3. CHECK DOOR MIRROR REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH (CHANGEOVER SWITCH)
Check continuity between door mirror remote control switch termi-
nals as follows.
OK or NG
OK >> Check the condition of the harness and the connector.
NG >> Replace door mirror remote control switch.

With CONSULT-II
Check the operation on “MIR CON SW-UP/DN” and
“MIR CON SW-RH/LH ” in the DATA MONITOR.
Without CONSULT-II
1. Turn ignition switch to ACC.
2. Check voltage between automatic drive positioner control unit connector and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> Door mirror remote control switch (mirror switch) circuit is OK.
NG >> GO TO 2.

2. CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect automatic drive positioner control unit and door mir- ror remote control switch.
3. Check continuity between automatic drive positioner control unit connector M33 terminals 3, 4, 19, 20 and door mirror remote
control switch connector D10 terminals 4, 5, 6, 14.
4. Check continuity between automatic drive positioner control unit connector M33 terminals 3, 4, 19, 20 and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 3.
NG >> Repair or replace harness.
3. CHECK DOOR MIRROR REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH (MIRROR SWITCH)
Check continuity between door mirror remote control switch termi-
nals as follows.
OK or NG
OK >> Check the condition of the harness and connector.
NG >> Replace door mirror remote control switch. 3 - 6
: Continuity should exist.
4 - 5 : Continuity should exist.
19 - 14 : Continuity should exist.
20 - 4 : Continuity should exist.
3 - Ground : Continuity should not exist.

1. CHECK DOOR MIRROR REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect door mirror remote control switch.
3. Check continuity between door mirror remote control switch con- nector D10 terminal 13 and ground.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 2.
NG >> Repair or replace harness.
2. CHECK DOOR MIRROR REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH (CHANGEOVER SWITCH)
Check continuity between door mirror remote control switch termi-
nals as follows.
OK or NG
OK >> Check the condition of the harness and the connector.
NG >> Replace door mirror remote control switch.
Seat Memory Switch Circuit InspectionEIS004YG
1. CHECK FUNCTION
With CONSULT-II
With “SET SW, MEMORY SW1, MEMORY SW2 ” on the DATA
MONITOR, operate the switch to check ON/OFF operation.
Without CONSULT-II
GO TO 2.
OK or NG
OK >> Seat memory switch circuit is OK.
NG >> GO TO 2. 13 - Ground
: Continuity should exist.

BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE)
Reads the air pressure signal received by the remote keyless entry
receiver, and controls the low tire pressure warning lamp and the
buzzer operations as shown below. It also has a judgement function
to detect a system malfunction.
WARNING LAMP AND BUZZER
Indicates low tire pressure or system malfunction.
COMBINATION METER
The combination meter receives tire pressure status from the BCM using CAN communication. When a low
tire pressure condition is sensed by the BCM, the combination meter low tire pressure warning lamp and
buzzer are activated.
DISPLAY UNIT
Displays the air pressure of each tire.
After the ignition switch is turned on, the pressure values will not
be displayed until the data of each wheel is received.

Inspection 1: Transmitter or Control Unit (BCM)EES001ID
MALFUNCTION CODE NO. 21, 22, 23 OR 24 (DTC C1708, C1709, C1710 OR C1711)
1. CHECK CONTROL UNIT
Drive for several minutes. Check all tire pressures with CONSULT-II “DATA MONITOR”.
Are all tire pressures displayed as 0 kPa?
YES >> GO TO 2.
NO >> GO TO 3.
2. CHECK REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY RECEIVER CONNECTOR
Check remote keyless entry receiver connector for damage or loose connections.
OK or NG
OK >> Replace BCM, then GO TO 3. Refer to BCS-20, "BCM" .
NG >> Repair or replace remote keyless entry receiver connector.
3. ID REGISTRATION
Carry out ID registration of all transmitters.
Is there a tire that cannot register ID?
YES >> Replace transmitter of the tire, then GO TO 5. Refer to WT-36, "Transmitter (Pressure Sensor)" .
NO >> GO TO 4.
4. VEHICLE DRIVING
Drive at a speed of 40 km/h (25 MPH) or more for several minutes without stopping.
Check all tire pressures with CONSULT-II “DATA MONITOR” within 15 minutes after vehicle speed becomes
17 km/h (11 MPH).
Does
“DATA MONITOR” display tire pressure as normal without any warning lamp?
YES >> Inspection End.
NO >> GO TO 5.
5. ID REGISTRATION AND VEHICLE DRIVING
1. Carry out ID registration of all transmitters.
2. Drive at a speed of 40 km/h (25 MPH) or more for 3 minutes, and then drive the vehicle at any speed for 10 minutes. Then check all tire pressures with CONSULT-II “DATA MONITOR” within 5 minutes.
Does
“DATA MONITOR” display tire pressure as normal without any warning lamp?
YES >> Inspection End.
NO >> GO TO the inspection applicable to DTC.

1. ID REGISTRATION (CORRECTION OF TRANSMITTER LOCATION)
1. Carry out ID registration of all transmitters.
2. Drive at a speed of 40 km/h (25 MPH) or more for 3 minutes, and then drive the vehicle at any speed for 10 minutes.
