67DRINK HOLDER
B450B02FC-GAT Rear drink holder (If Installed)
The rear drink holder is located on the rear main console for holding cups. The drink holder can be used by push- ing the knob on the rear main consoledownward and then releasing it. CAUTION:
Place the drink holder in its original position while not in use.

B450A02FC-GAT Front drink holder (If Installed) The front drink holder is used for hold- ing cups.To use the passenger's drink holder, push the drink holder and pull it en- tirely. HFC2097
Driver's Passenger's
WARNING:
o Use caution when using the drink holders. A spilled beverage that is very hot can injure you or your passengers. Spilled liquids candamage interior trim and electri- cal components.
o Do not place objects other than cups or cans in the drink holder. These objects can be thrown outin the event of a sudden stop or an accident, possibly injuring the pas- sengers in the vehicle.

PARKING BRAKE
B530A01A-AAT Always engage the parking brake be- fore leaving the car. This also turns on the parking brake indicator light whenthe key is in the "ON" or "START" position. Before driving away, be sure that the parking brake is fully releasedand the indicator light is off.
o To engage the parking brake, pull
the lever up as far as possible.
o To release the parking brake, pull
up the lever and press the thumb button. Then, while holding the but- ton in, lower the brake lever. B530A01FC
SUNROOF
B470A02S-AAT SUNSHADE The sunshade can be opened and closed by sliding it forward or rearward when the sunroof is closed. The sunshade will be open automatically when thesunroof is opened, but it must be closed manually.
B460A01S-AAT (If installed) The sunroof can be operated with the ignition key in the "ON" position
B470A01FCREAR SEAT ARM REST
B611A02FC-AAT (If Installed) The rear seat arm rest is located in the center of the rear seat back with a storage box. The drink holder in the box can be usedby opening the lid of the arm rest. B610A01FC
WARNING:
o Do not place objects other than cups or cans on the drink holder. Such objects can be thrown out in the event of a sudden stop oran accident, possibly injuring the passengers in the vehicle.
o Be careful not to injure your fin-
gers when you open the lid of thearm rest.

B460C02S-AAT Tilting the Sunroof The sunroof can be tilted by pushing the "UP" button with the sunroof closed. Release the button when the sunroof reaches the desired position. To closethe sunroof, press the "DOWN" but- ton. HFC2022

WARNING:
o Do not close a sunroof if anyone's hands, arms or body are between the sliding glass and the sunroof sash, as this could result in aninjury.
o Do not place your head or arms
out of the sunroof opening at anytime. CAUTION:
o Do not open the sunroof in se- verely cold temperature or when it is covered with ice or snow.
o Periodically remove any dirt that may have accumulated on theguide rails.
o Do not press any sunroof control button longer than necessary.Damage to the motor or system components could occur.
NOTE: After washing the car or after there is rain, be sure to wipe off any water that is on the sunroof before operat-ing it.
B460B02S-AAT OPERATING THE SUNROOF SYSTEMOpening or Closing the Sunroof

The sunroof can be only electrically opened or closed. To open or to close, press and hold the button located inthe front overhead console. Release the button when the sunroof reaches the desired position.

B460D01FC-GAT Manual Operation of Sunroof If the sunroof does not operate electri- cally:
1. Remove the rectangular plastic inte-
rior light lens in the front overhead console.
2. Turn the hexagonal bolts with a
socketwrench counterclockwise toremove the front overhead console. HFC1036
3. Insert the hexagonal head wrench
provided with the vehicle into thesocket. This wrench can be found in the vehicle's luggage room or glovebox. 4. Turn the wrench clockwise to open or
counterclockwise to close.

oON In the "ON" position, the light stays on at all times.
CAUTION:
Do not leave the switch in this posi-tion for an extended period time when the vehicle is not running.
o OFF In the "OFF" position, the light stays off at all times even though a door is open.

B490A02E-AAT Interior Light The interior courtesy light has a switch of three positions. The three positions are:
oDR In the "DR" position, the interior cour- tesy light comes on when any door isopened regardless of the ignition key position. The light goes out when the door is closed. HFC490

B480A01E-AAT FRONT INTERIOR LIGHT Map Light The two map light switches are located on both sides of the front overheadconsole. Push in the map light switch to turn the light on or off. B500B02E-GAT The multi box may be opened by pulling it out by its grip. It is used for storing small articles. If the multi box is removed, the fusebox for the lights and other electrical accessories will be exposed. HFC2058

SPECTACLE CASE
B491A02FC-GAT (If Installed) The spectacle case is located on the front overhead console. Push the end of the cover to open thespectacle case.
WARNING:

To adjust the position of either mirror:
1. Move the selecting switch to the
right or left to activate the adjustable mechanism for the correspondingdoor mirror.
2. Adjust mirror angle by depressing
the appropriate directional switchas illustrated.
B510D01EB510B01FC-GAT OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR Electric Type The outside rearview mirrors can be adjusted to your preferred rear vision, both directly behind the vehicle, and to the rear of the left and right sides.The remote control outside rearview mirror switch controls the adjustments for both right and left outside mirrors. B510C01A-AAT FOLDING THE OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRRORS To fold the outside rearview mirrors, push them towards the rear. The outside rearview mirrors can befolded rearward for parking in narrow areas.
WARNING:
Do not adjust or fold the outside rearview mirrors while the vehicle is moving. This could result in loss of control, and an accident whichcould cause death, serious injury or property damage. B510C01FCB510D02HP-AAT OUTSIDE REARVIEW MIRROR HEATER (If installed) The outside rearview mirror heater is actuated in connection with the front/ rear window defroster. To heat the out- side rearview mirror glass, pushin the switch for the front/rear window defroster. The rearview mirror glass will be heated for defrosting or defoggingand will give you improved rear vision in inclement weather conditions. Push the switch again to turn the heater off.The outside rearview mirror heater automatically turns itself off after 20 minutes.

o Do not operate the switch con- tinuously for an unnecessary length of time.
o Scraping ice from the mirror face could cause permanent damage.To remove any ice, use a sponge, soft cloth or approved de-icer.
WARNING:
Be careful when judging the size ordistance of any object seen in thepassenger side rear view mirror. It is a convex mirror with a curved surface, and objects seen in thismirror are closer than they appear.

Do not place the sun visor in such a manner that it obscures visibility of the roadway, traffic or other ob- jects. NOTE: The Supplemental Restraint Sys- tem (SRS) label containing useful information can be found on theback of each sun visor.
