Features of your vehicle
To operate the electric rearview mirror:
Press the ON/OFF button (1) to turnthe automatic dimming function on.
The mirror indicator light will illuminate.
Press the ON/OFF button to turn the
automatic dimming function off. The
mirror indicator light will turn off.
The mirror defaults to the ON position whenever the ignition switch is turned
on.
Outside rearview mirror
Be sure to adjust mirror angles before
driving.
Your vehicle is equipped with both left-
hand and right-hand outside rearview
mirrors. The mirrors can be adjusted
remotely with the remote switch. The mir-
ror heads can be folded back to prevent
damage during an automatic car wash or
when passing in a narrow street.

WARNING - Rearview mir-
rors
The right outside rearview mirroris convex. Objects seen in the
mirror are closer than they
appear.
Use your interior rearview mirror or direct observation to deter-
mine the actual distance of fol-
lowing vehicles when changing
lanes.
CAUTION
Do not scrape ice off the mirrorface; this may damage the surfaceof the glass. If ice should restrictmovement of the mirror, do notforce the mirror for adjustment. Toremove ice, use a deicer spray, or a sponge or soft cloth with very warmwater.
CAUTION
If the mirror is jammed with ice, donot adjust the mirror by force. Use an approved spray de-icer (not radi-ator antifreeze) to release the frozen mechanism or move thevehicle to a warm place and allow the ice to melt.
WARNING
Do not adjust or fold the outside
rearview mirrors while the vehicle
is moving. This could result in loss
of control, and an accident which
could cause death, serious injury
or property damage.

Remote control
The electric remote control mirror switch
allows you to adjust the position of the
left and right outside rearview mirrors. To
adjust the position of either mirror, push
the switch (1) to R or L to select the right
side mirror or the left side mirror, then
press a corresponding point on the mirror
adjustment control to position the select-
ed mirror up, down, left or right.
After adjustment, put the switch into neu-
tral (center) position to prevent the inad-
vertent adjustment.
Folding the outside rearview mirror
To fold the outside rearview mirror, grasp
the housing of the mirror and then fold it
toward the rear of the vehicle.
CAUTION
The mirrors stop moving when
they reach the maximum adjust-ing angles, but the motor contin-ues to operate while the switch isdepressed. Do not depress the switch longer than necessary, themotor may be damaged.
Do not attempt to adjust the out- side rearview mirror by hand.Doing so may damage the parts.

Antenna
Roof antenna
Your vehicle uses a roof antenna to
receive both AM and FM broadcast sig-
nals. This antenna is removable. To
remove the antenna, turn it counterclock-
wise. To install the antenna, turn it clock-
wise.
Steering wheel audio control
(if equipped)
The steering wheel may incorporate
audio control buttons. These buttons are
installed to promote safe driving.

• Before entering a place with a low
height clearance, be sure that theantenna is removed.
Be sure to remove the antenna before washing the car in an auto-matic car wash or it may be dam-aged.
When reinstalling your antenna, it is important that it is fully tight-ened and adjusted to the upright position to ensure proper recep-tion. But it could be removedwhen parking the vehicle or whenloading cargo on the roof rack.
When cargo is loaded on the roof rack, do not place the cargo nearthe antenna pole to ensure properreception.

CAUTION
Do not operate audio remote con-trol buttons simultaneously.

■Using the head unit as Bluetooth
music
The head unit supports A2DP (Audio
Advanced Distribution Profile) and
AVRCP (Audio Video Remote Control
Profile).
Both profiles are available for listening to
the MP3 music via Bluetooth cellular
phone supporting above Bluetooth pro-
files.
To play MP3 music from the Bluetooth
cellular phone, press the [AUX] button
until “MP3 Play” is displayed on the LCD.
Then try playing music by phone.
When playing music from the Bluetooth
cellular phone, the head unit displays
MP3 MODE.
Note:
all the soundsthat the phone supports can be
heard by the audio system.
feature A2DP and AVRCP functions.
cellular phones may not play music
through the head unit on first try.
Please try the below;

Option➟Play via Bluetooth
phone for more detailed informa-
tions. To stop music, try stop music
by the phone and change audio
mode to different one. (e.g. FM, CD,
iPod, ...)
