high, open the car windows for ventilation
before using your car audio.
It is illegal to copy and use MP3/WMA
files without permission. Use CDs that
are created only by lawful means.
Do not apply volatile agents such as
benzene and thinner, normal cleaners
and magnetic sprays made for ana-
logue disc onto CDs.
To prevent the disc surface from get-
ting damaged. Hold and carry CDs by
the edges or the edges of the center
hole only.
Clean the disc surface with a piece of soft
cloth before playback (wipe it from the
center to the outside edge).
Do not damage the disc surface or
attach pieces of sticky tape or paper
onto it.
Make sure nothing other than CDs are
inserted into the CD player (Do not
insert more than one CD at a time).
Keep CDs in their cases after use to
protect them from scratches or dirt. Depending on the type of CD-R/CD-
RW CDs, certain CDs may not operate
normally according to manufacturing
companies or making and recording
methods. In such circumstances, if you
still continue to use those CDs, they
may cause a malfunction of your audio
system.

- Playing an
Incompatible Copy-Protected
Audio CD
Some copy-protected CDs, which do not
comply with international audio CD
standards, may not play on your car
audio. Please note that if you try to play
copy protected CDs and the CD player
of your car audio is not performing to
your expectation, this may be caused by
those CDs and not a defect in the device
itself.

5. Automatic Channel Selection
Button When the [SEEK ] button is pressed,
it reduces the band frequency to auto-
matically select a channel. Stops at the
previous frequency if no channel is
found.

found.6. Power ON/OFF & Volume
Control ButtonTurns the set on/off when the IGNITION
SWITCH is on ACC or ON. If the button

ume and left, decreases the volume.7. SCAN Selection ButtonWhen the button is pressed, it automati-
cally only [SCAN] up. The sound hearing
for 5 secondsper all searched station
preset.
8. MUTE Selection ButtonWhen inputting [MUTE] button, indicate
"AUDIO MUTE" at the some time with out-
put [MUTE].9. INFO Selection ButtonDisplays the information of the channel
currently played by XM.10. SETUP Selection ButtonPress this button to turn to the SCROLL,
SDVC, XM and adjustment mode.
If no action is taken for 5 seconds after
pressing the button, it will return to the play
mode.(After entering SETUP mode, move
between items using the left, right and

1. CD Loading SlotPlease face printed side upward and
gently push in. When the ignition switch
is on ACC or ON and power is off, power
is automatically turned on if the CD is
loaded. This CDP support Only 12 cm
CD. But if VCD, Data CD or DVD discs
are loaded, "Reading Error" message will
appear and CD will be ejected.2. CD Indicator When the ignition switch is in ACC or ON
and if the CD is loaded, this indicator is
lighted. If the CD is ejected the light is
turned off.3. CD Eject ButtonPush button to eject the CD during CD
playback. This button is enabled when
ignition switch is off.4. AUX Selection ButtonIf the auxiliary device is connected, it
turns to AUX MODE to play the sound
from the auxiliary player.
If no Disc and auxiliary device is connected,
it displays "NO Media" for 5 seconds and

Repeats the entire DISC when the button
is pressed for 0.8 second or longer.9. RANDOM Selection ButtonTurns on/off the randomization of the
play list of files in the currently played
DISC.

CAUTION IN USING
USB DEVICE
• To use an external USB device,
make sure the device is not
mounted when starting up the
vehicle and mount the device
after starting up.
If you start the vehicle when the
USB device is mounted, it may
damage the USB device. (USB is
not ESA)
If the vehicle is started up or
turned off while the external USB
device is connected, the external
USB device may not work.
It may not play inauthentic MP3 or
WMA files.
1) It can only play MP3 files with
the compression rate between
8Kbps~320Kbps.
2) It can only play WMA music
files with the compression rate
between 8Kbps~320Kbps.
Take cautions for static electricity
when mounting or dismounting
the external USB device.
An encoded MP3 PLAYER is not
recognizable.

Depending on the condition of
the external USB device, the con-
nected external USB device can
be unrecognizable.
When the formatted byte/sector
setting of External USB devices is
not either 512BYTE or 2048BYTE,
then the device will not be recog-
nized.
Use only a USB device formatted
to FAT 12/16/32.
USB devices without USB IF
authentication may not be recog-
nizable.
Make sure the USB connection
terminal does not come in contact
with a human body or any object.
If you repeat mounting or dis-
mounting USB device in a short
period of time, it may break the
device.
You might hear a strange noise
when mounting or dismounting a
USB device.

