Accessing the Front Cup Holders
To open the cup holders, push the lid 01 down
and release.

Clock Set/Adjustment
DIGITAL CLOCk ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the time and the appearance of the clock
on the display:
1.
Press the SE
tt ING button on the control panel.
2.
Touch the Others key.
3.
Touch the Clock key.
The following settings can be adjusted:
•
On-screen Clock
: The clock in the upper right corner of the display can be turned ON or O\
FF.
•
Clock Format (24h)
: The clock can be set to 12 hours or 24 hours.
•
Offset (hour)
: The time can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing per hour.
•
Offset (min)
: The time can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing per minute.
•
Daylight Savings
t ime: The application of daylight savings time can be turned ON or OFF.
•
t
ime Zone: Adjust the time zone. Choose a time zone from the available list.
Press the BAC k button to return to the previous screen.

Fuel-filler Door
The fuel-filler door is located on the passenger’s side of
the vehicle.
w hen the doors of the vehicle are locked or unlocked,
the fuel-filler door is automatically locked or unlocked
at the same time.
To open the door, push the upper left side of
the door.

INFINITI Intelligent Key System
It is important to make sure the Intelligent k ey is
withyou (that is, in your pocket or purse).
The INFINITI Intelligent k ey system allows you to
lock or unlock your vehicle, open your trunk and
start the engine.
The operating range of the Intelligent ke y is within
31.5 in (80 cm) from each request switch.
To lock the vehicle, push either door handle request
switch
01 once or press the
button
02 on the key fob.
To unlock the vehicle, perform one of the following procedures:
•
Push
either door handle request switch
01 once;
the corresponding
door will unlock. Push the door handle request switch 01 again
within 1 minute; all other doors will unlock, or
•
Press
the
button
03 on the key fob to unlock the driver’s side
door. Press the
button again; all other doors will unlock.
To open the trunk, press the
button
04 for more than 1 second.
The Intelligent k ey can also be used to activate the panic alarm by pressing and holding
the
button
05 for more than 1 second. Once activated, the panic alarm and headlights
will stay on for a period of time.
INTELLIGENT
k
EY BATTERY DISCHARGE
If the battery of the Intelligent k ey is discharged or
environmental conditions interfere with the Intelligent
k
ey operation, start the engine according to the
following procedure:
1.
Move the shift lever to the
P (P AR k) position.
2.
Firmly apply the foot brake.
3.
Touch the ignition switch with the Intelligent
k ey and a chime will sound.
4.
w ithin 10 seconds after the chime sounds, push the ignition switch while \
depressing the
brake pedal and the engine will start.

Trunk Lid Release
Use one of the following methods to unlatch the trunk lid
then lift the lid to open the trunk:
Push the trunk open request switch 01 under the
trunk handle while carrying the INFINITI Intelligent
k
ey with you.
Press the HOLD button
02 on the key fob for
more than one second.
From inside the vehicle, push the trunk lid release
switch
03 .

Seat Adjustments
To slide the seat forward or backward, push the

To recline the seatback, push the switch

To adjust the angle of the front seat cushion or height

Automatic Drive Positioner
Two positions for the driver’s seat, steering column
and outside mirrors can be stored in the automatic
drive positioner
01 memory. Follow these steps to set the memory positions:
• Confirm the shift lever is in the P (PAR k ) position.
•
Push the ignition switch to the ON position.
•
Adjust
the driver’s seat, steering column and
outside mirrors to the desired positions, using the adjusting switches f\
or each feature.
•
Push
the SE t switch and within 5 seconds push the memory switch (1 or 2) for at least
1 second.
•
The indicator light on the memory switch you select will illuminate for \
approximately
5 seconds.
•
The
driver’s seat, steering column and outside mirror positions are now set to your preference.
These memorized positions can also be linked to your INFINITI Intelligen\
t k ey. To link a
memorized position to your INFINITI Intelligent k ey, press the unlock button on the key fob
after completing the previous step.

To select the right or left side mirror, move the

Adjust each mirror to the desired position using the
switch

To fold the outside rearview mirrors, push the

The outside mirror surface moves downward.

Assist Charge Gauge
This shows the power consumed 02 or generated
01 by the electric motor.
For more information, refer to the “Hybrid System Overview” section and
the “Instruments and controls (section 2)” of your Owner’s Manual.
Starting/Stopping the Hybrid System
It is important to make sure the INFINITI Intelligent key is
with you (that is, in your pocket or purse).
Depress the brake pedal.
Press the ignition switch S t AR t /S t OP button to start
the hybrid system.
The ready-to-drive indicator light 01 will illuminate
in the meter and you may begin driving the vehicle.
TURNING THE HYBRID SYSTEM OFF
Move the shift lever to the P (PAR k ) position and
apply the parking brake.
Press the ignition switch S t AR t /S t OP button to
turn the hybrid system off.

w hen one of the following conditions has occurred, the outside mirror sur\
face will return to
its original position.
•
The shift lever is moved to any position other than the
R (REVERSE) position.
•
The outside mirror control switch is set to the central or (neutral) p\
osition.

OFF position.

