Factors including speed, road condi- tions and driver steering input can allaffect whether ESP will be effective in preventing a loss of control. It is still your responsibility to drive and cornerat reasonable speeds and to leave a sufficient margin of safety.
CAUTION:
Driving with varying tire or wheelsize may cause the ESP system to malfunction. When replacing tires, make sure they are the same size as your original tires.
WARNING:
Electronic stability program is only a driving aid; all normal precautions for driving in inclement weather and on slippery road surfaces should beobserved.
! C310D01JM-AAT Indicators and Warning The indicators should illuminate when the ignition key is turned to ON orSTART but should go out after three seconds. !WARNING:
Do not remove the radiator cap when the engine is hot. This can allow coolant to be blown out of the open- ing and cause serious burns.
6. If you cannot find the cause of the overheating, wait until the engine temperature has returned to nor- mal. Then, if the engine coolant has been lost, carefully add coolant tothe reservoir (page 6-11) to bring the fluid level in the reservoir up to the halfway mark.
7. Proceed with caution, keeping alert for further signs of overheating. Ifoverheating happens again, call aHyundai dealer for assistance.
CAUTION:
Serious loss of engine coolant indi-cates there is a leak in the cooling system and this should be checked as soon as possible by a Hyundaidealer. D040A01GK-GAT The following instructions for the tem- porary spare tire should be observed:
1. Check inflation pressure as soon as
practical after installing the spare tire, and adjust to the specified pres- sure. The tire pressure should beperiodically checked and maintained at the specified pressure while the tire is stored.
Spare Tire Pressure TEMPORARY SPARE TIRE
5. The temporary spare tire should notbe used on any other wheels, norshould standard tires, snow tires, wheel covers or trim rings be used with the temporary spare wheel. Ifsuch use is attempted, damage to these items or other car compo- nents may occur.
6. The temporary spare tire pressure should be checked once a monthwhile the tire is stored.

!WARNING:
o Driving on worn-out tires is dan- gerous! Worn-out tires can cause loss of braking effective-ness, steering control and trac- tion. When replacing tires, never mix radial and bias-ply tires onthe same car. If you replace ra- dial tires with bias-ply tires, they must be installed in sets of four.
o Using tires and wheels of other than the recommended sizesmay cause unusual handling characteristics that may cause death, serious injury or prop-erty damage. I100A01FC-GAT

C310A01JM-AAT ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAM (ESP)(If Installed) The Electronic Stability Program (ESP) system is an electronic system de-signed to help the driver maintain ve- hicle control under adverse conditions. It is not a substitute for safe drivingpractices. Factors including speed, road conditions and driver steering input can all affect whether ESP will be effectivein preventing a loss of control. It is still your responsibility to drive and corner at reasonable speeds and to leave asufficient margin of safety.

The Electronic Stability Program (ESP)system is designed to stabilize the vehicle during cornering maneuvers. ESP checks where you are steeringand where the vehicle is actually going. ESP applies the brakes at individual wheels and intervenes in the enginemanagement system to stabilize the vehicle. WARNING:

SI060A1-E TYRE BALANCING Incorrect tyre balance will cause steer- ing vibration and uneven tyre wear. The vehicle tyres are balanced during production but may need further bal-ancing throughout the life of the tyres. It is recommended that the tyres bebalanced on the car for best results and that the tyres are balanced when- ever they have been removed fromthe wheel for repair. SI060D1-E WHEEL REPLACEMENT The original wheels may only be re- placed with Hyundai Approved Wheels.
WARNING:
Driving on worn or defective tyresis dangerous. Worn tyres may cause loss of steering control anda serious deterioration of braking efficiency. Defective tyres may cause vibration and loss of con-trol through blow outs. Tyres of different size, construction or tread pattern should not be inter-mixed on the same axle. Radial and cross ply tyres should not be used on the same vehicle. The use of tyres and wheels of nonapproved sizes can be dangerous.
