OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR
B510B01Y-AAT Electric Type The outside rearview mirrors can be adjusted to your preferred rear vision, both directly behind the vehicle, and tothe rear of the left and right sides. The remote control outside rearview mirror switch controls the adjustmentsfor both the right and left outside mir- ror. OGK046026L

To Adjust the Position of Either Mirror:
1. Move the selecting switch to the
right or left to activate the adjustable mechanism for the corresponding door mirror.
2. Now, adjust the mirror angle by
depressing the appropriate perim-eter switch as illustrated.
CAUTION:
o Do not operate the switch con- tinuously for an unnecessarylength of time.
o Scraping ice from the mirror face
could cause permanent damage.To remove any ice, use a sponge, soft cloth or approved de-icer.
WARNING:
Be careful when judging the size ordistance of any object seen in the passenger side rearview mirror. It is a convex mirror with a curvedsurface. Any objects seen in this mirror are closer than they appear.

SEEK UP ( ) Switch Press the SEEK UP ( ) switch 1 sec. or more.
1. RADIO mode When the SEEK UP ( ) switch is pressed, the unit will automatically tune to the next higher frequency.
2. TAPE mode Pressing the SEEK UP ( ) switch will play the beginning of the next music segment.
3. CD (compact disc)/CDC(compact disc changer) mode
Press the SEEK UP ( ) switch once to skip forward to the beginning of the next track.
VOL ( / ) Switch
o Press the VOL ( ) button to in- crease volume.
o Press the VOL ( ) button to de- cease volume.AUDIO REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH
o With the cruise control engaged,
when the brake pedal is applied, it is normal to hear the cruise control system deactivate. This is an indication of normal systemoperation.
o During normal cruise control
operation, when the"SET(COAST)" is activated or reactivated after applying the brakes, the cruise control willenergize after approximately 3 seconds. This delay is normal. YB270B2-E Electric Type The outside rearview mirrors can be adjusted in any direction to give the maximum rearview vision.The remote control outside rearview mirror switch controls the adjustments for both right and left door mirror. OGK046026R B510C01HP-EAT OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR HEATER (Not all models) The outside rearview mirror heater is actuated in connection with heated rear window. So, to heat the outside rear- view mirror glass, push in the switch forheated rear window. The rearview mirror glass will be heated for defrosting or defogging and will giveyou improved rear vision in all weather conditions.

!WARNING:
o Always double check to be sure that the bonnet is firmly latched before driving away. If it is not latched, the bonnet could fly openwhilst the vehicle is being driven, causing a total loss of visibility, which might result in an acci-dent.
o Do not move the vehicle with the
bonnet in the raised position, asvision is obstructed and the bon- net could fall or be damaged.
When closing the bonnet, slowly close the bonnet and make sure it locks intoplace.
REMOTE FUEL FILLER FLAP RELEASE
B560A01MC-EAT The fuel filler flap may be opened from inside the vehicle by pulling up on thefuel filler flap release. NOTE: If the fuel-filler flap will not open because ice has formed around it,lightly tap or push on the lid to break the ice and release the lid. Do not lever the flap. If necessary, sprayaround the flap with an approved de- icer fluid (do not use radiator anti- freeze) or move the vehicle to awarmer area and allow the ice to melt.

If you need to replace the filler cap, use a genuine Hyundai replace-ment part. If you open the fuel filler cap dur- ing high ambient temperatures, aslight "pressure sound" may be heard. This is normal and not a cause for concern.Whenever you open the fuel filler cap, turn it slowly.

SB450A2-E Remote Hatchback Door Release The hatchback door may be opened by pulling the lever to release the lock. The hatchback door should be closedby depressing the lid firmly until the latch engages. Ensure that hatchback door is securely latched before settingthe vehicle in motion. OGK046005R

The hatchback door should always be kept completely closed whilst the vehicle is in motion. If it is left openor ajar, poisonous exhaust gases may enter the car resulting in seri- ous illness or death to the occu-pants. See additional warnings con- cerning exhaust gases on page 2-2.
SB450C2-E To Unlock Using the Key To open the hatchback door using the ignition key, insert the key into the lock barrel and turn clockwise to releasethe latch. The hatchback door com- partment light will illuminate whenever the hatchback door is opened. OGK046006

!WARNING:
o Keep the main switch off when not using the cruise control.
o Use the cruise control system only when traveling on open dual carriageways/motorways in good weather.
o Do not use the cruise control when it may not be safe to keepthe car at a constant speed, forinstance, driving in heavy or vary- ing traffic, or on slippery (rainy, icy or snow-covered) or windingroads or over 6% up-hill or down- hill roads.
o Pay particular attention to the
driving conditions whenever us-ing the cruise control system.
o During cruise-control driving
with a manual transaxle vehicle,do not shift into neutral without depressing the clutch pedal, orthe engine will be overrevved. If this happens, depress the clutch pedal or release the main switch. o With the cruise control engaged,
