Power Liftgate
When the liftgate is closed and locked, the liftgate
will open automatically by:
• Pushing the power liftgate switch 1 on the
instrument panel.
• Pushing the liftgate opener switch 2, the
liftgate must be unlocked, or you must have the
Intelligent Key with you (that is, in your pocket
or purse).
• Pressing the button 3 on the INFINITI
Intelligent Key for more than 1 second.
The power liftgate operation
can be turned on or off by the
power liftgate main switch 4 on the instrument panel.
• When the power liftgate main switch 4 is
pushed to the OFF position, power operation is
not available using the power liftgate switch located on the lower
part of the liftgate or the liftgate opener switch 2.

INTELLIGENT KEY BATTERY DISCHARGE
If the battery of the Intelligent Key is discharged
or environmental conditions interfere with the
Intelligent Key operation, start the engine according
to the following procedure:
1. Move the shift lever to the P (PARK) position.
2. Firmly apply the foot brake.
3. Touch the ignition switch with the Intelligent Key,
and a chime will sound.
4. Within 10 seconds after the chime sounds, push the ignition switch while\
depressing the
brake pedal and the engine will start.

Front Seat Adjustments
To slide the seat forward or backward, push the
switch 1 forward or backward.
To recline the seatback, push the switch 2 forward or backward.
SEAT LIFTER
To raise or lower the front portion or height of the seat, push the fron\
t or back end of the
switch 1 up or down.
LUMBAR SUPPORT
To adjust the seat lumbar support, push the front or back end of the switch 3.

Automatic Drive Positioner
Two positions for the driver’s seat, steering column
and outside mirrors can be stored in the automatic
drive positioner memory.
Follow this procedure to set the memory positions:
• Confirm the shift lever is in the P (PARK) position.
• Push the ignition switch to the ON position.
• Adjust the driver’s seat, steering column and outside mirrors to the \
desired positions
using the adjusting switches for each feature.
• Push the SET switch and within 5 seconds push the memory switch (1 or 2) for at
least 1 second.
• The indicator light on the memory switch you select will illuminate for \
approximately
5 seconds.
• The driver’s seat, steering column and outside mirror positions are n\
ow set to
your preferences.
These memorized positions can also be linked to your INFINITI Intelligen\
t Key. To link a
memorized position to your INFINITI Intelligent Key, press the unlock bu\
tton on the key fob
after completing the previous step.

2nd Row Seats
The 2nd row seat can be tipped forward for easy entry to or exit from the 3rd row seat and
can be folded flat for maximum cargo hauling/extra storage space.
TIPPING THE 2ND ROW SEATS FORWARD FOR ENTRY TO THE 3RD ROW
MANUAL CONTROLS
1. Lift up on the seatback release latch A or the
reclining lever B. The seatback will tip forward.
2. Lift up on the lower rear corner of the seat bottom
and tip the seat forward.
To return the 2nd row seat to the standard position:
1. Push back on the seat to return it to its original
position and lock it in place.
2. Pull up and push
back on the seatback
to lock it in place.
3. Use the seat reclining
lever B to adjust the seat to the desired position.
POWER REMOTE CONTROLS (if so equipped)
To fold down and tip forward the 2nd row seatback,
push and hold the remote tip-up 2nd row seat switch
1 located on the instrument panel.
The lower corner of the seat base will lift and the
2nd row seat will tip forward.

3rd Row Power Folding Seats
The 3rd row seats can be folded flat for maximum
cargo hauling or extra storage space.
Before folding down the 3rd row seats:
• Apply the parking brake.
• The vehicle’s shift lever must be in P (PARK)
or N (NEUTRAL).
• Place the seat belt buckles in the storage of the seat
cushion 1 to avoid dropping them under the seat
cushion or causing damage to your leather seats.
• Disconnect and secure the center seat belt and
tongues into the retractor base 2.
1. To release the seat belt connector tongue, insert
a suitable tool (a key, for example) into the
opening on the side of the connector buckle.
2. Retract the seat belt up to the retractor base
located in the rear ceiling storage area.
3. Insert the seat belt tongue into the fabric sleeve
so that it will lay flat.
4. Secure the connector tongue into the retractor base.
5. Always reconnect the center seat belt when the
seat is returned to the upright position.
• Make sure that there are no objects on the
seat cushion.
• Lower the 3rd row head restraints.
To lower the seat, push and hold the front portion A
of the right or left 3rd row power folding seat switch 1.
To return the seat to an upright position, press the back portion B of the right or left 3rd row
power folding seat switch 1.For more information, refer to the “Safety — Seats, seat belts and supplemental restraint system (sectio\
n 1)” of your Owner’s Manual.

