To remove the center console, pull
up the handle on the bottom on its
f ront edge to unlock it f rom the f loor,
then raise it f orward.
To close, lower the lid, and push it
down until it latches. To open the center console, pull up
on the lever, and lif t the lid.
You can remove the center console
f or access to the second row seats.To install the center console, set the
bottom of its rear edge into the floor
recess by aligning the marks on both
sides, then lock the center console
bypushingdownonitsfrontend
until it latches. Make sure it is
securely latched bef ore driving.

On LX modelsThe f ront beverage holders are
located between the f ront seats.
The removable center console has
beverage holders f or the f ront and
second row seat passengers.
You can store small items in the
utility tray on the instrument panel.
Open the tray by pulling on the
bottom edge. A beverage holder is
also equipped inside. To use the
beverage holder, pull beverage
holder arm until it contacts the f ront
of the tray. Close the tray with a firm
push.

Store or secure all items that could
be thrown around and hurt
someone during a crash.
Be sure items placed on the f loor
behind the f ront seats cannot roll
under the seats and interf ere with
the pedals, the seat operation, or
the proper operation of the
sensors under the seats.Distribute cargo evenly on the
f loor of the cargo area, placing the
heaviest items on the bottom and
as far forward as possible. Tie
down items that could be thrown
about the vehicle during a crash or
sudden stop.
If you carry large items that
prevent you f rom closing the
tailgate, exhaust gas can enter the
passenger area. To avoid the
possibility of

seats down, tie down items that

The maximum allowable weight of
the vehicle, all occupants, all cargo,
and the tongue load must not exceed
2,910 lbs (1,320 kg) on the f ront axle,
and 3,197 lbs (1,450 kg) on the rear
axle. The maximum allowable weight of
the vehicle, all occupants, all cargo,
and the tongue load is 6,019 lbs
(2,730 kg).
To achieve a proper tongue load, start by loading 60% of the load toward the
f ront of the trailer and 40% toward the rear, then re-adjust the load as needed. The maximum allowable weight of
the f ully loaded vehicle and trailer is
8,477 lbs (3,845 kg).

The corresponding weight limits assume occupants f ill seats f rom the f ront of the vehicle to the
back, each occupant weighs 150 lbs (68 kg), and each has 15 lbs (7 kg) of cargo in the cargo area.
Any additional weight, including cargo or accessories, reduces the maximum trailer weight and

Move the second row seats to the
rear-most position (see page ).
Remove the f loor mat under the
second row seats (see page ).
Pull up the floor carpet. Raise the
f loor lid by lif ting up with the
handle, then remove it.Take the tool kit case out of the
spare tire well.
Take the jack, vinyl storage bag,
bracket, bracket mounting wing
bolt, and the tire mounting wing
bolt out of the tool kit case.

You can store the f lat tire on the top
of the f olded third row seat.Turn over the f lap on the lef t side
of the cargo area f loor. You will
f ind a U-shaped carpet piece
behind the seat bottom of the
third row seat. Pull up the
U-shaped carpet piece and remove
the plastic screw with a coin.
Store the wheel cover in the spare
tire storage area.
Install the f loor lid over the spare
tire well. Make sure it is securely
latched.
Install the f loor mat under the
second row seats (see page ).
Place the flat tire face down on the
attachment point. Put the tire
mountingwingboltinthe
attachment point through one of
the f ive wheel nut holes as shown.
Poke holes in the vinyl bag. Secure
the f lat tire by tightening the tire
mounting wing bolt.
