I010A01A-GAT VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (VIN) The vehicle identification number (VIN) is the number used in registering your car and in alllegal matters pertaining to its ownership, etc.It can be found on the identification plate at-tached to the engine side of the firewall be-tween the engine and passenger compartment. The engine number is stamped on the engineblock as shown in the drawing.