Outside Mirror Control Switch
Move the control switch 1 right or left to select the
right or left side mirror.
Adjust each mirror to the desired position using the
switch 2.
Move this switch 1 to the center (neutral) position
to prevent accidentally moving the mirror.
POWER FOLDING OUTSIDE MIRRORS
To fold the outside rearview mirrors, push the switch 3 to the position. To unfold the
outside rearview mirrors, push the switch 3 to the position.
If the mirrors are manually operated or bumped, the mirror body can beco\
me loose at the
pivot point.
To correct the electronic mirror operation, cycle mirrors by pushing the\
outside rearview
mirror folding switch 3 to the position until completely closed, then push the switch
3 to the position until the mirror is completely open.
REVERSE TILT-DOWN FEATURE
When backing up the vehicle, the right and left outside mirrors will tur\
n downward automatically
to provide better rear visibility.
1. Push the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. Move the shift lever to the R (REVERSE) position.
3. Choose the right or left outside mirror by operating the outside mirror \
control switch.
4. The outside mirror surfaces move downward.
When one of the following conditions has occurred, the outside mirror su\
rface will return
to their original positions.
• The shift lever is moved to any position other than R (REVERSE).
• The outside mirror control switch is set to the center (neutral) posit\
ion.
• The ignition switch is pushed to the OFF position.

Starting/Stopping the Engine
It is important to make sure the INFINITI Intelligent
Key is with you (that is, in your pocket or purse).
Depress the brake pedal.
Press the ignition switch START/STOP button to start
the engine.
TURNING THE ENGINE OFF
Move the shift lever to the P (PARK) position and apply the parking brake.
Press the ignition switch START/STOP button to turn the engine off.

Headlight Control
Turn the headlight control switch to the
position 1 to turn on the front parking, side marker,
tail, license plate and instrument panel lights.
Turn the switch to the position 2 to turn on
the headlights.
AUTOLIGHT SYSTEM
The autolight system will automatically turn the headlights on when it i\
s dark and off when it
is light. The system will keep the headlights on for a period of time af\
ter you turn the ignition
off and all doors are closed.
To activate the autolight system, turn the headlight control switch to t\
he AUTO position 3
then push the ignition switch to ON. To deactivate the autolight system, turn the headlight
control switch to the OFF, position 1 or position 2.
HIGH BEAM SELECT
Push the headlight control switch forward 4 to
select the high beam function. The blue indicator
light illuminates in the instrument panel.
Pull the headlight switch back to the original
position to select the low beam. The blue indicator
light extinguishes.
Pull and release the headlight control switch 5 to flash the headlight high beams on
and off.
HIGH BEAM ASSIST
The High Beam Assist system will operate when the vehicle is driven at a\
pproximately
22 mph (35 km/h) and above. If an oncoming vehicle or leading vehicle \
appears in front of
your vehicle when the high beam is on, the headlights will automatically\
be switched to the
low beam.
Following the procedure below only activates the High Beam Assist system\
. This does not
necessarily turn on the high beam even if there is no other traffic. Bot\
h ambient light and
traffic conditions have to be correct for the high beam to illuminate.
To activate High Beam Assist, turn the headlight control switch to the AUTO position 3 and
push the headlight control switch 4 forward to turn on the high beam. The high beam assist
indicator light will illuminate.
FOG LIGHT SWITCH
The headlights must be on and the low beams
selected for the fog lights to operate.
Turn the switch (inside collar) to the position 6
to turn the fog lights on.
Turn the switch (inside collar) to the OFF position to
turn the fog lights off.

Windshield Wiper and Washer Switch
Move the lever to the following positions to operate the windshield wipe\
rs:
1 Mist (MIST) - One sweep operation of the
front wipers.
2 Auto (AUTO) - Operates the rain-sensing
wipers intermittently. To increase or decrease
wiper sensitivity, twist the control ring 3.
4 Low (LO) - Front wipers operate at a continuous
low-speed.
5 High (HI) - Front wipers operate at a continuous high-speed.
6 Pull the lever toward you to activate the
front washer. The front wipers will operate
several times.
REAR WINDSHIELD WIPER AND WASHER
7 Intermittent (INT) - Rear wiper
operates intermittently.
8 Low (ON) - Rear wiper operates at a
continuous low-speed.
9 Push the lever forward to activate the
rear washer. The rear wiper will operate
several times.

LANE CHANGE SIGNAL
Move the lever up or down until the turn signal begins to flash, but the\
lever does not latch,
to signal a lane change. Hold the lever until the lane change is complet\
ed.
Move the lever up or down until the turn signal begins to flash, but the\
lever does not latch,
and release the lever. The turn signal will automatically flash 3 times.\
Choose the appropriate method to signal a lane change based on the road \
and
traffic conditions.

