CAUTION
It should be tightened firmly with your fingers until there is no more play in the towing hole. Towing hookis located in the jack case on the spare tire.

(3)Attach a tow cable, chain or strap to the towing hook on the front bumper.
NOTE: Place the towing hook & towing hole cover in its original position when not in use.
(2)Take out the towing hook from the jack case. To mount the towing hook, rotate it clockwise.

Nor should towing be attempted if the wheels, drive train, axles, steering orbrakes are damaged. Before towing, be sure the transaxle is in neutral and the key is in "ACC" (with the engine off) orin the "ON" position (with the engine running). A driver must be in the towed car to steer it and operate the brakes. NOTE: Before towing, check the level of the automatic transaxle fluid. If it is be- low the "HOT" range on the dipstick,add fluid. If you cannot add fluid, a towing dolly must be used.

If you lock the keys inside your car andyou cannot obtain a new key, many Hyundai dealers can use special tools to open the door for you. Information about the key of immobi- lizer system (If Installed) will be foundon page 1-5.
CAUTION:
If the car is being towed with all four wheels on the ground, it can be towed only from the front. Be surethat the transaxle is in neutral. Do not tow at speeds greater than 50 km/h (30 mph) and for more than 25 km (15miles). Be sure the steering is unlocked by placing the key in the "ACC" posi-tion. A driver must be in the towed vehicle to operate the steering and brakes.

4. Replace the blown fuse by pressing
a new fuse of the same rating into place. The fuse should be a snug fit. If it is not, have the fuse clip repaired or replaced by a Hyundai dealer.
1. Turn off the ignition and all other
switches.
2. Open the fuse box and examine each fuse. Remove each fuse bypulling it toward you (a small "fusepuller" tool is contained in the relay and fuse box of the engine room to simplify this operation).
3. Be sure to check all other fuses even if you find one that appears tohave burned out.

If you do not have a spare fuse, you may be able to borrow a fuse of the same or lower rating from an acces- sory you can temporarily get alongwithout (the radio or cigarette lighter, for example). Always remember to replace the borrowed fuse.

A burned-out fuse indicates that there is a problem in the electrical circuit. If you replace a fuse and itblows as soon as the accessory is turned on, the problem is serious and should be referred to a Hyun-dai dealer for diagnosis and repair. Never replace a fuse with anything except a fuse with the same or alower amperage rating. A higher capacity fuse could cause damage and create a fire hazard. NOTE: See page 6-35 for the fuse panel descriptions.