If you dismount the external USB
device during playback in USB
mode, the external USB device can
be damaged or malfunction.
Therefore, mount the external USB
device when the engine is turned
off or in another mode.
Depending on the type and capac-
ity of the external USB device or
the type of the files stored in the
device, there is a difference in the
time taken for recognition of the
device, but this is not an indicator
of trouble and you only have to
wait.
Do not use the USB device for other
purposes than playing music files.
Use of USB accessories such as
recharger or heater using USB I/F
may lower performance or cause
trouble.
If you use devices such as a USB
hub you purchased separately,
the vehicle’s audio system may
not recognize the USB device.
Connect the USB device directly
to the multimedia terminal of the
vehicle.

when the button is pressed for 0.8 sec-
ond or longer. This button is enabled
when the ignition switch is off.4. CD LOAD ButtonThis compact disc player will accommo-
date up to six compact discs.
To insert multiple discs into the player,
perform the following:1. Press and release the [LOAD] Button.
2. Green light on the slot will be illuminat-
ed and the lowest number of empty
slot will blink on the display.
After “Wait” is displayed on the LCD,
the slot will open with “Insert CD” dis-
played on the LCD.
3. Insert a disc partway into the slot, label
side up. The player will pull the disc in.
When the disc is inserted, the disc will
begin to play automatically.
✽ ✽
NOTICE• The disc can be only inserted while the
green light is blinking on the slot.
• This CD player is suitable only for 12
cm discs, do not use irregular shaped
CDs.
To insert multiple discs:
1. Press and hold the [LOAD] button for
one second or more.
You will then hear a beep sound and
the green light on the slot will be illumi-
nated, and the numbers of empty disc
will blink on the display.
2. After “Wait” is displayed on the LCD with
the lowest number of empty slot blinking,
the slot will open with “Insert CD” dis-
played on the LCD.
3. Insert a disc partway into the slot, label
side up. The player will pull the disc in.
Once the disc is loaded, the numbers
of the empty disc will blink on the dis-
play continuously.
If the next “Insert CD” is displayed when
the slot is illuminated, you can then load
another disc.
4. Load the remaining disc by following
procedures 1 and 2. When you finished
loading 6 discs, the CD player will
begin to play the last CD loaded.
5. To load more than one disc but less
than six, complete Steps 1 and 2.

press [LOAD] button to cancel the load-
ing function or wait for 10 seconds. The
CD player will begin to play the last CD
loaded. As each CD starts to play, the
DISC number will appear on the display.✽ ✽
NOTICEThe disc player takes up to six discs. Do
not try to load more than six.5. AUX Selection ButtonIf the auxiliary device is connected, it
turns to AUX MODE to play the sound
from the auxiliary player.
If no auxiliary device is connected, it dis-
plays "NO MEDIA" for 5 seconds and

System is a compact, built-in, easy-to-use
entertainment system designed to provide
family fun while you are on the road. Enjoy
great quality sound from the vehicle
speakers, or have a private, quiet viewing
with the wireless headphones.
The display unit is mounted to the ceiling
in the rear passenger area of the vehicle,
allowing rear-seat passengers to play
DVD movies, video CDs or music CDs.
Users may also plug in a game platform or
VHS player. Headphones, game car-
tridges and other accessories can be kept
neatly out of the way in the 3rd-row arm-
rest compartment.System OverviewThe RSE System includes a mounted
color monitor with a built-in audio/video
control panel and a DVD player. It also
includes a remote control and two (2)
sets of battery-operated wireless head-
phones.
Connections / SetupThe RSE system is designed to make
your time on the road more enjoyable.
Please follow these instructions carefully
to get the most out of your RSE.

NOTICERSE operation is prevented during the
first 2 seconds after the ignition switch is
turned to ignition on or accessory mode.
REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM / DVD PLAYER (IF EQUIPPED)
CAUTION
Refrain from using food or drinks
near the RSE, the wireless head-
phones or the remote control.
Direct sunlight may interfere with
the headphone's operation and
performance.
Normal RSE operation cannot be
guaranteed with duplicated discs.
In order to prevent inadvertent
battery discharge, the RSE will
remain in standby mode when
ignition switch is turn to ignition
ON or accessory mode.
Use of rear seat entertainment
system without the engine run-
ning will reduce battery power.
CAUTION
Disclaimer: The RSE system is pro-
grammed to the regional display
formats for your region (NTSC or
PAL). Please note that your RSE will
not read DVDs from a different
region.