Automatic Climate Controls
1 AUTO BUTTON/TEMPERATURE CONTROL DIAL
Press the AUTO button, and the system will automatically control air flow distribution\
and fan speed to achieve and maintain the temperature setting (automati\
c cooling and/or
dehumidified heating).
Turn the driver’s side temperature control dial to set your desired t\
emperature.
Automatic mode may be used year-round and will work to reach a comfortab\
le temperature
quickly. For example on a very hot day, the system will initially operat\
e at maximum air flow
for rapid cool down.
2 DUAL BUTTON/PASSENGER’S SIDE TEMPERATURE CONTROL DIAL
Press the DUAL button to turn the passenger’s side temperature controls on or off. This will
allow the passenger’s side temperature to be adjusted independently from the driver’s
side control by turning the passenger’s side control.
Turn the passenger’s side temperature control dial left for cooler ai\
r or right for warmer air.
3 FAN SPEED CONTROL BUTTONS
Press the fan speed control buttons to manually decrease the fan speed or increase the
fan speed .
4 MODE BUTTON
Press the MODE button to cycle through the following air flow outlets:
Air flows from the center and side vents.
Air flows from the center, side and foot vents.
Air flows mainly from the foot vents.
Air flows from the defroster and foot vents.
5 DEFROSTING/DEFOGGING FRONT AND SIDE WINDOWS
Press the defroster control button to turn the system on. The A/C automatically turns on
when the defroster mode is selected. This feature removes humidity from \
the air.
Use the temperature control dial 1 to set the desired temperature.
To set the defroster on high, press the fan speed control button to increase the fan speed
to the maximum setting.
6 REAR WINDOW AND OUTSIDE MIRROR DEFROSTER SWITCH
Push the rear window and outside mirror defroster switch to turn the system on or off.
This function automatically turns off after approximately 15 minutes.

7 AUTOMATIC INTAKE AIR CONTROL
In the automatic mode, air intake will be controlled automatically.
This mode helps to adjust the inside vehicle temperature more effectivel\
y.
To manually control air recirculation inside the vehicle, press the air \
recirculation
button 8. The indicator light on the button will illuminate.
To return to the automatic control mode, press and hold the auto-recircu\
lation
button 7 until the indicator light on the button illuminates.
9 UPPER VENT BUTTON
When the upper vent button is pressed, the air flow against the driver’s or
passenger’s upper body becomes gentle. The indicator light on the button will illuminate.\
In this mode, air from the upper ventilator flows to control the cabin t\
emperature without
blowing air directly on the occupants.
10 A/C BUTTON
Press the A/C button to manually turn the A/C on or off.
When on, this system not only provides cooler air but also removes humid\
ity from the air to
help avoid window fogging.
11 REAR BUTTON
This button will allow the front controls to operate
the front or rear climate control systems.
To operate the rear climate control system from
the front, press the REAR button so that the light
illuminates and the “Rear Air-conditioning” screen
is displayed.
To adjust the front climate control system, press
the REAR button again.

Rear Climate Controls
To activate the system:
1. Press the REAR button 1 on the front control
panel until the Rear Air-conditioning screen is
displayed.
• The indicator light will illuminate.
• The Fan Speed, Temperature, AUTO and OFF buttons will now control the rear climate control system.
2. Press the REAR button 1 again, and the screen will return to what was
previously displayed.
• The indicator light will stay illuminated to indicate that the Rear clim\
ate control
system is active.

1 ON•OFF BUTTON /VOL (volume) CONTROL KNOB
Press the ON•OFF button to turn the system on or off.
Turn the VOL (volume) control knob right or left to increase or decrease the volume\
.
2 SEEK/CAT AND TRACK BUTTONS
To scan quickly and stop at the previous or next broadcast station, pres\
s the
SEEK·CAT button or the TRACK button.
For satellite radio, press the SEEK·CAT button or the TRACK button to switch to the
first channel of the previous or next category.
To change tracks on a CD, press the SEEK·CAT button or the TRACK button.
To rewind or fast forward a track on a CD, press and hold the SEEK·CAT button
or the TRACK button.
*SiriusXM® Satellite Radio is only available on vehicles equipped with an optional\
SiriusXM® Satellite Radio subscription service.

OFF button 2 — Turns off the rear climate control
system and REAR button indicator light.
Fan speed control buttons 3 — Press or to
increase or decrease fan speed.
Temperature increase and decrease buttons 4 —
Adjusts the rear temperature up or down .
AUTO button 5 — System automatically works to keep air flow and fan speed at a
constant temperature.
MODE button 6 — Changes the air flow mode. The air flow modes are:
The air outlet is fixed at foot level.
The air outlet is fixed at the head and foot level.
The air outlet is fixed at the head level.
