hooks. As
the shade automatically retracts, it
could hit and hurt anyone sitting too
close to the window.To open the sunglasses holder, push
then release the raised detent. It will
unlatch and swing down. To close it,
push it until it latches. Make sure the
holder is closed while you are driving.
Each rear sliding door has an
integrated sunshade. To use a
sunshade,holdthetabonthetop
and pull the sunshade all the way up.
Insert the holes on the sunshade into
the hooks on the window f rame. To
store the shade, unhook it, and let it
retract all the way down.
