1. Pull the seat belt out of the roof
panel.
2. Before fastening the rear seat cen-
ter belt, confirm the metal tab (a) and buckle (b) are latched together. 3. After confirming that (a) and (b) are
latched, pull the seat belt out of the retractor and insert the metal tab (c) into the buckle (d).

There will be an audible "click" when the tab locks in the buckle. The seat belt automatically adjusts to the properlength only after the lap belt is adjusted manually so that it fits snugly around your hips. If you lean forward in a slow,easy motion, the belt will extend and let you move around. If there is a sudden stop or impact, the belt will lockinto position. B230D04E-GAT Securing a Child Restraint Sys- tem with "ISOFIX" System and"Tether Anchorage" System ISOFIX is a standardized method of fitting child seats that eliminates the need to use the standard adult seat belt to secure the seat in the vehicle.This enables a much more secure and positive location with the added benefit of easier and quicker installation. An ISOFIX-seat can only be installed ifit has vehicle-specific approval in ac-cordance with the requirements of ECE-R44. For your Hyundai, the Hyundai ISOFIX GR1 / Hyundai Duo /Römer ISOFIX GR1 and the Römer Duo ISOFIX / Britax Duo ISOFIX is approved according to the requirementECE-R44. This seat has been tested extensively by Hyundai and is recom- mended for your Hyundai. NOTE: At present, this seat is the only one complying with that provision. In case that other manufacturers willfurnish proof of a respective certifi- cation, Hyundai is going to evalu- ate this seat carefully and will givea recommendation provided that seat complies to the law. Please ask your Hyundai dealer in this respect.

On each side of the rear seat, betweenthe cushion and backrest, are located a pair of ISOFIX anchorage points together with a top tether mounting onthe luggage compartment. During the installing, the seat has to be engaged at the anchorage-points in a way youcan hear it clicking (check by pulling!) and has to be fixed with the Top Tether- belt on the belonging point in the lug-gage-compartment. The installing and the use of a child-seat has to be done according to the installing-manual,which is added to the ISOFIX-seat.ISOFIX Anchor

Remove the round plug with the groove pointing to the front and therear. Otherwise, the projections of the plug may break if it is not posi- tioned properly.

If the sunroof does not electrically oper- ate:
1. Remove the round plug in the front
of the roof panel with a flat-bladed screwdriver or coin. HHP2021

!WARNING:
o Do not close a sunroof if anyone's hands, arms or body are between the sliding glass and the sunroof sash, as this could result in an injury.
o Do not place your head or arms out of the sunroof opening at anytime.
CAUTION:
o Do not open the sunroof in se- verely cold temperature or when it is covered with ice or snow.
o Periodically remove any dirt that may have accumulated on theguide rails. B460C01S-AAT Tilting the Sunroof The sunroof can be tilted by pushing the "UP" button with the sunroof closed. Release the button when the sunroofreaches the desired position. To close the sunroof, press the "DOWN" but- ton. NOTE: After washing the car or after there is rain, be sure to wipe off any waterthat is on the sunroof before oper- ating it.

4. Try to maintain the balance of the vehicle and locate the weight as farforward as possible. The two cross bars (1) on the roof rackcan be repositioned forward and rear- ward for conveniently loading cargo or luggage. With an assistant on the op-posite side of the vehicle, press and hold the slider lock buttons (2) on each side, then move the cross bar to thedesired position. The cross bars automatically lock when the slider lock buttons are released.

B560A02HP-GAT The fuel-filler lid may be opened from inside the vehicle by pulling up on the fuel-filler lid release lever located be- low the right of the driver's side crashpad. NOTE: If the fuel-filler lid will not open because ice has formed around it, tap lightly or push on the lid to break the ice and release the lid. Donot pry on the lid. If necessary, spray around the lid with an ap- proved de-icer fluid (do not useradiator anti-freeze) or move the vehicle to a warm place and allow the ice to melt. B560A01HP
