This system helps to protect your
vehicle and valuables. The horn will
sound and the hazard warning lights
will blink continuously if any of the
following occurs:
- A door is opened without using thesmart key.
- The trunk is opened without using the smart key.
- The hood is opened.
The alarm continues for 30 seconds,
then the system resets. To turn off
the alarm, unlock the doors with
smart key.
The Theft Alarm System automati-
cally sets 30 seconds after you lock
the doors and the trunk. For the sys-
tem to activate, you must lock the
doors and the trunk from outside the
vehicle with the smart key or by
pressing the button on the outside of
the door handle with the smart key in
your possession.
The hazard warning lights will blink and the chime will sound once to
indicate the system is armed. Once the security system is set,
opening any door, the trunk, or the
hood without using the smart key will
cause the alarm to activate.
The Theft Alarm System will not set if
the hood, the trunk, or any door is
not fully closed. If the system will not
set, check the hood, the trunk, or thedoors are fully closed. Do not attempt to alter this system or
add other devices to it.
Information
 Do not lock the doors until all pas- sengers have left the vehicle. If the
remaining passenger leaves the
vehicle when the system is armed,
the alarm will be activated.
 If the vehicle is not disarmed with the smart key, open the doors by
using the mechanical key and start
hybrid system by directly pressing
the switch with the smart key.
 If the system is disarmed by unlock- ing the vehicle, but neither a door or
the trunk is opened within 30 sec-
onds, the doors will relock and the
system will rearm automatically.i

Auto up/down window (if equipped)
Pressing or pulling up the power win-
dow switch momentarily to the sec-ond detent position (6) completely
lowers or lifts the window even when
the switch is released. To stop the
window at the desired position while
the window is in operation, pull up or
press down and release the switch.
To reset the power windows
If the power windows do not operate
normally, the automatic power win-
dow system must be reset as follows:
1. Place engine Start/Stop button is in the ON position.
2. Close the window and continue pulling up on the power window
switch for at least one second.
If the power windows do not operate
properly after resetting, have the
system checked by an authorized
HYUNDAI dealer.
Automatic reverse (if equipped)
If a window senses any obstacle while
it is closing automatically, it will stop
and lower approximately 30 cm (12
inches) to allow the object to becleared.
If the window detects the resistance
while the power window switch is
pulled up continuously, the window
will stop upward movement then
lower approximately 2.5 cm (1 inch).
If the power window switch is pulled
up continuously again within 5 sec-
onds after the window is lowered by
the automatic window reversal fea-
ture, the automatic window reversal
will not operate. Information
The automatic reverse feature is only
active when the "Auto Up" feature is
used by fully pulling up the switch to
the second detent.

age. Objects less than 4 mm (0.16
inch) in diameter caught
between the window glass and
the upper window channel may
not be detected by the automat-
ic reverse window and the win-
dow will not stop and reversedirection.

Periodically remove any dirt thatmay accumulate on the sunroof guide rail or between the sun-
roof and roof panel, which can
make a noise.
Do not try to open the sunroof when the temperature is below
freezing or when the sunroof is
covered with snow or ice, other-wise the motor could be dam-
aged. In cold and wet climates,
the sunroof may not work prop-
erly.
Resetting the sunroof
Sunroof needs to be reset if (in the
followings)
- Battery is discharged or disconnect-ed or the related fuse has been replaced or disconnected
- The one-touch sliding function of the sunroof does not normally operate
1. Turn hybrid system on and close the sunroof glass and sunshade
completely.
2. Release the control lever.
3. Push the sunroof control lever for- ward in the direction of close (about 10 seconds) until the sun-
roof slightly moves. Then, release
the lever. 4. Push the sunroof control lever for-
ward in the direction of close until
the sunroof operates as follows:
Sunshade Open Glass Tilt Open
Glass Slide Open Glass Slide
Close Sunshade Close
Then, release the control lever.
When this is complete, the sunroof system is reset.

authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
Information
If the sunroof does not reset when the
vehicle battery is disconnected or dis-
charged or related fuse is blown, the
sunroof may not operate normally.

NOTICE
Small objects that can get
caught between the sunroof
glass and the front glass chan-
nel may not be detected by the
automatic reverse system. In
this case, the sunroof glass willnot detect the object and will
not reverse direction.

If the service interval is activated and the time and distance is adjusted,
messages are displayed in the fol-
lowing situations each time the vehi-
cle is turned on.
- Service in: Displayed to inform the driver theremaining mileage and days to
service.
- Service required

Information
If any of the following conditions
occur, the mileage and number of days
to service may be incorrect.
- The battery cable is disconnected.

Battery Saver+
To activate or deactivate the Aux.
Battery Saver+ function.
When activated, the high voltage bat-
tery is used to keep the 12V batterycharged.

Fuel Economy Auto Reset
- Off: The average fuel economy will
not reset automatically whenever refueling.
- After Ignition: The average fuel economy will reset automatically
whenever it has passed 4 hours
after turning OFF the engine.
- After recharging: The average fuel economy will reset automaticallywhen refueling.

Fuel economy
Distance To Empty (1)
The distance to empty is the esti-mated distance the vehicle can be
driven with the remaining fuel.
- Distance range: 1 ~ 9999 mi. or 1 ~ 9999 km
If the estimated distance is below 1 mi. (1 km), the trip computer will
display "---" as distance to empty. Information
 If the vehicle is not on level ground or the battery power has been inter-
rupted, the distance to empty func-
tion may not operate correctly.
 The distance to empty may differ from the actual driving distance as
it is an estimate of the available
driving distance.
 The trip computer may not register additional fuel if less than 1.6 gal-
lons (6 liters) of fuel are added to the
vehicle.
 The fuel economy and distance to empty may vary significantly based
on driving conditions, driving habits,
and condition of the vehicle.
Average Fuel Economy (2)
The average fuel economy is calcu-lated by the total driving distance and fuel consumption since the last
average fuel economy reset.
The average fuel economy can be reset both manually and automati-
cally. Manual reset
To clear the average fuel economy
manually, press the
[OK] button on
the steering wheel for more than 1
second when the average fuel econo-
my is displayed.
Automatic reset
To automatically reset the average fuel
economy after refueling, select the
"Auto Reset" mode in User Settings
menu on the LCD display.
- After Ignition: The average fuel econ- omy will reset automatically whenev-
er it has passed 4 hours after turning
OFF the engine.
- After Refueling: The average fuel economy will reset automatically
when driving speed exceeds 1 km/h,after adding 6 liters (1.6 gallons) of
fuel or more.
Information
The average fuel economy may be inac-
curate, when the vehicle drives shorter
than 300 meters (0.19 miles) after turn-
ing ON the Engine Start/Stop button.

Instant Fuel Economy (3)
This mode displays the instant fueleconomy during the last few sec-
onds when the vehicle speed ismore than 6.2 MPH (10 km/h).
Accumulated Info display
This display shows the accumulated
trip distance (1), the average fuel
economy (2), and the total drivingtime (3).
The information is calculated starting from the last reset.
To manually reset the information,
press and hold the OK button when
viewing the Accumulated driving info. The trip distance, the average fuel
economy, and total driving time will
reset simultaneously.
The accumulated driving information
will continue to be counted while the
engine is still running (for example,
when the vehicle is in traffic orstopped at a stop light.)
Information
The vehicle must be driven for a min-
imum of 0.19 miles (300 meters) since
the last ignition key cycle before the
average fuel economy will be recalcu-
lated.