Headlight Control Switch
HEADLIGHT CONTROL
Turn the headlight control switch to the position
01 to turn on the front parking, side marker, tail, license
plate and instrument panel lights. Turn the switch to
the
position
02 to turn on the headlights.
AUTOLIGHT SYSTEM
The autolight system will automatically turn the headlights on when it i\
s dark and off when it is
light. The system will keep the headlights on for a period of time after\
you turn the ignition off
and all doors are closed.
To activate the autolight system, turn the headlight control switch to t\
he AU t O position

then push the ignition switch to the ON position. To deactivate the autolight system, turn the
headlight control switch to the OFF,
position

position
02 .
HIGH BEAM SELECT
Push the headlight control switch forward
04 to
select the high beam function. The blue indicator light
illuminates in the instrument panel. Pull the
headlight switch back to the original position to select
the low beam. The blue indicator light will extinguish.
Pull and release the headlight control switch
05 to
flash the headlight high beams on and off.
FOG LIGHT S

The headlights must be on and the low beams
selected for the fog lights to operate.
Turn the switch (inside collar) to the position

Windshield Wiper and Washer Switch
Move the lever to the following positions to operate
the windshield wipers:
01 Mist (MISt) - One sweep operation of the wiper.
02 Auto (A U t O ) - Operates the rain-sensing wipers
intermittently. The intermittent speed can be
adjusted by twisting the time control ring
03 to
increase or decrease wiper sensitivity.
04 Low (LO) - w ipers operate at a continuous
low-speed.
05 High (HI) - w ipers operate at a continuous
high-speed.
06 Pull the lever toward you to activate the washer.
The wipers will operate several times.
RAIN-SENSING AUTO
w IPER SYSTEM
The rain-sensing auto wiper system can automatically turn on the wipers \
and adjust the wiper
speed, depending on the rainfall and the vehicle speed.
To turn on the rain-sensing auto wiper system, push the lever down to th\
e AU t O position
02 .
The wiper will sweep once while the ignition switch is in the ON position.
The rain sensor sensitivity level can be adjusted by turning the time co\
ntrol ring
03 to
increase or decrease sensitivity.

Automatic Climate Controls

The automatic mode may be used year-round. Press the AU t O button to turn the system
on. The system will automatically control the inside temperature (autom\
atic cooling and/
or dehumidified heating), air flow distribution and fan speed.
02 CLIMA t E BU tt ON
Press the
CLIMA t E button to adjust your automatic climate controls using the climate
settings on the control panel display screen.
03 DRIVER’S SIDE t EMPERA t URE CON t ROL BU tt ONS
Press the driver’s side temperature control buttons up for warmer air or down for
cooler air.

the passenger’s

07 FAN SPEED CONt ROL BU tt ONS
Press the left button to decrease the fan speed or press the right
button to increase
the fan speed.
08 DEFROS t ING/DEFOGGING FRON t AND SIDE WINDOWS
Press the defroster button
to turn the system on. The A/C automatically turns
on when the defroster mode is selected. This feature removes humidity fr\
om the air.
To defrost the front and side windows, set the temperature controls
03 and fan speed
controls 07 to their maximum settings.
09 DEFROS t ING REAR WINDOW AND OU t SIDE MIRRORS
Push the rear window defroster switch
to turn the system on or off.
This function automatically turns off after approximately 15 minutes.
10 FORESt BU tt ON (if so equipped)
Press the forest button
to activate the Forest Air® system.
This system’s settings will activate the breeze mode, the outside odo\
r and exhaust gas
detection sensor, the inside air quality sensor and the auto humidity co\
ntrol. The fan
speed and air flow is automatically set to the auto position.
11 IN t A k E AIR CON t ROL BU tt ON
Press the intake air control button to recirculate interior air inside the vehicle.
The
indicator light on the button will illuminate. This system is used to a\
void certain
outside odors and to help adjust the inside vehicle temperature more eff\
ectively.
The air recirculation mode cannot be activated when the climate control \
system is in the
front defroster
mode or front defroster and foot vent mode .
Press the intake air control button again to change the air circulation from the intake
air to from the outside air. The
indicator light on the button will extinguish.
12 OFF BU tt ON
Press the
OFF button to turn the climate control system off.

left to increase or decrease the volume.

To scan quickly and stop at the previous or next broadcast station, pres\

SEEK•CAT/TRACK button.
For satellite radio, press the or end of the SEEK•CAT/TRACK button to switch to the
first channel of the previous or next category.
To change tracks on a CD, press the or end of the SEEK•CAT/TRACK button.
To rewind or fast forward a track on a CD, press and hold the or end of the
SEEK•CAT/TRACK button.
04 S t A t ION PRESE t BU tt ONS
Twelve stations can be set for the FM band, six for the AM band and eigh\
teen for
satellite radio.
To store a station in a preset, you must first select a radio band by pr\
essing the FM•AM
button
05 or
XM button
06 then tune to the desired FM, AM or XM satellite radio station.
Then press and hold the desired station preset button (1-6) until the preset number is
updated on the display and the sound is briefly muted. The channel indic\
ator will then
display and the sound will resume. Programming is now complete.
To retrieve a previously set station, select the radio band where the pr\
eset was stored
then press the corresponding station select button (1-6).
*SiriusXM® Satellite Radio is only available on vehicles equipped with an optional\
satellite radio subscription service.
