B350B01A-AAT Windshield Washer Operation To use the windshield washer, pull the wiper/washer lever toward the steer- ing wheel. When the washer lever isoperated, the wipers automatically make two passes across the wind- shield. The washer continues to oper-ate until the lever is released. NOTE:
o Do not operate the washer more
than 15 seconds at a time or when the fluid reservoir is empty.
o In icy or freezing weather, be
sure the wiper blades are notfrozen to the glass prior to oper- ating the wipers. B390A01E-AAT Rear Window Wiper And Washer (If installed)
1. : The rear window wiper starts
to operate three times after the washer fluid sprays onto therear window.
2.OFF3.INT: The interval between wipes op-erates every 5 seconds inter- mittently.
4.ON : The rear window wiper starts
to operate continuously.
5. : The washer fluid will be sprayed
onto the rear window and the wiper operates while the rear window wiper barrel is placed in this position.

o In areas where water freezes inwinter, use windshield washer antifreeze.
Mist Wiper Operation If a single wipe is desired to clear mist, push the windshield wiper and washer control lever upwards. HXDFL356-EU

Do not operate the washer continu- ously for more than 15 seconds orwhen the fluid reservoir is empty; this could damage the system. Do not op- erate the wiper when the window isdry; this can result in scratching as well as premature wiper blade wear. For the reason stated above,do notoperate the washer when the washer fluid reservoir is empty.

o Fluid leaks (on or below components)
o Power steering fluid level
o Battery condition
o Air filter condition o Defroster, heating system opera-
tion (and air conditioning, if in- stalled)
o Steering operation and condition
o Mirror condition and operation
o Turn signal operation
o Accelerator pedal operation
o Brake operation, including parking brake
o Manual transaxle operation, includ-
ing clutch operation
o Automatic transaxle operation, in- cluding "PARK" mechanism opera-tion
o Seat control condition and opera-
tion
o Seat belt condition and operation
o Sunvisor operation If you notice anything that does not operate correctly or appears to be functioning incorrectly, inspect it care- fully and seek assistance from yourHyundai dealer if service is needed.

o Do not operate the wipers on dry glass. This can result in morerapid wear of the wiper bladesand may scratch the glass.
o Keep the blade rubber out of contact with petroleum products such as engine oil, gasoline, etc. Gasoline engine
G080A02A-AAT The wiper blades should be carefully
inspected from time to time and cleaned to remove accumulations ofroad film or other debris. To clean the wiper blades and arms, use a clean sponge or cloth with a mild soap ordetergent and water. If the wipers continue to streak or smear the glass, replace them with genuine Hyundaireplacement parts or their equivalent. HEF119
